My boyfriend is a woodworker and I've definitely seen some indivual unique pieces here. There is some pretty amazing metal sculpture art. Particularly loved the ones hiding in the bushes out front. What really drew me into the store was the cat figures, available in multiple colors the cats were in a sitting meditation pose (You can also view the art on their Website) Although they ranged in many different sizes I found the small ones rather affordable at 20 dollars each. even if your not an art collector or you find it too expensive for your tastes I recommend this place as rather decently priced... and I've traveled and worked in many historic "quaint" towns. My boyfriend found the most amazing colorful socks that was uniquely mismatched and made in the U.S. there was no questioning that he had to have them. other things I found myself very fascinated with, the clocks, glass and woodwork combinations, jewelry and the wood framed sand/water bubble turners. Located on the corner of Fairfax street and just along the main drag of town directly across the State Park. This place is worth checking out every time you visit. We were happily greeted upon entering the store this past Saturday and highly look forward to returning next time we pass through town. While street parking is also easy in most areas, if you wish to park very close to the store I recommend you bring a good chunk of Quarters to use the 2 hour parking meters outside. You get 30 minutes per quarter so its not too expensive as far as meters go. It is also may be wheel chair accessible as the front door had a small ramp that winded around the corner. However it is of course a small store to begin with.

This shop is everything you're hoping it to be and more…read more Need some funky pens? Tiny tea cups? Funny socks? Jewelry? Vintage clothes? Books? They've got it all. It's certainly a smaller shop but it is jampacked with magical things. My boyfriend and I probably spent at least half an hour in here just wandering around. We both ended up buying some things to take back home. It was just definitely a fun little spot to explore while in Shepherdstown. I hope this place stays around for a very long time because I'd love to visit again someday.

Local barn sale, next to the civil war hospital…read more.. Has a lot of old cast iron, armed forces photos, and all kinds of rustic old treasures. In particular, their old barrels and baskets are great for decorating, and they have a lot of old mirrors and frames as well. A few other things I saw- Old blue ball jars, lamps, even some nicer pieces of furniture, this is a true barn sale- perfect for diggin. Great local gem, worth the ride out on a nice day...

Great little antique store on a side street across from the hardware store…read more Owner is super nice, has a great selection of tools and super old items. My favorite finds were a Coca Cola advertising mold for $65, old marbles for $10 a bag, and a petite chandelier-ornate and in great condition- for $150. Also saw some very cool old clay marbles and a super old bullet press. Will definitely return.
