Hubby and I have been here three times for seven days each visit since 2022 and absolutely love Sand Pebble!!!! The staff is excellent, tell Charlie we said hello. It's in a perfect spot close to good food and shopping and only 20 minutes from fort de Soto. Last time we were there we were able to save 5 baby sea turtles and guide them safely to the water. A friend of mine owns a timeshare here that has been in her family for years, but I just recently got to visit with her. I guess it seemed a little crazy to go to a timeshare just down the street to where I live, but I now get the perks. Not gonna lie, I still wouldn't see the point of owning a timeshare just a few miles down the street from where I live (her family) but they have owned multiple units for so long they get to enjoy a stayacation while getting all the resort perks throughout the year. Yup, this one let's you use their parking, the use of the pool and the private access to the beach, which is located in the less commercialized areas so you don't have to worry about all the tourists... okay, just a little who are staying there but nothing like Clearwater (close to where I live). You still need to check in and get parking passes so don't get any ideas of just parking here and using the amenities, you'll need a wrist band like everywhere else but it is nice to have a connection here to enjoy lazy days! read more

Stayed here with our time share. Friendly staff at check in who were happy to recommend local places and advised against grocery shopping on the island. Drive the 10 mins or so to Publix and save some $$. We have a studio, which has a Murphy bed which is actually quite comfortable. Not a ton of room but don't need to stay in the room much either. Fridge works well - haven't tried the stove or oven, which are quite old. Good beach access but no beach towels provided, which is a little odd considering I'm not going to pack one. Resort is well located and easy walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. Easy to get on and off the island as well. Biggest issue I've had is a huge group here that descends on the pool, brings a large portable speaker, and cranks it up. Forget trying to relax by the pool or the hot tub in the evening. For the points we spent not a bad deal. Probably would come back if other options aren't available / economical. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my week stay at Sand Pebble Resort in Treasure Island, FL. Check-in was a breeze and the lady who checked us in was very helpful. We booked the efficiency room which was small but was perfect for us. The kitchen includes every utensil we needed to cook throughout the week. The efficiency room does not include a dishwasher so any dishes we used we had to clean by hand, which was not an issue for us. The efficiency room is a studio style room with a Murphy bed which was SO comfortable. As for the location, you really couldn't get any better. It is right on the beach and is walking distance to many restaurants. Sand Pebble exceeded all of my expectations. The cleanliness, the location, and the price will definitely make me come back soon. read more

The resort is nice. It's simply with everything you need to have a wonderful trip. We own time share here. We got it because this is my favorite beach spot. Yet they don't have bathrooms at the beach. So we bought time share here so we can use the pool,hot tub,and bathrooms all year long. The unit we own is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms oceanfront it spacious, updated with a Awesome view They have plenty of parking and if you are a owner you can use it all year long. The views are spectacular the pool in the hot tub are great and the beach out front is one of the best anywhere in Florida with white sand and beautiful water. We sometimes her look enough to get an RCI exchange here but beware of renting a one-bedroom with no view because you will not have access to the air conditioning controls when you get a two bedroom you're guaranteed to get a great view and the control of the air-conditioning unit- they also on another resort down the road called the island gulf it's on Madeira Beach and that's a much smaller place but possibly a better choice if you want to only stay with a few people. They don't have a pool there they have a hot tub but you can come to this resort if you're staying there and use the pool. read more

Nice location. Nice beach area. Unit #201. We were told by an owner that our unit was the worst of all the units that still needed to be remodeled. Putrid smell when we opened door. Not a mold smell something undescribable. Bought candles and febrese, sliding door open and much as we could. It helped a little. Carpet felt moist all the time. Old furnishings. Very dirty. Bathrooms didn't look like they had been cleaned. Hair on floors. Cockroaches. Needs a total remodel immediately. Balcony was nice but furniture was broken. I was disturbed at how dirty everything was. This is a timeshare resort. The people here are owners not some joe off the street. If the table is not clean and the microwave is not clean and the sliding glass doors are not clean guess what I'm going to look at everything. I was told the maids can't clean everything. Well it didn't look like they cleaned anything. The staff is held to a very low standard and the management wasn't any better. read more

