My husband played golf here when we vacationed to Denver last week. I rode along in the cart to enjoy the view! It was incredibly beautiful! And he had a great time playing golf. We had hot dogs from the clubhouse and they were huge and quite tasty. We were there during a heat wave so it was 104 degrees when he started playing at 3:40. The price is a bit too high for the course condition. The views are stunning and the staff was pleasant. That being said, hitting off grass mats on the range is unacceptable at this price point. There were many fairways with missing turf. The pace of play was just ok. Over $500.00 for two players was about 100 per player too much. The views were absolutely stunning so I can see paying a bit more but not more than double the rate of a comparable course. I am not trying to bash the place but it is what it is. The bar and wait staff were so friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed their house pepper pickle shots! The most beautiful course I've ever played on. Did a team event with a 4 person scramble and it was amazing. The rental clubs they give you are easily a $2000 bag with a $300 spider putter. The only negative thing I have to say is the driving range tops out at 180 yards so no practicing your driver. read more

Arrowhead GC provides some stunning red rock views in the background. I happened to secure a single tee-time and got paired with 11 guys who were in town on a guy's golf trip. These guys were awesome and great players. I was the last group of four and the course was in good condition, fairways were decent and greens rolled true. Price of the round matched the quality of the course and pace of play was great, finished in 4.25 hours. All the guys in the group waited on 18 for our last group and I think someone in the first group won all the money, lol! Clubhouse was small but the patio dining area was a good size to have food and drinks and watch the players tee off on #10. Course is challenging but not difficult, fairways were wide and rough was demanding. Used all the clubs in the bag and lost only one ball on the course. Hole #5 is a great view hole with red rocks surrounding tee shot and green. Hole #14 is a great hole dog-leg right and over a lake. Hole #17 Par 3 downhill is a great fun hole! read more

This is a Bucket List course. Iconic golf course that meanders through the Morrison Red Rocks formation in Littleton Colorado. Bring your A game because it will test yours. Easy to be distracted with all the amazing views at every turn. Tricky greens and some tight fairways. High elevation tee boxes and water comes into play on a few holes as well. Popular course so book a couple weeks out. Staff is super nice, beer cart on the course and full service restaurant. read more

Arrowhead is a great place for just about anytime! I don't golf but enjoy the clubhouse. The views are incredible, and it's quaint and generally uncrowded. Great place to catch a game and a drink, and their food menu is enticing for a date night. They often have themed evenings, including bourbon tasting, game night, etc. The service is always off the charts, and the food is generally good too. We tried the crab cakes, and crab mac and cheese, and both were out of this world. We decided we needed to make this a more regular thing! Cheers! read more

We played the Arrowhead Golf Course today. The course was spectacular and the views are amazing! However, during our 18 hole round, we never saw the cart girl once. We were told at the end of our round that they had two girls out on the course -REALLY? We even stopped at the restroom to get water and the drinking fountain was out of order. For the amount paid for a round of golf at this course, I would expect better service. We are avid golfers and have played all over the world. This by far is the worst service we have ever experienced and it is also very unsafe to not have water available throughout the course! read more

If you want to play this course on the weekend, make sure to clear your whole day schedule. Expect to play at least 6 hours on the weekend unless you tee off very early morning. When we played, it took 5hrs to play up to14 holes and the pace of round was 6hrs and 30min. We couldn't finish the round because of the flight to catch. Based on other players while we were waiting each holes, they were saying it may take up to 5hrs and 30min to finish the round. This course is for travelers. We paid $225 per players. Does it worth to pay that much for the round? No. The scenery is beautiful and red rocks are amazing. We thought that this would be the one of golf course we ever played, but ruined by pace of round. Even though it is beautiful golf course, we don't think we would play again. read more

