SCAMMER!!! I was quoted $80 for a Priority Mail envelope. When I questioned the price, the woman working at the desk was incredibly rude. I decided not to use their service and went to the USPS location across the street near Publix, where I paid $10 for the same type of Priority Mail service. I also spoke with the USPS employees about the price I had been quoted, they laughed and were surprised by the amount. They also told me the owner of the pack and ship, buys stamps and other supplies to upsell at their pack and ship store. I'm a local and have supported businesses in this area, including helping various businesses after the hurricane. I believe customers deserve to know when they may be paying significantly more than they would through USPS directly- and they certainly deserve to be treated with basic respect when asking a legitimate question about a price. I strongly recommend the USPS (which mins away) before using this Pack & Ship location. The worst ever. I was dropping off a FedExpackage. the girl was sitting on the counter doing nothing. The label was a little faded. Didn't even get up and try to scan it said she would not take my package because it wasn't scannable. I told her that yes it is. she told me FedEx won't even take it.Honestly, this place should've been out of business a long time ago. read more

Used their notary. They were good. No line, took maybe 3 minutes. All was good. I think I paid $10, so no big deal. Yes I would recommend.

My husband and I went to this location to have some documents notarized and we were disrespected and treated with such indignity. I should have known it was not going to go well when the first interaction with the woman (who is probably the owner) said that if I answer questions for my husband who needed the documents notarized, she would shout at me. This was unsettling because (a) shouting at someone does not reflect on you positively; and (b) my husband normally defers to me when we are conducting business (I am an accountant) and I likewise defer to him when it's a subject matter that he's an expert in. The first thing I noticed was her extra diligence to ask invasive questions that were not required or did not affect signing or notarizing the documents. For instance, she asked why he needed to sign documents which were the same (which is what was sent to us and probably because they needed two notarized copies for the transaction) and were we aware of how much it costs. Yes, we knew that it would cost at least $10 per page, which is a standard rate for notarizing documents. We only had three pages that needed notarizing. Additionally, my husband was a notary in the state where we lived before moving to SW FL. The next issue was that she claimed she couldn't notarize a page with a question with a blank answer. The question was not applicable to the situation, so I wrote N/A as the answer. The final issue was when she claimed that my husband's signature on his ID did not include his suffix, Sr., which was incorrect - it does. Then she claimed that the suffix was not on the ID, which had to be there in order to use it in the signature, which was also incorrect. Your signature is your signature, regardless of how your name is presented. A lot of people do not have a signature that reflects all the letters in their name. Also, following her ridiculous logic, every male would be required to have the suffix, Sr., listed on their birth certificate, regardless of whether or not they will name a child as a Junior. At this point, I was fed up and I let her know that she was being ridiculous and picky and that we have never experienced such behavior in getting documents notarized. I told her that we sold property a few months ago (a process that requires a much deeper inspection of the documents) and did not have any issues with my husband's name or signature. I asked for the documents back, ignored her farfetched and ridiculous explanations, and we walked out. Had we stayed any longer, she would have been called something other than a child of God and this segues into the point of doing this review of this business. A child of God would not have behaved as she did and would not have treated us the way she did. I'm exhausted and disheartened by the indignity and disrespect I continue to experience with people like her because of the color of my skin. It does not matter how articulate, poised, educated, and professional you are, people like this woman do not believe that you are anything but a criminal, deviant, or miscreant. They do not see us as people like them, doing good and striving for a better life. No, they see us as bad seeds they have to weed out and they are self righteous as they go about this task. People like her use these microagressions as a shield. It's the best weapon in their arsenal because they have all these justifications for their behavior. To others, they just seem like they're being extra careful, extra legal, all in a falsely presented effort to protect all of us from something bad happening. Also, understand that when a person of color talks about this behavior, microaggressions, she/he/they know what they are talking about. It is not imagined or made up. It is a real thing and it can damage your spirit. People like this business owner are eager to put us in what they have determined to be our places and ensure that we know they are in charge. They salivate at the chance to challenge us so they can either call us names or refuse to provide us with service. When all is said and done, they leave the situation no better than before, with the same misconceptions and maligned ideas about people of color/people of the global majority. They are no better than before you interacted with them and they use the experience to justify their misdeeds. They will continue to use these microaggressions and be oblivious to the damage it causes. No apology erases the pain and hurt we endured because of her preconceived notions, her bias, and her microaggressions. After this bad experience, my husband went to another pack and ship company and did not have any issues with his ID or signature and got his documents notarized and mailed. read more

