Much more than any of this local buyers would be interested in at any one time. (Think in 10's) I did not really let on how much I had in my purse for safety reasons but he lost out on a very notable sale of inventory that dull saturday I visited. That would have been the 7th around closing time if he ever comes across these words. Don't bother even calling, you'll be wasting your time even dialing the numbers. I ended up buying from some establishments in the Clarke Building in Pittsburgh.

He promptly told me he did not sell to out of area folks that he had a standing list of local private collectors and private dealers he sold to. Asked if he had anything he was willing to sell to me and he replied, "no". At this point I said thank you and left. While I understand the desire to satisfy his local clientele, I believe his business model is flawed. Clearly, he preferred unsold inventory rather than the several thousand dollars I was prepared to spend.