Beware of Deceptive Practices and False Advertising In December 2023, we inquired about a 2024 wedding and were sent pricing information that stated Arrowhead offered Saturday buy-outs priced at one site fee plus two food and beverage minimums. This was very specifically laid out in the packet we were e-mailed and handed on January 4th, 2024. After taking a tour with Lindsay at the club, and asking about the renting out both sites, she stated she wasn't sure if they were doing that anymore. It's hard to say what goes into these things, and it's a sad thing to have to mention, but it was very obvious Lindsay was staring at my fiancée's engagement ring the entire time. After spending a few minutes "in the back" talking to her event director Kyle Bryant, he introduced himself (after asking if we just got off work for wearing scrubs) and then went on a very tacky tirade about Arrowhead's popularity. Specifically, he stated they've had 100+ leads lately and despite being sent pricing that stated it was one fee and two minimums for a buyout, the corporate team (Arcis Golf) would rather leverage that demand and make more money (ie no longer offer buyouts with the advertised price structure). He stated the only way to do a buy was then going to be DOUBLE the site fee plus double the F&B. The entire speech was incredibly tasteless. Imagine taking the time off to visit a venue (as many people do travel for these things) and being told, hey if you don't like this new price structure it's fine we have plenty of people who want to get married here. I can't imagine why anyone would think it's appropriate to speak to clients that way. Furthermore, their own 2024 pricing sheet they handed us on the day of our visit stated one site fee, two food and beverage minimums. When I asked Kyle and Lindsay why they aren't using the same pricing they sent us originally, they kept stating that my originally inquiry in September was for 2023 but they weren't doing that for 2024. The General Manager at Arrowhead, Charles Packard, stated that the e-mail I received in December shows the pricing and that's the one they were using. So again, if that's what they were advertising to us, why change it after meeting us? I spoke with Jennifer Franklin from Arcis Golf. She stated very adamantly that in their line of work, prices fluctuate, and they're allowed to change them at anytime. I again asked why they would lure us there with pricing, hand it again to us in person during the tour, then change it during the same tour? She again stated that is their right to change the prices as anytime. Conveniently, after I pointed out their 2024 pricing stated that for buy outs it was one site fee and two food and beverage minimums, they have since removed that wording from their brochure. You all have many choices when looking at venues. I imagine you would expect clear and transparent pricing, particularly in the days leading up and including your tour. Kyle, Charles, and Jennifer's attitude and philosophy towards prospective clients portrays a company focused on greed rather than fulfilling their advertised pricing. Their stance that pricing can change at any moment deceived me as a consumer. That type of business practice (changing after meeting clients) does nothing to protect you from being judged on your ability to absorb some type of upsell. I would not visit Arrowhead unless they sent you a proposal in writing before you visited. Otherwise, know it can change at anytime. read more

BEST GOLF COURSE IN DENVER! Wow, I usually leave saying I hate golf and when I completed 18 holes here, I actually left falling in love with golf! The views are unbeatable and leaving without pictures is a sin. All 18 holes are do-able for beginner to elite levels. The tee times INCLUDE a cart which honestly is such a great price for the value you receive here. You are treated like royalty here from the friendly staff hard working staff. This is a beautiful course! You can't beat the views especially if you're out of state. Grounds are well maintained and you'll see some hawk, rabbits and deer as you golf. 4 stars only because the food was not ideal, I could barely finish my brat because it tasted bland and the bread was stale. We had played Ravenna next door before & I thought it would just be a similar red rocks course. Not even close; I've never played any course as gorgeous as this. The red rocks are epic &, unlike Ravenna, they are visible for the entirety of your round. Whether up close or looking at the rocky spikes from far away, they are breathtaking. Because of all of the above & because of my experiences playing public courses in our old home state, my brain could not reconcile the fact this was a public course. Everything is well maintained, clean, & the staff were all very nice & quick on their feet. The only negative would be the super long pace of play. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our time thoroughly, & unlike a lot of courses we've played recently, there were actually staff on carts watching all the holes. I'm not really sure how you fix the pace when they are clearly making an effort, but it's definitely the only thing holding this place back from perfection. This review is as a guest at a wedding here. We were in the Club House event room for the wedding reception, with the actual wedding ceremony being outside. Despite it being February, the weather ended up perfect - warm during the day with snow in the background for that perfect wedding photo. I thought things went pretty smoothly overall. The staff working the wedding were nice - especially the bartender. I have no idea how much it costs to have a wedding here, so can't comment on value. While the outdoors view is pretty, the reception hall itself is pretty dated and not very decorative - I think the wedding party brought all the decorations. The food wasn't that great either, but you're really paying for the gorgeous view of photo opportunities. read more

This place is pretty majestic. Unlike many other golf courses with the cool rock formations. The bank nine is really fun to play. You'll keep catching yourself as you stand in awe taking in the views. Came here while I was on a business trip and would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't visited. Only downside is that I found the club rental to be pretty pricey. I called ahead of time and they told me it would be $75 for the set. Decided to rent a set from PGA superstore not too far from my hotel for $30/day. Also wish the driving range were a little longer as you're not allowed to use driver. read more