She insisted that I packaged my items incorrectly, and proceeded to berate me on how to properly ship items (even though I had done it correctly). Pack and ship are the biggest rip offs of ANY shipping service I've been across. I needed an 8 lb package shipped to me from their Illinois office to Pennsylvania. The box was 34 x 10x10. Because of that, they tacked on a surcharge, and a host of other fees, totalling $200+. Then, they called the auctioneer and complained to her that I called and bitched and upset the customer service girl. Poor Baby. The auctioneer was on my side and said I had every right to complain because their shipping is outrageous. From now on, I will contact the auctioneers at Hibid and ask who their shipping service is. If it's Pack and Ship, I will pass on the item. I wish I could actually leave and no star review. read more

I needed a notary on Veterans Day, but not much open. Found this place using google maps. Was able to get my errands done on time. Friendly staff, and they actually have quality items in the store. I bought a set earth-ware coasters that I wanted for some time. They had the same price as online (Amazon). The coasters absorb liquid beverage sweat. In Florida that really does matter. LOL. Overall, I will return if I need any shipping services, or more coasters in the future. Christmas is coming after all. read more

Please ignore the negative ninnies on here because this store has done nothing but go above and beyond for our business. I never listen to the bad reviews and go on my own to get first hand experience and so glad I did with this one. We ship quite a bit with our business and most of what we do ship are expensive fragile pieces. We have used a couple of other pack and ship places and things just didn't work out and we were desperate to find someone that would care for our pieces just as much as we do... WE DID. Bobbi went above and beyond to make sure our first items were packaged properly and she even called to see if they made it ok!!! Not often do you find a service center like this one. I was being scammed for $20,500 by a boat buying company. I was surprised to see a negative review here of Bobbi's service. There must be something else going on with the reviewer. The only time to use a drop-box is if the carrier has already made their pick-up for the day. So if you need it overnight then you would have to use the drop-box. We have been using Bobbi's service for many years and never had a bad experience. My wife & I bet on who can guess the weight of our packages & Bobbi plays right along. She is always pleasant and efficient. I never go anywhere else for all my shipping needs. She also stocks her store with many unique items and the prices are always fair. Her greeting cards are more economical than any other place I shop. Keep up the good work Bobbi, you're awesome! read more

This is the WORST place ever!!! Don't ever send anything here! Bad costumer service ! The lady is so freaking Rude!, she wants to see what's inside ur package and that's not correct one thing is to know what's inside and another is want to see it! and also she only give you supplies if you actually send the package there cuz she wants to make sure she gets her money ahaha! This is my "go to" store. Not only do I send packages but I shop the unusual gift selection you just don't see everywhere. That's the part I like, finding beachy gifts I can send to my northern friends and relatives. The owner and employees are always friendly and give me the attention I'm looking for. Recently, they suggested I do a little more research on a product I was sending to make sure I wasn't being scammed. Thankfully, I listened. When I called to request a quote for scanning, the employee I talked to gave an attractive price. After driving 45 minutes to get there, I found the price quote was incorrect. The employee in the store refused to adhere to the price quote and made no effort to talk to the owner to honor the price. I emailed the owner to share the experience, asking for a reaction. I expected at least an apology for my trip and the incorrect quote. I got no response from her at all. This business needs better training of employees and much more responsive customer service. read more