My family and I have been coming here since the early 1990's. We love it here! The rooms are always clean and well maintained. They have two pools. A large one and a small one that is perfect for children. There is also a hot tub. One of the best things about Sand Pebble is the it is right on the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is beautiful white sand that is very fine and soft. The views of the Gulf from the rooms are great. They have daily activities including the "get acquainted" party on Monday afternoon. It is a great place to take your family to enjoy some fun in the sun. read more

Although this is a nice resort, be careful when booking a condo. We had stayed here before and we were very pleased. However, this time, we were given a unit that was made up by combining two of the unused bedrooms in a three bedroom condo (we paid for an ocean front condo and received the equivalent of Motel -6.... no view, no balcony, and no stove )! Needless to say, we are not happy about the accommodations. Definitely not going to come back! !!!! read more

Ran dow & out dated. As soon as I checked in somebody was in the lobby complaining about their room was dirty as soon as they got there already a red flag. I went up to my room found out my room wasn't as clean as it should be ( Sand all over the floor, meaning they did not sweep or mop, foot prints in the bathtub, crumbs on the stove, dirty dishes in the cabinet ) either decided not to complain because I figured they were having a hard time already downstairs. After we check out and do everything that were supposed to such as fill the dishwasher take out the trash make sure everything is put back in place nothings broken and everything was done is it should. Of course I get a call saying they're going to charge me because I forgot to take out the bathroom trash... I apologize so much Sand Pebble for not taking Out the one trash can, when room keepers can't even simply do their job. Just looking for money to charge somebody because it's outdated and ran down like I said in the beginning. read more

The location is great but the resort itself is is beyond dated and tired. Booked this resort thru a Interval International exchange and I can't tell you how extremely disappointed we were. It started out in the "reception area" which looked like a closet with a bunch of crap thrown in. Nothing very welcoming. The hallways were depressing and a little scary. We opened the door to our room and the PUTRID smell of filth and old tobacco smoke overwhelmed us. We had booked this room for a week and came from a long distance so we tried to stay at the resort. Bought an air freshener which only made matters worse. We stayed 2 nights and that was all we could take. We had a child with us with allergies and she was starting to flare up. If you have allergies or respiratory issues you probably should not stay here. In the elevators signs were posted regarding foreclosed units which we thought was pretty tacky. Absolutely nothing polished about this resort which is a shame due to its location. The pool was like a built-in that you would have in your backyard. The "kiddie" pool was the old hot tub/spa. If you are accustomed to staying at a Westin, Marriott, Hilton etc. timeshare you will NOT be happy here. read more

We stayed last week in a two bedroom condo with a beautiful view, except we were right above the pavilion. It was probably the most noisy condo we have ever stayed in. The first night we had to call security because people were in the adult spa drunk and screaming! Then the spa was closed for the rest of the entire week we were there! The second night there was a party of people at the pavilion and they were drunk and cursing so loud we had to close the doors and turn up the tv to keep our grandchildren from hearing such language! It was altogether a pretty good room, could use some updates but it is right on the beach so the family loved that. read more

My review of Sand Pebble would say everything that Scott E said on 5/13/2014. My family has had a 2 bedroom time share here for almost 30 years. The staff is very friendly and they keep it very clean. This is one of the few timeshares I've seen that are owner occupied (but there are some rentals available through the association or if an owner elects to spend their week elsewhere). We get the exact same unit, the same week, every year. We always know what to expect. They are constantly making improvements and upgrades. The pools and jacuzzi are nice and the beach is just beyond them. There are several activities offered throughout the week. John's Pass is a short walk away and offers restaurants, shops, boat/jet ski rentals, parasailing, and so much more. If you are lucky enough to get an opening here, jump on it. But there are the "lock out" rooms as mentioned in Dana V's review on 8/6/2015. I've only heard of people getting these in a timeshare exchange. If you request a beach front condo directly from the front desk during your reservation request, you will get a beach front condo. read more
