Our impression was that this was babysitting for kids who smoked pot.... Our sons school sent work that was supposed to be done at Newport with there "teachers" but that never happened. I guess to sum up... our last day the academy and ourselves reached a decision that could not help, yet they told us we coud not leave until the end of the day. We left. Turns out they don't get paid for partial days. So althought they admitted that this diagnosis was out their capabilities, they wanted us to stay so that they could bill. Stay Away! Unless you just need someone to watch your unruley child, their services are not to cure/help just to babysit!

I saw absolutely no way out, so I said some pretty wacky things (not gonna specify) in order to get me kicked out. After that I found myself with very little respect for therapy/therapists. Now, I can confidently say that i am doing so much better with absolutely NO thanks to Newport. It wasted so much of my valuable time as a young man and student trying to find a passion in life. I arrived early, only to find the office completely dark, locked, and empty. No staff, no signage, no explanation. I called the listed number--no answer and voicemail was full. I texted, and after some delay 10 minutes received a message claiming the doctor was stuck in traffic and would arrive in five minutes. That turned out to be false. At 9:10 AM, a staff member finally arrived through a side door, turned on the lights, and let me in. It wasn't the doctor, just a tech or nurse. I was asked for my ID, handed a clipboard with a stack of paperwork, and told to fill it out. After completing the first set, I was handed yet another clipboard with even more forms--despite already being 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I refused to continue. These documents could have easily been sent in advance. To make matters worse, the doctor never showed up. I was misled via text, delayed without explanation, and ultimately wasted my time. I asked them to destroy my records and left. This appointment cost me valuable work time, and the lack of professionalism from both the doctor and staff was unacceptable. I do not recommend this facility to anyone who values punctuality, transparency, or basic respect for their time.

I scheduled my appointment and got an email verification. 5 stars for the staff working. You pull up and you're supposed to call a number but because so many people were there for tests, the medical professionals just came to your car. They were working nonstop, so this is not a complaint, but I waited about 20 minutes to be "seen". Julianna got my information, and came back out with the test. I swapped my nose myself. She said it would be three hours and not 30 minutes until I got emailed my results. I docked a star from my review because I am fine waiting three hours for results, and I completely understand they're swamped during the holidays, but a note on the website that the time would be longer would've been preferable. I will absolutely be coming back and special shout out to Julianna and the other gentleman who were both running around supporting all of their appointments.
