First, getting an appointment was a nightmare. They had multiple no-shows where I arrived on time only to be told that the doctor wasn't available. The National Alliance Menopause Society just released a 28 page report with the most up to date research. When I went to see Dr. Kline, I was armed with this information. She informed me she's "sick of people getting their information off social media posts", would not listen to my concerns, would not prescribe medication that I was asking for, would not look at my current prescriptions until I literally had to hold them up in front of her (to which she said she didn't know what that was), was dismissive, and gaslit me. I've never left a doctor's appointment so upset or angry in my life! What's more, during my papsmear she informed me I "felt like I was 14 weeks pregnant (bloated due to pms), and I needed an ultrasound to check for fibroids. She raised her voice at me when she asked if I "felt that" and didn't respond, demanding I feel that area with my own hands. Although I felt nothing. Upon reading other reviews about this provider, it appears she has a habit of tactless bedside manner. Fat shaming for example, and I don't doubt it based on how she spoke to me. As a healthcare provider I would never treat my patients with such carelessness nor would I speak so dismissively to anyone. The reason for the 2 stars is Dr. Kline's lovely nurse. Hopefully she doesn't stay working here for too long at a place that totes misinformation about women's health. Her front desk staff was also very kind. The office is difficult to find off the road. Parking is very limited. Once you do find a parking spot, the office is located in one of the facilities hidden away in a word hallway with no windows. Please don't waste your time here. Do your research and find someone certified with NAMS if you're pursuing care for perimenopause or menopause. There are other providers who will treat their patients with respect.

My daughters love her - and when kids actually like their doctor and like seeing her, that says a lot! When moving to Tampa Bay I found Dr. Gilling by comparing pediatricians on our insurance plan with reviews online and referrals from other parents I met at my girls' school - and we felt like we hit the jackpot when we met her and got to know her over the years. She has been there to see my girls through the common childhood ear infections, illnesses, and sprained ankles (and numerous other injuries) of our active kids, as well as their yearly physicals. Most importantly, she was there when one of our daughters had to spend a week in the children's hospital - which was one of the scariest times in my life, yet Dr. Gilling was able to reassure us and gave me confidence in the treatment our daughter was going to receive. One thing I started to notice early on was that Dr. Gilling seemed to REMEMBER our daughters when we came - which was surprising to me considering she must see hundreds of kids (or more) every year. Either she takes amazing notes that she reviews before she walks into a room with a patient or she has an amazing memory - either way, it feels good (to me and the girls) to know that the pediatrician actually remembers your particular child and her medical history (illnesses, injuries, etc.). The girls like Dr. Gilling so much, when she was about 11, one of our daughters started asking if she was going to have to change doctors when she got older, or if she could keep seeing Dr. Gilling forever. Know your insurance before you go…read more I'll get the bad out of the way first. They don't seem very adept with insurance. I read another review where they messed up charging someone and even then I wasn't prepared when they charged me a copay. We hit our deductible so we shouldn't have paid anything. I asked them to double check and after they did they said we hadn't met our deductible. I was holding a ornery baby so it was easier to pay and then follow up later. I called billing and when they called back they said we only paid about $87 of our $5,000 deductible. Super weird on all accounts since our deductible is $3,000 and we hit that. It makes me wonder what insurance they are looking at. I called my insurance company and verified that we shouldn't have paid anything. The office reimbursed us. The other issue is they didn't sign the second sheet for allergy testing when we went to get blood work done. We were stuck, again with an ornery baby, in the waiting room calling them to fax over the second sheet so they could test the blood for all the different possible allergies. They were super fast about faxing that over so I appreciated it. We saw Dr. Lockey. As another review said, he does have a habit of speaking really fast. I ended up calling the office back after I had time to think through everything with additional questions. When you call with questions you have to leave a VM and the VM tells you that the nurses review the messages at certain times and calls back. You better hang on to your phone so you can pick up that call! Luckily I did and the nurse was super nice answering my questions. Dr. Lockey also sees a couple of people at a time so he is moving back and forth a lot. He is super knowledgeable so even though he is a little pressed for time, I trust his opinion. He also helped me decide to switch my baby back to a different medication even though the GI and pediatrician thought the second one was better. Dr. Lockey's knowledge on the subject gave me the strength to go with my gut, which ended up being the best decision. My son reacted a lot better to the original medication. For this, I am very thankful. Even with the cons, I do believe this is the best allergist we can see.

Based on my experience and conversations with others, this office does not appear to be well equipped to work with patients whose needs require additional understanding, flexibility, or support.
