Had a well drilled at a depth of 115 by Heller in 2011. He didn't drill the well deep enough and…read morewe experienced sugar sand in our water that ruined our brand new water softener. After contacting Heller, he told us the well needed to be flushed and everything would be fine. We flushed the well but the sugar sand (silt) remained. Heller did not stand behind his service. He told us there was nothing wrong with the well. We contacted another well driller who drilled a new well at 132 feet and the water is perfect. This new well contractor told us that Heller should have researched the depth of wells in our area and should have know that 115 was not deep enough. Most of the wells in our area are at 130 feet. Heller's website indicates he is experienced, but this well drilling experience proves he is NOT a reputable contractor.
