If I would've written this review a year ago, they would've gotten five stars, but their service has continued to go downhill. They do not answer their phone and they do not return calls nor do they return text messages. I tried to get a hold of them for a week to ask a question about my prescription and no one ever called me back. Somebody finally emailed me and basically made excuses that they were overwhelmed. Extremely Disappointing Experience - Prescription Lost, No Accountability We had an extremely disappointing experience with this pharmacy. I brought my wife's prescription to the Wylie location, where I was assured that it would be faxed to McKinney for fulfillment. After waiting five days with no update--while my wife needed her pain medication--we called to check the status. To our shock, the staff told us they had no idea what happened to the prescription. When I asked for help, the person I spoke with was not only unhelpful but also rude, showing no care or responsibility for the situation or our distress. read more

I had to switch my babies medication from Maxxor pharmacy to Sands Rx pharmacy. For a year I've never had an issue with the other pharmacy and their customer support or delivery time. Sands Rx has rude customer support. They say medications now have 3 day delivery but it's been a week since the Rx was called in and it has still not arrived. read more

They always short you in their compounding pharmacy. What should be a 4 week supply is really only 3 weeks and maybe 1/3 of the 4th week. But at $80 per injection, they are shorting me about $60. Happens every time. read more

This pharmacy is just amazing! Very timely and helpful and their overnight shipping (I live out of state) is so convenient! My Dr.'s office tried using an in state pharmacy for a lower price on my medication, but with their shipping cost there was no difference, and their customer service was atrocious! Will never try that again, even if they promise a lower price. Her husband brought a gun my second week of working there & tried to get me to touch it & also hide it in the area I was working mind you I don't know these ppl yet. We wont even talk about the overcharging which was admitted in a conference phone call to patient and insurance company. Still waiting on the credit for that. It's also very nicely decorated with supplements and support pills that i had no idea what they do since i'm not in the medical field. I had a difficult time reaching this pharmacy. I was on hold the first time on Monday (right after the dr visit) for 8 minutes and today, Saturday, for 15 minutes. I had a vm message on Tuesday to call (with no information), so I did. I waited 7 minutes that time. I was told that they were waiting on my ins to respond, so I continued to wait for my meds. Today is Saturday, and they are still waiting for my ins to respond. I have an established account at Walgreens and have asked the dr to use them. This is ridiculous that I have waited all week for meds that I should have received by Tuesday. I know Sands Rx is a specialized pharmacy, but I will not be using them. read more

I've been going through IVF most of the year and have had the pleasure of purchasing from SandsRx for medications. The IVF process as a whole can be horribly unpredictable, financially and emotionally draining. During this process I have found SandsRx to be amazing! The customer service and friendliness of the staff is something you don't see much of these days. Amber & Nabil went above and beyond each and every time. I kid you not, I actually enjoyed calling in and picking up meds as these are some of nicest people you will meet. They double check everything before providing it as the orders can be complicated. The products were great and staff always ensured the essentials accompanied the products. I also love that they took it upon themselves to seek out the best prices and programs so I the consumer could have the best price. I did shop around during the first round and could not find any place that could beat the price. By the second round I didn't even bother looking around because they made the stressful part of having this or that med whenever I needed it such a breeze. It was so easy to end up with exactly what I needed rather than purchase it all and have left overs. For both rounds all I had left was the extra meds left in the Follistim cartridge or additional progesterone from the 10ml bottle. It was great to be able to purchase efficiently rather than having to buy the whole lump sum of meds and being out the money if the cycle were cancelled. Again, I cannot tell you enough how much easier they made this stressful journey, it felt they were right beside me helping me with whatever I needed along the way! read more
