This is a mechanic. Not the same. Twice I have taken a car that they deemed a simple fix (once fixed it in 5 minutes) and used almost no mechanic time. They didn't charge me either of those times. Not sure why it took 4 full days to work on the car but they took that long which I had to rent a vehicle to take my kids to school, etc. I didn't let that be an issue even though it was, I was patient. Once I received the car back it starts making popping noises when turning the wheel and driving, the noise gets really bad at times and sounds like something is about to break off. Mind you, THIS NOISE AND ISSUE DID NOT EXIST BEFORE I received the car back. I even confirmed with NTB and their mechanics, which tested my vehicle and drove it prior to taking it to Billy Lowerys Automobile, that this noise and issue was not an issue and was non existent before taking it to Billy Lowerys Automotive. I took it back to NTB and they sent it back to Billy Lowerys, who took 4 freaking hours just to find the noise that NTB found in less than 30 minutes, I called them for an update on my car and I was told they would call me back since every single person there was on a 1 hour lunch break. after another 2 hours I call NTB and they tell me they have my car back?! so they didn't even have the professionalism to call me back the guy that owns the vehicle and paid for everything. Billy Lowerys told NTB that it was "wear and tear" on my driver side lower control arm and strut and that they both needed to be replaced. I don't understand how the lower control arm ALL OF THE SUDDEN has wear and tear while it was parked and being worked on? If the vehicle wasn't being driven around or nobody was joy riding my freaking car then there shouldn't have been any change in my lower control arms condition. Even common sense can tell you that. Why would the lower control arm suddenly mess up while its parked? CLEARLY Billy Lowerys is a rip off and they will f*ck your car up either from joy riding or just to get more money out of you. It is not a coincidence that I got my car back f*cked up after paying $1.7K for the replacement of my oil cooler and coolant flush. That's insane. I would stay way clear of this shop unless you want your car to get f*cked up. The lady on the phone is also very rude and unprofessional.

From the moment I arrived, Paul Gulski, one of the owners, was personable, professional, and thorough. He asked me to write down the problem in my own words, then explained that he would check the fuses, wiring, connections, and everything else before providing an update and quote. He also assured me that no work would begin until I approved the cost. I expected them to look at it later in the day, but Paul started diagnosing the issue as soon as I left. He found the problem quickly, called with an update, and completed the repair when promised. The final cost was extremely fair. What stood out most was how Paul treated me. He greeted me like a longtime friend. I was feeling anxious about how expensive the repair might be, and I happened to be wearing a shirt that said, "But Did You Pray?" Paul noticed it and prayed out loud. I immediately felt a sense of peace and was reminded that God takes care of us and that there is no reason to be anxious. Deer Park Automotive has earned my trust and is now my go-to place for auto repairs. You may have to fight me if you try to make me go anywhere else. I absolutely recommend them!
