I sat on this review for several months because I was so put off by the behaviors of several of the…read morestaff but I think people need to be advised. In February 2025, I developed horrible tooth/gum pain. My previous dentist stopped taking my insurance & failed to tell me this until I called about an outrageous bill. The next dentist in my area wasn't taking patients for two weeks. I contacted this office (of oral surgery) & was told that Dr. Rannucci was on vacation but his partner oral surgeon was there & I could make an appointment. I specifically asked the young lady on the phone if he not only "pulled teeth" but if he also did general dentistry & she assured me that "he does everything" so I made my appointment. The appointment was for the next day, and early in the morning. I was there on time but imagine my surprise when I spent 20 mins of my "appointment time" listening to the hygienist (a middle aged Caucasian woman with straight dark hair mixed with gray) & the oral surgeon (believe his name is Cappetta.) talking about me & how they would not be able to handle my "care" unless it was to do an extraction. I guess they thought tooth pain made me lose my hearing also. Anyway, they called me to the window & the oral surgeon was pretty dismissive & borderline rude. There was a little back and forth because I was given false information. If he didn't do "general dentistry" and he kept saying I needed a referral. (According to my dental plan I do not need a referral to go to any practice.) why is his office staff stating he does. They wasted my time & I had to both take a day off of work AND get there for before 8am. Ultimately he suggested I go to my old dentist and get a referral but ended up giving me the name of two dentists in my plan that I could call & telling me that after I see them, if I need oral surgery I can "come back here". They couldn't even give me the courtesy of calling those dentists and seeing if they could squeeze me in, due to my high level of pain. I ended up leaving because there was nothing else to do. Also I want to mention that the day I made the appointment I was told I HAD to give a $100 deposit just to see them. Which I did but I made them refund my money. All the while the young lady at the reception desk did my refund request she was smirking. This review may have never happened if I hadn't spoken to my best friend and she tell me she ALSO had a poor customer experience with this office and that same surgeon. She also knows of two additional people that experienced the same. So clearly, this is a pattern. I would sincerely recommend thinking long and hard about coming here unless you like to be mishandled by a doctors office. Sort of a buyer beware situation This is why I do not and would never recommend this office.

I highly recommend Drs. Georgia and Mario Agaliotis, Dr. Vivian Graham, and Dr. Benjamin Jacobs…read more I had very bad pain above one of my teeth, that got progressively worse over a week. I called Drs. Agaliotis' office and explained my situation. They made time form me that day, although they were extremely busy. Dr. Georgia Agaliotis took an X-Ray and suggested that I go to an Endodontist to get a CT scan, see if the tooth was salvageable. They called Dr. Vivian Graham, who saw me within a half hour. She took a CT scan and showed me where the tooth was cracked along the root. The tooth would have to be pulled. I was sent back to Dr. Mario Agaliotis for getting an impression of my teeth before my tooth was full. Dr. Mario Agaliotis called the Oral Surgeon Dr. Benjamin Jacobs and explained my case. The day, Dr. Benjamin Jacobs so me, went over my CT scan, pulled the tooth, removed the infected bone, and did a bone graft. All three teams of doctors and staff were very professional and efficient. My pain went from extremely high, to sore, to no pain within one day.

When I asked a simple question why didn't the office call me about the estimate before my visit here when they told me they would, she gave me a snappy answer response instead of a helpful answer. Customer service should be a priority, especially in a healthcare setting, but clearly, this office doesn't value treating patients with respect. To make things worse, when I asked to speak to the doctor to discuss her behavior the doctor told me "You're not the first one who is complaining about her but it's hard to find employees so we can't do much about it" I will not be getting my treatment from this office or recommending this office to anyone who expects to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

Rude, Rude, Rude! Selected this Dr. based on decent reviews…read morefrom other sites. Big mistake. I'm a new patient. He strolls into the room and never once introduced himself. Took and x-ray,probed into my mouth. and asked me, "whats wrong with your mouth, does bad teeth run in your family"? Needless to say, I was appalled! He was very unprofessional, and exhibited a non-caring attitude. He made me feel uncomfortable and very uneasy! There was no empathy, discussions of a treatment plan or the like. Finding an exceptional Dr. is no easy task! Alas, the search continues!

After experiencing sudden excruciating pain in several teeth on the right side of my mouth last…read moresummer, I called Dr. Hanauer's office in tears begging for an emergency appointment. I had recently switched insurance plans and had not yet been delegated a dentist. The office agreed to fit me in for an early appointment. I was treated very rudely by the Dr. throughout the appointment, but his attitude is the least of my concerns. The examination was very short--so much so, that I was compelled to ask if he was planning to take any x-rays, etc. He said very simply, "No," without further explanation. He then proceeded to reassure me that my teeth looked fine, and that there was nothing I could do for the pain other than to use Sensodyne. Fast forward to nearly a year later, and those three teeth (at least) have rotted from the inside out. I'm looking at three root canals, three crowns, and comprehensive gum surgery. I am in my late twenties, and have flossed twice a day and brushed three times daily for the entirety of my adult life. Honestly, I am an obsessive oil-pulling, tongue-scraping oral hygiene freak. I'm not sure what is to blame here other than genetics or saliva PH or whatever, but one thing is for certain: if this Dr. actually did his job and attended to me like a real patient and suffering human being rather than an inconvenience, I might still have these teeth. This is my first Yelp review and honestly I have never been remotely compelled to write one... but after this experience, I wanted to share a cautionary tale with the public. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Avoid this Dr. at all costs!

I found this location through google and my decision to book an appointment solely came from the reviews and I am so happy it worked out. I have no regrets. To Ashley who handled my deep cleaning and was extremely informative and made me feel very comfortable with every step. She didn't make feel embarrassed or insecure about the upkeep or lack there of with my teeth. And finally Dr. D... he was like the Superman of Dentists. He spoke so fluent and confident in the plan for my future procedures and he spoke in terms and examples that were easy to understand. He was clear and explained every step of the way and it all made sense. I was actually pretty shocked at how down to earth he was. Dr. D and his staff took away any fear or feeling of being overwhelmed which was such a good way to start what I now confirm to be an ongoing relationship because they've just signed on a new patient.
