Chatting with the friendly vendors, eating and buying the best items in the market. Yes! I love supporting local and supporting USA made products. We enjoyed the breakfast bagels, coffee, desserts, doggie treats, shopping bag, goat cheese and wine. I already mentioned the huckleberry syrup, jam and rub. Yes! We bought so much of it that our next stop is the FedEx store to ship our gifts home come and enjoy a good time here! Support your local friends. Support small business owners. Support our country

They have a great mix of crafts, veg, bakery, meats, etc., and unlike other Panhandle markets we've been to, the whole place is filled with happy folks. Real nice grandstand for the local performers, as well. Thankfully, the businesses around it allow parking in their dormant lots on a Sat AM, and that's definitely a credit to the market organizers to get that important support. I had been keeping my eyes peeled for a produce stand and was excited to find this place! This little store is pretty old-school. It's run by a sweet older gentleman and features many varieties of fruit, veggies, and a limited selection of groceries. Many of his items seem to be "seconds" (perhaps bruised fruit, or a veggie a little past its prime) but the prices make a stop here worth it if you're willing to dig around for the good stuff (or just cut off the "bad" parts when you get home). I bought a HEAP of fruit and veggies here and only spent $15. Wheeler's is cash only, so keep that in mind if you stop. And be sure to ask him about the cool antique phone on the counter - it still works!

No candles, jewelry, crafts, or other stuff that permeates so many "farmer's markets." This is what a farmer's market should be. Lots of produce and baked goods. Tasty scones. Surprised by all the fresh, local grown produce. And a guy selling dried mushrooms of all kinds. We bought from all the vendors today. Purple potatoes, onions, carrots, broccoli, green beans, yellow zucchini, and dried mushrooms. I bet the Saturday market is even better. I notified Yelp to update the address as it still showed the old 5th Avenue location. We drove around for quite a while to find the market and glad we did.

I try and go to this Farmer's Market a few times a year…read more They have a mixture of veggies, fruit, baked goods, meats, eggs, prepared meals, crafts, and even mead to drink. Early in season they have people selling plants for your garden. It can be hot on hot days since it is on a parking lot. People can block walkways as they gather in groups. Random kids run around. So if those things are a negative to you? Maybe not an event for you. It has started leaning heavily toward food trucks. I se this as a negative because it leads to people showing up just to eat, not to shop, and sitting on sidewalks eating and overstuffed trash cans. Still the fresh fruit and baked goods make it worth a shop.

You can tell there was a thorough thought process when designing the layout of this market. We picked up some Scones from Scone Ranger, some honey, some cheese, and other trinkets. Yes, I'm a creature of habit I drove all the way to Spokane for Islander stuff. HAPA served me a great heap of fried rice. After that, I checked out the crepes at crepecafesisters.
