This evening at my mom and I decided to stop at the bar bar, which is a little local friendly neighborhood mini golf course along with life-size, hockey, sack, ping-pong, and an awful lot of fun. They are a bar so they have cocktails, seltzers, beers, and wine on tap. They also have indoor seating as well as four different TVs with different games playing on them; my mom and I had so much fun we played hackey sack toss. I had a happy Thursday seltzer for $6.50 and my mom had a black widow outsider for $6.50. If you haven't been here, I definitely recommend it. They do have parking however there's only about six different parking spaces however, parking office central Avenue is free. 10/10 read more

Par Bar will always have a special place in my heart. It's where my boyfriend and I had our first date, and we just recreated that date a few days ago, which made it feel even more special. The whole place is so cute and such a fun spot to grab some drinks, hang out, and just enjoy the atmosphere together. They have trivia, other games, and different events and leagues, so there's always something going on and it never feels boring. I visited Par Bar on a date this past Saturday afternoon and it is such a cool place! I loved the concept, drink prices (although I didn't pay, heh), and most especially, that they have PING PONG!! We played a round of mini golf and then some ping pong before walking down the street to get food a 3 Daughters (I don't think they serve food at Par Bar but I could be wrong.) I suck at golf so I didn't expect to do well but there was one hole (I wish I could remember the number) that I somehow managed to land a hole in one. This is obviously a great place for a date or to hang out with friends. After ordering a couple of slushies and doing all 18 holes, my date and I played a few games of volleybeer (free!) by ourselves and with other folks who were out at the bar that night. I had a fun time at Par Bar! We gathered as three couples, so we had a couples game. Par Bar is so unique, I haven't been able to play mini golf at a bar before! The 18 holes look so condensed and at first we thought it wouldn't be such a challenge. They strategically placed kegs and barrels just to give you a hard time on the course! Towards the middle, I got kind of frustrated, but no worries, the house rules say that you can cap your strokes at 6 at each hole. I came with a group of about 15 friends on a Thursday evening. It was a little difficult to find parking, but that's not unusual as you get closer to downtown Saint Pete. Indoors is air conditioned if you need a break from the summer heat, and they have seating at the bar & at tables. Two unisex restrooms are available inside too. Outside, there are picnic tables to eat at (food truck on site), enjoy your drink, or catch up with friends. Each score card fits four names, so we broke into four groups. They offer putters of various lengths to accommodate any height of an individual. The course looks a lot easier than it actually is! The bartender was extremely friendly, and several of us were glad to find out they had ciders in addition to beer. Drinks were reasonably priced. In sum, it made for a great evening, and our group definitely plans to visit again. read more

Nice lowkey spot to hang out on a Monday. Our paintball team had an outing here and we had a blast. "Beer" Pong with trashcans and volleyballs, ping pong, cornhole, Live music, TVs showing GA State blowing out TCU it was a good time. They definitely need a little larger area with a few more tables. Drink selection is very limited and everything comes in a can. Golf area was extremely crowded so it might help if they only let a certain number of people golf at one time. Food truck smelled great but we didn't try it. Music was... different. There was a big group there having what seemed like an award ceremony or something and took over the musicians mic to speak to everyone so it forced us to be a part of their group listening to their speeches. Excellent idea! Something fun and different for St Pete! We had a blast. They have a bar, mini golf, and trash can beer pong. Staff is super friendly. They are planning on implementing more, and being smart about easing into everything while they figure out their vibe. Music is TouchTunes, so you can choose a song. There's a Mexican food truck. It's a great vibe! Would be so fun for a birthday, reunion, work outing, even wedding after party! Monica is amazing! Greggggg is hysterical. Joe and Kurt genuinely care and put a lot of effort into greeting customers and the small details. The lights are golf baskets, there are golf balls imbedded on the bar top, they have kegs in the golf course, and bourbon barrels to hold your beers while you golf. There's also a great area with picnic tables. I also love the lights they used- and they even thought to black out every other one, so it's not too bright. If you can't tell- I had a blast. When you pull up, it seems smaller than you'd expect, but after enjoying the experience- it's just right! read more
