Doesn't deserve a star at all. My daughter was tossed after a couple weeks here for....I don't…read moreknow, anger issues...and had scored something from a guy at their fence. After struggling with me to find someplace to stay ( I was in Colorado) I finally got her a hotel in town. She was tossed by a part timer helper on a Saturday...miscommunication and anger I'm sure but isn't that what these $30,000 rehabs are trained for? And they promised me that they were dual diagnosis. Well, everyone, my only daughter died a month an a half later. They wouldn't give her the Vivitrol I had paid for and was in house before she left...or when she tried to return. This place is a scam for the money...can you imagine after Sara died I couldn't find out what had happened...claiming HIPPA concerns. If I can prevent one suffering addict from coming here and choosing somewhere else instead this post will have served me and you well. My best hope for your success.

My daughter has been to 5 rehabs in the last two years. This one was by far the best. She suffers…read morefrom alcohol addiction and some mental health issues. I think the best thing about this place is the staff. They are very understanding and patient and she stayed there for quite a while. They also work with you on the insurance side to get things to work out financially. Most importantly they are and all women facility and that is preferable to having males and females in the same group. I highly recommend this place for any females were having problems with addiction for alcohol drugs and or mental health issues

Veronica should train every CNA. She was the most professional, kindest and attentive CNA. Thank you Irma for delivering me to my car with a smile and a wave goodbye. The entire physical therapy team were great. Maureen, the occupational therapist assistant, was the most caring, positive and thorough . She was the only one who started me on Diathermy first, and she was spot on using that therapy on me! Nurse Evanie, who distributed meds was so cheery, kind and professional. She listened to my needs and acted promptly! I never waited long. The facility is kept super clean and maintenance crew like Hilda, Pedro and Lu Lu entered the room without loud chatter and were respectful and considerate of my needs to not have strong cleaners on the floor due to my respiratory condition. This place is not the modern remodeled kind but the care and cleanliness really matters a lot. The food was mostly very tasty. They happily substituted anything on the menu. The only change I would like to see is syrup without high fructose corn syrup and creamer without artificial ingredients If I didn't mention all staff by name, I still thank everyone for making my difficult time a little easier. My Kaiser dr on staff,Dr Ikstander and Dorcas were wonderful and attentive.

I wanted to take a moment to thank your team for everything they did on my behalf during that time. Your entire nursing team on Station 2 where I was located was so welcoming and helpful to a new and extremely anxious arrival like myself. I must give special mention to CNAs Veronica and Alma with whom I spent the majority of my time. They were always attentive and cheerful when I needed it most. Assistant Director of Nursing Mike Lamb also went out of his way to assist me when I had questions or concerns about my situation. The Physical Therapy team was fantastic in their approach to my healing. Primarily led by Ted and Jurbee, my PT sessions became the best part of my day. Their expertise and advice produced immediate results and made me feel much more confident in my ultimate recovery. Finally, your Administrative team- Meredith Shipley, Erin Hickey and Crystal Islas provided the patient related information I needed to relieve undue stress from the moment I was admitted to the day of my release. Again, special mention to Erin and Crystal for their efficiency. Both went above and beyond to assist me with scheduling doctors appointments and home nursing follow-up. As I am facing additional surgery there is a good chance I will be admitted to rehab again within the next few months. I will be sure to specifically request your facility. You are very fortunate to have such a professional, skilled and compassionate group of people working with you in the service of others struggling with various health challenges. Please let everyone there know what a difference they make and how very much they are appreciated!

I was sent to a small waiting room I had 4 falls was very disoriented after two words I'd forget…read morewhat I was saying. I needed to use the restroom and although there were medical staff doing nothing and standing right there looking at me, no one would help me all I needed was a wheelchair. That went on for seven hours. After this happening, a tech was supposed to take me in for an MRI. He didn't want to do it. I could hear him trying to get others to do it or to come with him. ( I'm pretty little and not that difficult to deal with ) I heard someone saying "Sharon likes falling down" and others laughing ( maybe because I had been in for falling before ? )Due to my thought process this was a really scary time for me. Between the staff in the waiting room the tech for the MRI and the other staff thinking my falls were something to be laughed about they were very unkind and unprofessional. I do have to say that the Doctors were always great. And once I was taken up to the 6th floor I have nothing but good to say the Doctors Nurses CNA's everyone I encountered were always professional kind and caring.

Just spent 4 days at HGC. RNs and floor staff great. Hospital filthy. Food disgusting!!! I was…read morerunning 103+ fevers and when those break I would soak my clothes and bedding - not once in 4 days did anyone offer change my sheets or clean the room. I had to ask (remind) them to change my bedding and keep giving me new pillow cases. No one offered to help me take a shower or bathe myself. Not that I would take a shower there... my Bathroom was disgusting - floors were filthy. Hair in the shower drain and in shower floor. But the fact that no one offered to? Toilet leaked. Sticky gross stuff on bedside table. I had to clean that I have no idea what it was. But having said all that again my nurses were amazing and this is NOT their fault they are not the janitors!!! They kicked my infection in a few days so I'm grateful for that. They were sweet and kind and funny. The second ER Intake room was small maybe 15 chairs (hard plastic chairs that I had to sit on for 7 hours until they had a bed ready upstairs) and there were 11 of us crammed in there - so hippa laws went right out the window - I knew everyone's situation and financial issues and everyone knew mine! Two men working in there didn't wear gloves while attaching iv tubes to the drips or while doing EKGs. Everytime the AC came on I would start having coughing fits. My roommate noticed said ya know Bea everytime the ac comes on you start coughing. Hmmm?? My first blood cultures were contaminated (with staff) Gee wonder why???? and they had to redo them. Drs were arrogant and pushy. They wanted me to stay 2 more days (that's the soonest the urologist could do it) and have surgery to blast a kidney stone they said was causing the infection. That kidney stone has been there for 30+ years never changed location or size or caused me any issues. And hell no was having surgery there. I'll find another surgeon not affiliated with this hospital and get second opinion. So again grateful that they were able to get me better but honestly I didn't feel safe there I felt like I was surrounded by filth and dirt. Other issues too but I'm running out of room lol be ware when going there. Others have shared same stories with me. I'm new to hemet so I had no idea. I'll go to Murrieta ER next time!!
