I've seen it, yet never participated in it. Let me tell you. It's cool and very fun. Danielle and Michael are the owners, they go out of their way to ensure your enjoyment and satisfaction. My son and I felt like family when we were there. Michael and Danielle work very hard to provide a safe environment and explain in detail how to get the most out of your time. We would never have found this business if not for the cancellation of a birthday present we planned for our son. After calling and speaking with Danielle, she was very empathetic and sympathetic about our situation. I could not have found a better option for my son and I than VX Arcade. For those who don't know what a…read morepaint and sip is (a lot don't)- basically a business, like Painting With A Twist, has paint classes everyday where you pay admission per person and each class you are taught step by step how to create a specific painting. If you are of age, you have the option of bringing alcohol to sip as you paint, but you totally don't have to. Some places provide the alcohol, but this specific location at least is byob (bring your own beer). Seriously, even if you aren't an artistically inclined or creative person taking a painting class can still be a ton of fun. My dad is not artistic at all, doesn't have an artistic bone in his body really and he knows it, and he still had a ton of fun in the class and learned a lot. Plus, you have an instructor who walks you through how to paint small step by small step, and if you have questions they walk around and will help you correct things as well, so you really have as much guidance as you want, or not. As our hilarious instructor Scott said, "This is FUN art, not FINE art." I mean, wow, color me impressed!…read more The VR experiences here are expensive but 100% worth it! The 5 of us did the Space Marine/Warhammer 40k experience and it was incredible! It was, indeed, very low-latency! The freedom of movement in the worlds was liberating. This felt more like the best version of paintball or capture the flag or hide-and-seek more than it felt like a video game. There were definitely some kinks the staff were working out since this place is so new (the beer taps weren't working initially, we got stuck/glitched at a certain section of the experience) but the friendly staff worked them all out. To top it all off you get a fun video that shows what badasses you look like in VR and also what dumbasses you look like outside of VR. I can't wait to go back! (I tried to go a second time but it was like herding cats and then I had to fly back to Alaska)
