Don't be fooled by how he assures you "you are my customer...". After meeting and interviewing…read moreseveral contractors, I decided to chose ASR Construction Group. His price quote was in the middle of the other contractors, he seemed knowledgeable and his convincing speech of "you are my customer" sold me. The workers are sloppy and quality of the work is unprofessional. The workers trampled the garden and killed all the flowers/plants in the front, there's paint splatter on the concrete fl, windows, brick surfaces and the awnings. Paint and cement scraps were tossed on my neighbor's property. There were chunks of wet cement that fell and eventually harden on the ground bc a garbage bag was used vs an actual fl covering. ASR Group had only 1 blue tarp that they barely used. Most of the time it was a black garbage bag the workers laid down when they were painting or when pointing the bricks. After I noticed multiple, obvious paint splatters, I requested the workers to pls use the tarp vs leaving it crumpled in the driveway. I was told "don't worry, we will clean once we are done". The job was completed 28 days ago, paid in full but the paint splatter is still permanently tattooed everywhere. On ASR Group's last day, I saw a new can of paint thinner (price tag still on) placed on the driveway. I didn't want to micro managed bc cleaning up the paint splatter was discussed and I was promised on several occasions it will be removed. The can of paint thinner was all show b/c none of the paint smears were removed. I didn't ck on the last day bc the concrete patio fl was painted and in the process of drying. I also trusted ASR Group would follow thru. The pointing work that was done is an embarrassment. The cement fillings between the bricks are thick, uneven, crooked and just plain ugly. Despite several heavy rainstorms, there is a film of dust that the house is covered in. The house now looks dingy and dirty. A thin cement edge that was applied to the bottom of the 3 brick post have ALL cracked and separated from the post. I noticed 1 of the separations while they were still on the job therefore it was fixed. I didn't notice the 2nd posting had separated till 2 days after the job was completed. I texted ASR Group and request he repair as well as remove the paint splatter. He came unannounced repaired the 2nd post and left w/o even speaking to or informing me. I was only informed that ASR stopped by when I texted and inquired on a scheduled date/time. ASR snuck on and off the property w/o any notice. Since all 3 of the cement edges have fallen off again in less then 20 days of the job being done, I had requested to meet, discuss the quantity of his work and remind him that I was still waiting for the paint splatter and smears to be removed. Additionally I was still waiting for some oil base paint. ASR came back unannounced again (I wasn't home) to drop off paint bc they deliberately chose to leave a spot between the patio railing and a brick post unpainted. When I inquired why the rusted, bare spot wasn't painted, ASR's response was, "the space is too small for us to paint. If we try there would have been paint all over your bricks and we don't want that". Excuse me but aren't you professionals, have you not experienced challenges during your past jobs and since I'm paying you good money is it not your job to figure out how to get the work done w/o getting paint on the bricks? ASR Group prefers to take short cuts, does what is convenient for them and does not have their customers best interest. It's understandable he's ashamed and doesn't have the courage to meet with me. If I cheated someone, I would avoid and ignored them as well. You do not have to believe what I'm saying. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Trust your own eyes and not what ASR Group has to say. Your eyes will not deceive you but ASR Construction Group will.

JOB: Paint livingroom & foyer, remove old baseboard & window moldings install new. Install 3 new doors. Run wires for TV, install wall mount & TV. Skim coat & paint bathroom. Tile over existing tile floor & reglaze tiles. Issues: Painting/molding- 1. Painting around light switch rather than removing as a professional would. (picture attached) 2. Incorrect paint finish used on bathroom walls which led to cracking & now has to be redone (picture attached) 3. Fail to sand bathroom door frame (picture) 4. Sloppy seams and excessive chalk used on new baseboard moldings (pictures) 5. Used cut baseboard molding for window molding rather than using what I showed him matching what was in my bedroom. TV- 1. Unaware of what wires to pull which lead me running to spectrum to find out. a. If a contractor accepts a job, it's reasonable to expect them to know how to fully complete not ask me in the middle of doing it. 2. Wanting to plaster around pulled HDMI cable after pulling it. What does one do if wire needs to be replaced break the wall? a. There are switch plates for this, I am a female who works in finance - how do I know this and not a professional contractor? 3. Multiple attempts to hang TV mount with no attempt to repair holes left. (picture) 4. Nail Damaged spectrum wire. After job was complete, had to have spectrum rerun a new wire. I removed old wire, repaired holes and painted. Damage to home- 1. Numerous scratches left on my wood floor (pictures) 2. Someone/ thing slammed into foyer light breaking inner light bulb, nearly got glass in my face when I removed it to clean. I find no joy in leaving a negative review however would not want someone else going thru what I did. **Updated in response to company** I had no intention on responding but my review was 100% honest, I can't say the same for the response. This is 100% a lie... "In regards to plastering around an hdmi cable, we simply asked if we should do so, so that there isn't a large plate on the wall or if they would like a plate installed. This has been done both ways and is simply a matter of preference. As shown in the picture, with holes behind the tv bracket, would love the opportunity to correct if allowed." You did not ask! I asked you and if I didnt you would have plastered around the wire. There was no option given you did not even have the plate to use. I had to run to Home Depot to get your crew the plate. Additionally you were given the opportunity to correct the holes as you were made aware prior to final day; you made the concious choice not to. This is a lie as well " The following day, the scratch was brought to our attention. Of course, this was very distressing and immediately offered to have the floors refinished." Per text On Friday 1/6 at 10:07am you advised " I can come back with golden oak and blend it in. It will still be slightly noticeable but not to someone not looking for it" I responded back on Friday 1/6 10:14am. I did not hear back until Monday at 10:57am but this time I had already went to home depot and made the best of situation left. To my knowledge golden oak and refinishing floors are not the same, moot point. I am sure you are capable of fanatastic work but that isn't what was provided to me. As you are aware there were other issues, missed paint spots that I had to touch up. The picture of molding is just one spot there were many. Wanting to tile around the toliet bowl. I can keep going and provide additional pictures.
