Me and my boyfriend was searching for the best place for getting ears pierced and decided on Classic 13 because of there reputation and high ratings on Yelp. Since no appointment was needed, we came shortly after they'd open. The piercing process wasn't as bad as I had thought and it felt more like a pinch on the skin. Logan did a phenomenal job on making my experience a pleasant one and I surely recommend this place for anyone who's looking to get their first piercing.

I went here to get a tattoo for $13 on their Friday the 13th special. When I arrived, there was…read moreonly one person ahead of me, so I thought I would quickly be in and out. Me and the other person sat there for at least an hour before he went back. The artist could have been working on a piece back there, I don't know. By that time, the waiting area was pretty much full. The artist came up front a couple of times and asked everyone again what they were getting, when everyone had told the girl at the front desk already, so that was confusing and took up a lot of time. Then, after I had been there for about 2 hours, another artist came in. Instead of starting to help with the people who had been there for hours, he started on the people that came in once he got there. Meaning, I had been there for several hours and hadn't gone back and a guy had been there for 10 minutes and went back and was in and out. One girl came in wanting a piercing and she immediately went back and got it done, that was while the waiting area was full of people who had been there for hours. Finally when I was called back 3 hours later, the artist was in absolutely no hurry to actually start tattooing me. He went in and chatted with the other artist and had me sit when the stencil ink on for 15+ minutes to let it dry. As someone who has several tattoos, I would think this tiny tattoo could have taken 10, 15 minutes tops for me to go back there and then be done. I was there for a total of 4 hours. He also sent me home with no bandage or any after care instructions, which I thought was unusual. I literally walked out of there with blood dripping down my arm. Overall, It was just very unorganized and I'm pretty sure most of the people who were after me ended up leaving due to it taking so long. I know I shouldn't expect much from a $13 tattoo, but if they're going to run a special like that, I would think they would be prepared with more than one artist. I hate to be someone to write a bad review as I never do this, but I just wanted to hopefully help someone else out.

I couldn't believe my luck when the signed edition was the same price as any other unsigned copy. I had stumbled upon a treasure trove of fantastic books all signed by their authors selling for the standard list price. Of course they have some extra special books that are collectors items and a bit more expensive. Those are featured on a different part of their website. Today I opened my signed copy of Jon Meacham's "And There Was Light". It's the perfect gift for book reading friends. One day I plan to make a pilgrimage to the store and actually shop in person. Until then I will continue to receive their emails and check their website.
