We typically use our membership for the Easter, Mother's Day, and Santa Brunch. We add in a 3-4 additional dinners through the year. The food is average and the service is completely hot or miss. Some of the seasoned wait staff is good. I can appreciate that they employ high school students for food running and busing but unfortunately it hurts the overall service experience as they really haven't been well trained or managed. It's an expensive country club and golf club so the expectation of good service is higher than a normal restaurant. We've decided to not renew our membership for 2026. It is not worth the membership fee and the food spend requirements.

Let's talk about it! ++ For the PGA Tour event, they laid out the course map as a ski hill. At first, it didn't make sense to me. Then, as we began our trudge upwards, I realized it was almost a play on the elevation gain/lost over the course. Oof! It was something. The other couple we were with struggled a bit with the steepness. I can only imagine how tough it was for some ++ Honestly, the other spectators were super polite and kind. Being my first golf-spectating experience, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was surprised with the level of courtesy. ++ You can tell that the grounds crew was nursing this course for a while, it was PRISTINE! The fairways were plush, the greens appeared smooth, and the additional features were just beautiful. ++ The box marshals were really kind and informative! I enjoyed the conversations we had about the course, improvements that were done, and the personal favorite holes. All in all, my experience at Castle Pine Golf Club was solid. While I'm not a strong enough golfer to play here, and my wallet is grateful to not be a member, it was fun to specialty experience!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is one of the best venues in Colorado. We researched and visited a LOT of…read morevenues, and are so glad we finally found Deer Creek. First of all, the venue itself is just gorgeous. The barn has a rustic feel while still being super nice and comfortable - there's heating, air conditioning, and real (nice) bathrooms! I didn't even realize that was something we would have to consider until we visited a dozen other venues that were more expensive with no on-site toilets. There are 2 ceremony sites to choose from. We chose the gazebo site, and the views were amazing. Our guests were mostly from out of town, and they could not stop raving about how gorgeous it was. Next to the gazebo, there is a well-kept field with yard games to play, and our guests had so much fun. The only downside to the barn is that if you have more than 100 or so guests, some will need to sit upstairs, and it is a bit isolated. However, we really only had people up there during dinner, so it was not an issue. We utilized the amazing outdoor fireplace patio for speeches and first dance, and although it was a little chilly (especially for August), there was such a cozy feel. The "Man Cave" is also an amazing bonus feature. We kept having to pull guests upstairs to dance because everyone just wanted to hang out downstairs and play games because it was so cool. The venue itself is amazing, but Lindsey, the Site Coordinator, was awesome to work with. She was super responsive and was always there to answer my questions. You can tell she really cares about her couples and just wants everyone's day to go as smoothly as possible. Deer Creek Valley Ranch definitely ticked all of the boxes we were looking for in a venue. The value is really great for what you get, and all of our guests were super impressed. If you want a Colorado rustic mountain feel with elegance fairly close to Denver, look no further.

Christian and her assistant, Sarah were so responsive and personable that made our planning process easy and actually fun even from a distance (we live in Chicago). They were organized, eager to help and gave lists of top of the line vendors to work with. Christian was welcoming and made us feel so comfortable on their Ranch. She even gave my wife a warm hug and calming words of advice on our wedding day. Deer Creek Valley Ranch will always hold a dear place in our hearts. I'll never forget the amazing sight of my wife coming over the Covered Bridge on a horse drawn carriage to marry me. Now I hear the place is even better now that their Man Cave is done! I hope we get to go back and visit again soon!

The club came back and was unable to satisfy my request and though the initiation fee paid to date covers the social member initiation fee - they requested that I pay the balance due on the full time membership before downgrading. The math does not make any sense and the fact that they are asking for a balance to a membership I will not be utilizing is just greed! I cancelled my membership and if they choose to come after me - so be it!

After coming off a poor experience with another CO golf club we decided not to go through with the membership, Pradera was a breath of fresh air & a sanity check about what a real country club should be like. Coming from CA, the first thing we appreciate is the bang for your buck you get as a Summit member at this club. For vastly less money, we have access to 2 country clubs, better food at both, & 2 courses that don't look like they're one drought day away from being a sea of dead grass. When we signed up for our membership they even gave us a deal where we got a couple months free! I know my husband will say the golf was the most important factor for him in a club but it was the food for me. The menu's are not snooty & boring like our old club; we have a ton of fun choices & everything tastes fantastic everytime. I also love the clubhouse; it reminds me of the Grand Californian Hotel in Disneyland. We also love the course which is kept beautifully. The staff here are also SO genuinely nice & helpful. If I had two small knitpicks it would be that I wish there were more fruity cocktail options on the menu & that it was easier to get out onto the golf course (Summit membership helps mitigate this last one a lot). They hold so many tournaments on the weekends in the summer that it's hard to get out there & it books up fast regardless. However, just goes to show how beloved the course is!
