I'm updating my previous review from 2 stars to 5 stars for the location in Orange because they were great about resolving the billing issue within a few days. They took full responsibility and clarified that I should have only paid the co-pay. My previous notes on the cleanliness and modernity of the facility still stands because it's great and the staff is adequately friendly. I would say if you aren't sure about what you'll be charged, or if you're confused, just continue to ask questions or ask to speak to a manager until you're satisfied with your understanding. I think they honestly want to do right by people, so I don't think you'll have any issues there. read more

The office was very clean and bright. The front office and back office staff were very nice and welcoming. I have been struggling with skin issues (eczema, cysts or boils, itchiness etc) for over a decade and gone to several dermatologists over the years. It got to the point where I stopped seeking medical help because every dermatologist would come in the room for 3 seconds, not listen to a word I say, give me some steroid cream and send me on my way. Then I'd get about a dozen mystery medical bills over the next 6 months. Fast forward to the present time; my wife has had enough of watching these skin problems reoccur, so she made me an appointment here at Sand. Staff was very polite and we were able to get in the same day. Dr. Sand came in and asked me several questions, explained a couple possible scenarios, and ultimately executed a solid strategy to eliminate these issues and rebuild my skin so I can cure this crusty disaster of an epidermis. He performed a quick and relatively painless surgery, wrote down my person skin remedy manuscript, and told me to call any time if I have any questions. Pricing was clear and more than fair. I really appreciate the fact that Dr. Sand dedicated the time to hear me out completely and follow up with an epic dose of knowledge. I was skinlightened. I loooooooove this doctor. Honest and super kind and funny. Staff is polite/welcoming at both offices. Chino hills and orange. Doctor tries to help out with whatever you need or want done. He is a MALE version of pimple popper. i definately recommend this doctor because he is knowledgeable and helps you try to expedite services. I did several extractions and doing more. Doesnt reroute me when i want a stronger medication because of previous attempts... He accomodates my need for sooner services and overall he helps me achieve my wants and gives honest comments to conditions and lets me know if something is new to him rather than being cocky about his perspective. Also, he does not give off the weird vibe to feel uncomfortable. He is professional. And his practice is very clean and there is nothing hygenically unsafe here because every tool used is all brand new products and all opened new with every patient. Good text/email reminders placed. He is the best dermatologist that I have found for my son and for me. He has dedication and excellent care with his patients. I was searching for a dermatologist for adult acne. I found Dr Sand in Chino Hills. However, that location is always booked, and the earliest appointment I could get was 1.5 months later. Receptionist told me about his another office in Orange has more appointments. So I went to Orange location, and I was able to see him 2 days after I called. His office is located in an old medical complex, but don't get fool by that. His office is newly remodeled. It is modern and clean. During my appointment, he prescribed me oral and topical medication that is eligible for my health insurance. He truly cares about his patient, and he does not overcharge any unnecessary service. I was really pleasant by his knowledge and patience. I recommend him to everyone who is looking for an acne dermatologist. read more

Went in to see Dr. Pham for the first time about my acne. Left the appointment not very satisfied. It felt rushed; she simply looked at my skin and told me what she was recommending without actually talking to me about the medications or my skin/routine. This is probably ideal if you're looking for a quick in-and-out consultation with a quick prescription, but personally, I prefer to learn more about my skin and have questions about potential side effects or simply regular questions regarding the products I use.
