The day before a long road trip to the snow, I decided to check on my spare tire for the first time in the decade since I bought my car. Good thing - it turns out somehow, at some point, the spare tire well had flooded and there were several inches of water pooled there in the well. (?!) This caused quite a few problems, including completely soaking through the foam mat that cushions the spare tire, dampens sound, etc. The foam cushioning looked as though it had possibly gone moldy, and it was definitely disintegrating from being soaking wet for who knows how long. I called various auto places and none could help, especially that afternoon (I wanted to replace it before our road trip the following day), but someone suggested I try San Luis Auto Interiors. The shop owner at San Luis Auto Interiors could not have been nicer or more helpful. He not only carefully measured the piece of foam he had on hand to make sure it would be big enough for my needs, he let me have it for free! And after inquiring about how I planned to cut it to the correct shape (hexagon with circle in the middle), he offered to let me come back and he would cut it for me - again, for free! - with his specialized cutting tools if my regular scissors were not effective. My spouse was able to cut it to size, so no need, but I was really impressed by the kind and considerate offer. So he saved my family's trip to the snow AND did it with parts and (potential) labor free. I highly recommend this shop to anyone with auto interior needs! read more

He has done a Boat Cover, Chair, replaced the Convertible Top on my T-Bird, has done a seat for my Quad ( In Leopard Print, amazing. I get so many comments on it) and is redoing my seat for my 1970 CT90. I have also seen his custom work on his other Vehicles.
