During the appointment, Janae and I spoke for about 15 minutes. I told her that I'd make an appointment for my annual physical in May. I went to the front desk to make an appointment for a physical and was told that the appointment that I just had was a physical. I called the next day to clear up any misunderstanding, and make sure my insurance was billed accordingly and was told by the receptionist that she would check "with the office". She called me back and informed me that, because my insurance wants people to have physicals at the beginning of the year, it was a physical. I then told the receptionist that I normally ask for full bloodwork to be ordered at my annual physical, and that I'd like an order for bloodwork. The receptionist then told me that I'd have to make another appointment to come back to the office before an order for bloodwork would be written. It's not unique to this office, but the entire healthcare system is a scam, one which this practice fully embraces. It's built upon making patients unnecessarily, and repeatedly, come in for appointments for the purpose of billing insurance companies.

My child was seen by Brittany Ortiz, NP, on January 31st, and the lack of professionalism and medical accuracy was deeply concerning. Hygiene Issues: I had to personally ask the NP to put on gloves before she touched my child's open wound--a basic safety protocol that should never be overlooked. Medical Negligence: My child was prescribed respiratory medication for a skin condition. Because of this incorrect treatment, the condition worsened, leading us to the Emergency Room the next day. ER Intervention: The ER physician confirmed the original prescription would never have worked for my child's issue. They immediately started the correct treatment. Misinformation: I was told a recommended soap was "online only," yet I found it on local store shelves immediately after the appointment. As a parent, I trusted this clinic, but the care we received was unacceptable. Please be cautious if your child is scheduled with this provider.

Not a terrible office, but beware of how their operation is managed. "Hello, It should have been notated in your system that the front office did not properly obtain and confirm eligibility for my son and continued to permit his office exam to be held with the Doctor. As usual, I asked if all was well and was told to have a seat until called back by the medical assistant. It was unbeknownst to me that my son's eligibility termed the same day we scheduled a same-day acute visit on 09/30/25. Someone should have checked his insurance as we scheduled the appointment via phone call or after we disconnected versus confirming that our appointment was accepted and all was set. I was also informed that the receptionist is no longer employed at the office and that she has made several mistakes such as this. That is an internal issue and I should not have to absorb the cost on the oversight. I have discharged my son from the practice and will no longer continue to communicate with anyone regarding this matter.
