Oops. I read online that some of the cheaper services leave chemical smells on clothing, yuck. I didn't want that smell in my closet so I decided to go ahead and pay a little more at LaMode. Plus it's on my way to work! The lady that was working this morning was really friendly, and had me fill out a short form since this was my first visit. She mentioned that I could drop my items off any time before 9am and they would be available for pickup by 3pm the same day - score! I returned after work and a different, but equally friendly, lady retrieved my items. She handed me a coupon for 20% off my next order for trying them out, yay! My husband's pants turned out great, and the service was great so I didn't mind paying $5.70 a pair. We will definitely be using them again!

I originally received my son's navy suit back, but it was still dirty -- wrinkled and stained -- so I returned it to be properly cleaned. After that, the entire suit went missing. About a week later, they "found" the jacket... but the pants are STILL missing. I was told they believe they may have given the pants to another customer. Let that sink in. On top of that, my father's grey plaid suit is also missing, and I was given someone else's black pants instead. I even returned those pants since they are not ours. What's worse, an employee initially acknowledged that my son's navy pants were missing, but then they completely backtracked and claimed their system shows everything was picked up -- which is simply not true. I made every effort to resolve this the right way, but instead of accountability, I was dismissed and offered a refund for items that ARE NOT EVEN MINE. I NEVER asked for a refund -- I want my clothing returned. I was also told to "come back next week" because they *think* they gave my items to someone else. That is beyond unacceptable. I am now missing multiple garments, including sentimental and expensive items, with no real resolution and no accountability. Save yourself the time, money, and stress -- take your clothes somewhere else. This place is careless, disorganized, and does not take responsibility when they lose your belongings.
