You must first watch a 10 minute instruction video of the range rules. We were quoted over an hour wait, but really only waited about 30 mins. Price for the day of shooting is 25.00, but we were only there for the final step. There are about 7 lanes here. It's very loud when everyone is shooting at the same time. Guys up front were nice and parking is in the back. All in all I'd visit again. They also have rental guns if you should so need one. I think ammo is about 25.00 from what I heard him tell someone.

Excellent experience…read more I've only ever shot on state lands and on my own property, but I recently moved to this area and no longer have land. I didn't know what to expect and was hesitant about going to a range but was very comfortable shooting here. The rates are reasonable and the people here are wonderful. This time was way different. Upon approaching the desk and announcing that I wanted to use the range. I was asked if I had a black card. Not sure what that is for. They checked if I was in their database because I said that I had been there before. I am not sure how I feel about being in anyone's database. Signing a range safety brief and waiver for a range is a normal thing but the video they have you watch is tailored to newer shooters. They list only three safety rules when everyone knows there are four standard range safety rules (four for the last 30 years of using ranges). The video repeats itself many times, like I said it is for newbies. Then it came time to fill out the waiver. The standard range language was in there. Then a section on COVID as if that is any concern at the range. I suppose a waiver like this should be used at every restaurant as well. Filling out my information at the end of the waiver I stopped to ask if they needed my email. I was told it was to send the waiver to me. I asked why they needed my address. All these data points are marked as required. I stopped and left because no gun range needs to collect my personal information and add it to a database. Buyer beware this place has a new policy of collecting your information and admittedly entering that information in a database. Their explanation is that lawyers make them do it. I say that you should go anywhere else that does not require your address and put you in a database. In an age of illegal immigrants that nobody has addresses for this is a warning sign.

It was the most relaxing atmosphere to shoot, no pressure, no one was being judgmental or pretentious. I just moved to NC, and am so happy to have this range near my house. Perhaps some of my review is about the shooters as the facility. I felt VERY welcome.

The range was taken over by his daughter, a lovely person, and the operation has been largely cleaned up. The old dilapidated buildings have been replaced with descent structures. Much of the improvements has been provided voluntarily by the club. Safety is our motto!

Ben (owner) has spent a couple hours with me on sighting guns and techniques and suggestions for improvement. Nice people all around in the shop and the range is clean, cool and expectations are set on day 1 for conduct and safety. They have monthly, semi annual and annual memberships for range that keep the cost of a session very inexpensive if you are a frequent shooter.
