Omar filled in the details of the job to get us the right crew, and got us scheduled for the very next morning. Lorenzo and his team showed up early, communicated clearly, and holy wow did they work fast. In less than 90 minutes they moved what took our team 6 hours to do. AND they moved a fireproof safe by hand, with sheet strength and a good knowledge of physics. The cherry on top is the value - super-fair, plus a discount for booking through Yelp. I used 4 different companies because none of the first three were compelling enough to use again. I won't have to search for another one now though. I'll spare all the details, but they went above and beyond to make sure my move went smoothly and when things didn't (we had a lot of moving pieces with multiple stops) they made it right. The crew that actually did the move was respectful, clean and careful with our things. They weren't the cheapest, but they were competitive and worth every penny.

I've used AB moving several times over the past 6-7 years or so. They were recommended to me…read morethrough a friend. This is my 4th move with them and I am beyond disappointed. I spent over $600 on a move for a one bedroom and some kitchen items. Nothing else. The damaged my furniture, they didn't wrap everything nor handle it with care. I watched them drop a new tower fan in front of me and pick it up like nothing happened, not even an apology. They were given instructions on what to take from my garage. All bedroom furniture. I pointed it out and I told them, we are not taking this twin size mattress or that recliner. All the other furniture is going. I had some monitors attached to my desk. They removed it without saying anything and placed my monitors still attached to the stand on the floor. When they said they were done I did a quick sweep to make sure they got everything. I asked about the monitors and they said they couldn't take them, understandable but they had no intention on letting me know? Towards the end of the move one of the movers asked to use my restroom I said it was fine. He was in there 15-20 minutes. While the other 2 movers were still moving. Once he left the restroom there was another 20 minutes left of work he disappeared. So I'm not sure why I even the paid for a 3rd worker who did partial work. I tipped them anyways because it was hot and I lived on the 3rd floor, I felt bad they had to move me even though I was paying for the service. They left everything seemed okay at the time. I had a mirror that went with my dresser and they didn't install it. I couldn't find the mirror anywhere. When I went back to my old house a few days later they conveniently tucked it behind the twin size mattress I asked them to leave. Which it had not been there when they arrived. The pieces to the mirror to install they HID under my bed after putting it together, which is still there! I'm so upset about my dresser and the damaged they caused to it and they didn't even bother to tell me. They told me there were already scratches at the beginning of the move which there were but they were minor and faint. The damaged they caused was not minor. For $600 and the small amount of furniture everything should have went by like a breeze. Also when I initially scheduled the movers I told them I am a repeat customer if they could offer a discount. The lady quoted me 158 an hour for 3 men. She said they could charge me 138 since I was a repeat customer. She sent me an email/contract on the phone and told me to sign. I said the rate says 158? She said oh yes I'm going to have them apply the discount, I'll let them know. Me working with them in the past I took her word for it. When it came time to pay the movers, they told me the rate was 158 an hour. I explained they told me the rate should have been applied. The movers told me they can't apply any discounts, so.. I took his word and paid the rate and said it's okay I'll call customer service to have to fix the situation. I called and they said they were escalating my issue and would have someone get back with me. Well it's a month and a half later and I've heard nothing. I'll be searching for a company who's a little more honest and reliable my next move. It's extremely disappointing because I've used them for so long and given business through family and friends. This is a terrible way to run a business.
