It's all gorgeous. He and his wife were so welcoming and shared the kaona / meaning behind many of the art designs. Most of the artwork tied into the hawaiian culture and mo'olelo. He is a talented artist. His wife is a knowledgeable world historian. It was a pleasure shopping there. I ended up getting three items I didn't know I needed (but I wanted!). It's a local hometown art gallery with a lot of treasures!

Lots of very nice silver and gold jewelry items, along with unique windchimes, glass art, wood carvings, ceramic items, and also a small addition with kids gifts and decorations (e.g. beaded hummingbirds - we brought one home!) . Plenty in range of gift pricing, but the artwork is definitely on the expensive side and the quality justifies it. The gallery itself has a beautiful view, and the kids enjoyed stretching out their legs walking around the pretty grounds. Note: it is off a one-laner road on the northwest side of Maui on the way towards the airport. The drive is probably not for the faint of heart / stomach given the windiness.

The gallery features works from local artists and sells paintings , ceramics, jewelry, decorative objects for the home, such as coasters, trivets, dish towels. It's hard to describe how incredibly beautiful all the pieces are. They all by local artists. Once you visit you will never forget this place and it will live in your memory forever.

Kalia is such a lovely gal, full of fun, happy to help out at any point, full of interesting info about Hawaiian culture and enthusiastic about sharing her skills with others. She is an excellent teacher and so friendly. Everyone enjoyed talking to one another, sharing ideas, and advice about other classes we had taken an Hui No'eau previously. The gardens, gallery and gift store are all lovely to walk though so make sure you don't miss out. Plus it is the perfect place to take a post class picnic in the shade and relax.

I called and spoke with the employee there and she explained they were open for walk-ins. Limit of 5 people inside the store at a time and when I got there, there was 1 customer being helped. Even while busy, I was acknowledged and soon assisted. I didn't get her name but the lady who helped me was extremely helpful with everything! I was amazed at how easily she made my purchase there! Thank you very much! You are a true asset to this locally owned business! Definitely would recommend going here if you need frames or shadow boxes or art prints, etc.! Free parking at the Maui Marketplace and the prices are competitive to those you find elsewhere in town. They also have Koa wood frames in case you want them. All in all, a great place to get framed!
