I paid $60 to have SanCap Pak-N-Ship send my shells back home, and they arrived unpadded and smashed to smithereens! I am angry beyond belief at the absolutely HORRIBLE job that SanCap Pak-N-Ship did for my wife and I. After reading a glowing recommendation for this packing & shipping company, my wife and I dropped off about 20 lbs of very carefully hand-picked shells that we'd collected during the previous week. We had carefully washed each and every shell, but we wanted then professionally packed and shipped, because these shells would help us remember our beautiful vacation at Sanibel Island. Unfortunately, it appears that SanCap Pak-N-Ship doesn't do much in the way of professional packing. To say that these shells were poorly packed is a gross understatement. The packaging consisted of a few sheets of crumpled paper placed on top of the three plastic bags of shells that we'd brought in. No padding, no bubble wrap, no effort... The only shells that made it intact were there two that we asked to be specially packed since they were fragile. We had no idea that the other shells would be packaged like they were mere rocks! If you value your vacation memories, don't trust SanCap Pak-N-Ship to help preserve them. read more

Absolutely love Pak-n-Ship! Everyone there is literally the nicest people you'll ever meet, so it's a joy to go in and ship something! They make shipping super easy and my packages always arrive quickly and in great condition. The store is packed with awesome gifts too...My favorites are the warmies and the candles! Perfect to add into boxes I'm shipping out to my family and friends. It's a great one stop shop for supplies (I will never go off the island again to find printer ink or office supplies!) and gifts! I went to Hawaii with my family and I happened to forget my luggage at my house. Dustin went out of his way to get my luggage to me. What a great guy! We came down to Sanibel and just as we were about to leave we had realized we over did it on the purchases and did not know what to do. We luckily heard about the San Cap Pak-n-Ship and we rushed over to see what we could do about shipping some stuff back home. The owner and the staff were amazing and helped us to pack and ship all of our extra stuff back. We were so impressed with everything that there is no question who is the best in the area and who will make sure all your items make it back in the absolutely best condition possible. I received the package I had san cap pak-n-ship, pack and ship to me. It was the most god awful packing job I have ever seen in my life. $65 dollars later the box had a half assed tape job, it was also too big for the goods inside and everything inside looked like it had just been thrown against the wall. I ship and receive all the time and have never seen a packing job so pathetic, it would be one thing if I packed the box, but they insisted on doing it, my wife said it was a bad idea, but I thought I knew better. i'm not even sure if everything is in there, I would not suggest using this service read more

I am a local and use this Pak-n-Ship at least once a month. The owners are delightful, patient, and extremely competent....always a positive experience. Ok. We are snowbirds that have been coming to the island for over thirty winters. In fact we bought land to build our house in 1970. $8,000.00 - two lots....i digress...but, isn't that a great price? anyway, we have ,thru the years , done aLOT of shipping. And have hop skipped around the island at various places. NO MORE. NO MORE. NO MORE. I LOVEEEEEEEEE this pack and ship store. First off, you walk in and every last detail is organized and clean. As they carry supplies for, you guessed it, packing and shipping. A few office supplies are displayed against the side wall.......... along with a small section of gifts. Now, the NEW OWNER is just so nice, adorable, ORGANIZED.....did I say organized?.....and very attentive. This season, we had a few boxes that were very heavy and the thought of lugging them over to the store was not a pleasant prospect. So, included in this FABULOUS store.........they will come to your home and PICK UP your boxes, at no charge, then drive them back to the store, measure, weigh, calculate your shipping charges and then will call you for your mode of payment to be serviced over the phone. The new owner is as bright, considerate, conscientious as the day is long. So, there really IS NO OTHER pack and ship place to go on the islands.....because this is the ONLY ONE that is INCREDIBLY professional, kind, and really focused on doing EVERYTHING they can to get your Stuff from point A to point B. read more
