We were in the back and looking at the kids stuff for our nephews when I saw a kids shirt that I thought was adorable and reasonably priced. However, I wanted to look the manufacturer and took out my phone. Right when i took my phone out - before I had even unlocked it - the women managing the store came up to me and asked me what I was doing. I distractedly explained that I was just looking up the company that made the shirt and before I could think much about the question she said "So, you're not interested in purchasing it?" Before I could even respond - particularly because I was confused by the question since I WAS interested - she literally grabbed the shirt out of my hand and hung it back up. I was honestly in a state of shock and my friend, who was horrified, and I left immediately. I was most likely going to purchase that shirt and my friend and I had even talked about how we needed to come back. The experience I had today was so off-putting and surreal that I will be sure to never go back. And others should be aware.

She is not plus size and the sz larges fit her just fine. Saw them do and say something similar to another woman who was a sz 10. I approached the owner and said that was inappropriate to approach anyone to tell them they were too large for their dresses and not to tear them. They said the dresses were from Hong Kong and they didn't fit like American dresses. They were just protecting their merchandise and why would I get upset. I get that people can be destructive but seriously we were not trying on the extra smalls- the larges fit . Telling us once was enough but they kept coming back to make sure the clothing was still intact! Wish I could give this place a negative stars.

Sea Bags *Maine* was the only place where the sales lady was welcoming and polite. She chatted with me and made me feel better about the entire trip. I was having a private QUIET whispering conversation with my fiancé about items in the store and seeing which one he liked for a set of earrings. The man behind the counter chimes into said conversation by saying, "yeah that piece is so nice" Annoyed--so i put back the earring and proceed to the small display of rings. just staring at them. He again says" we have that moonstone ring over here as well in other colors and in gold and in many sizes--he kept pushing and pushing the item no matter what angle you said that you weren't interested or were looking for something different. Again we move to another part of the store and the woman hollers out for us to go up stairs and how amazing it is up there. 'I reply, we've already been up stairs" This was our cue to leave. I'm sorry -- THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. you're trying wayyyy to hard to be something you're not. Leave the hippy bit for someone else.
