We live in a mid century modern split level and we're in a need for a real bathroom remodel. I worked with Shawn and Akilah. Akilah communicated constantly. They are one of the best I have encountered. I did another bathroom remodel last year with another contractor and the experience with Shawn was light and day. About 4 weeks ago I gave raving reviews to Shawn and Elite3 Home Solutions for their work on my deck. My deck is a rooftop deck and I stressed to Shawn to be careful not to puncture the floor of the deck because it will leak in the room underneath it. Well, he wasn't, and he created a leak. (See pics) I didn't mention it in my review because he promised to fix it. He attempted to fix it, but it didn't hold, it leaked again. I called him a second time and he did a better job, but it leaked again. I just tried 3 numbers I have for him and no answer. The last number I dialed rang but it disconnected afterwards. He swore to me that he believed in doing the right thing by repairing my ceiling. Now he's avoiding my calls and forcing me to take legal action. Please be careful if you hire Shawn and this company. read more

We had a front porch that was falling apart. Shawn built around the bricks leaving some bricks exposed and wrapping the rest with decking. The look was so contemporary. It was a very original and creative alternative to the dated lattice. The finished product was amazing and the porch is rock solid. The quality of work was so good that I thought I was on "This Old House". We have a few other projects that need to be done and will only work with Shawn of Elite 3 Home Solutions. We wanted two decks built, one next to each backyard shed we had. Our yard has a lot of tree roots in it, slopes in all directions and has a lot of run off from the adjoining property going through it. We also found the larger shed was starting to shift due to the moisture in the ground from the run off. Shawn was great! Lifted, leveled and installed deep cement footings for our larger shed to prevent further movement. The decks are also well secured with cement footings. The workmanship was great. He also worked with us on scheduling and the changes in the original plans we asked for as we went along. He was personable and easy to work with. His crew were also friendly and helpful.