Last weekend I went to California and golfed four rounds in four days, one would think that should suffice for a while, but the golf itch returned immediately once I landed in Colorado. The Colorado winter this year has been fantastic, I was able to book a round last Sunday, with the temperatures hovering around 70 degrees. Who would think that golfing in Colorado in the middle of winter would be possible. I arrived early and checked in the pro-shop and found out that the green fees include complimentary range balls and tees. When I came out, the golf cart staff grabbed my golf bag and carried it over to the cart, which had my name on it. A nice touch for a semi public course. Once I was finished with my round the staff was there to wipe my blades down and asked if I need help to my car. The course itself is simply amazing, with each hole offering a challenge and picturesque views. Their signature hole has a view like no other with the tee box on a cliff. The bloody colored monoliths protruding from the ground throughout the golf course were spectacular. I was a single paired with a threesome of golfers, who had handicaps in the sub-teens, so we played from the back tees, making the course that much more challenging. For winter conditions the fairways and greens were in decent shape, but weren't the plush green that one would experience in the summer. Can't complain, very lucky to golf in the winter months. This was the first golf course I played in Colorado, and what a treat it was, a beautiful golf course that one must try. Make sure to bring your "A" game or the golf course will punish you! read more

Came to Denver for a golf getaway with family and friends. Played a great course on Thursday and another on Friday. Saved what I thought would be the best for our final day on Friday. Paid $178 each for the round, but could only get in 9 holes because the pace of play was so slow. It took nearly 3 hours to get through nine holes. Never saw a Marshall on the course to speed up play. After nine, we went into the clubhouse to express our frustrations. The staff in the pro shop were less than sympathetic. They blamed a couple of slow groups that teed off hours before we did. Beautiful course, but very poorly run. They do not care about the golfers' experience. If you come to Denver to play golf, skip Arrowhead and play Bear Dance instead. read more

5 stars for location and beauty 0 stars for service, and poor tee time management. The course is absolutely spectacular- we played a 2pm tee time on a Sunday. The greens are fast, and the fairway is kept in marvelous condition. However, we had a very bad experience with the course staff. We were a twosome, and in front of the speedy foursome in front of us were 3 foursomes of very, very slow players. They were supposedly playing for "big money" as they told the foursome in front of us. We often waited 15 minutes or more to tee off. For a $100 per person green fee, one would have hoped the pace of play would be quick - alas, through 4 hours of golf (2-6pm), we were only able to play 14 holes. We never saw a field marshal, and when at the turn the pro shop essentially told us (and the foursome in front of us) to enjoy our "leisurely" game. After deciding to abandon the final 4 holes, I spoke to the gentleman in the pro shop. After complimenting the condition of the course, I requested that field marshals periodically go out to aid the pace of play. I was told "I'm glad you had a nice time". Very helpful. Won't be playing here again, which is a shame - the natural beauty of the place cannot be overstated. read more

Two stars for the beauty of the course, offset by zeros for customer service. Unbeknownst to us, our twosome was paired on a Friday morning with two women and a six year old who wanted to hit balls on almost every hole. It didn't slow the pace of play much because, I'm sure you know, it's going to be a 5+ hour round under the best of circumstances. But nobody needs to be roped into a noisy erratic babysitting exercise on a golf course when booking a Friday morning tee time and paying top rates. We weren't asked if that would be ok. As for the other aspects of customer service, I dropped off my wife and the clubs and when I returned from parking the car the attendant, who was doing absolutely nothing, was pointing toward our cart and telling my wife where SHE could put the clubs. You might think this is because of the virus, but another attendant carried the clubs over for the others in the group and set them up on their cart. We asked if there were towels available. No towels. We asked if we could have a cart key to head to the driving range but were told we had to walk to the range. That might have been something people might like to know, just like the fact that only irons can be hit on the range. But no, that information is there for you to discover on your own. And, finally, when we complained about the pairing, we got shrugs. I understand the game of golf needs to attract younger players. There are places and programs for that, and they don't take place on Friday mornings when everyone else is paying high green fees. So if you are looking for a scenic course, this is great. But if you are looking for a place that knows how to run a golf program, this place ain't it. Expect to be annoyed. read more
