After a fall right after my surgery I spent 4 days in the hospital. I have an injured elbow, a serious balance disorder and nerve pain in the same leg as my foot surgery. I'm a serious fall risk. Upon my hospital discharge 6 days ago, the hospital and my surgeon referred me to Caregivers for PT, OT, Nurses, and a home health aide. So far I saw a nurse 4 days ago who recommended a wheelchair for me, but did NOTHING about ordering one for me. I've had to coordinate all of that myself. Two other nurses have called to see me just days after the initial visit. I saw a PT today who seemed to have limited knowledge of my other physical complaints. The OT I coordinated myself. The home health aide? So far she's just a promise that has failed to materialize. Both my social worker and my doctor's office have reached out to Caregivers multiple times for the last 4 days, and each time they're told that "it's all coordinated, I just have to wait". It's been 10 days since I last bathed. I'm miserable! If you're good with do-it-yourself home healthcare, this is the company for you. From my perspective, I want caregivers who really care about caring for the people they've been contracted to care for.

While I was doing most of it, I needed time to get out to take care of my own job and other projects. I called Georgetown Home Care, and they responded, do you need immediate help? Where other agencies it was quite obvious that it was going to take time for them to evaluate if they wanted to help us. Georgetown Home Care was there the next day. We felt as if we were there only client. They found us a compatible aide and they were very caring as a company. Right up until the end. Which came as quick as the need for home care did. Overall very pleased with the responsiveness and the aides that were assigned to us.

When she was informed that this lapse would be overlooked, but if it would happen a second time then we would have to dispense with her services, she quit. They never performed an initial assessment and after much difficulty making arrangements a nurse, with virtually no prior notice, arrived at the wrong designated time and precipitated a stressful situation. Their billing department is pathetic. They will send you a statement with new terms of agreement, but not the acknowledgement form to sign. Some of their administrative staff are rude and dismissive and engage in evasive verbal maneuvers -- an offensive affront to any responsible person. The second care giver never showed up for a scheduled appointment. She and Care Plus did not inform this client, so her basic necessities were neglected. But what is most irritating is that their care givers are not Covid tested while the Omicron variant is virulent.

I see Dr. Ghorbani EVERY visit instead of a different PA each time as I have experienced in other practices. I am satisfied with the amount time Dr. Ghorbani spends with me. If a visit is brief it's because I am doing well and the treatment plan is working. If I need more time during an appointment the Dr. is available. I was introduced to Dr. Possner by a good friend. There are not enough words to describe how…read morethankful I am for this introduction. From the first meeting I had with Dr. Possner, I knew things would be vastly different and that I had found someone that would have a profound impact on my health. My first appointment was the longest time I had ever spent with a doctor. My appointment was 2 hours and Dr. Possner had fully reviewed my medical records and engaged me in thoughtful conversation about my medical history. I left my initial appointment with a feeling of empowerment over my health that I had never really felt before. Little did I know that the impact of having Dr. Possner as my doctor would happen so quickly. I was on vacation and had an acute UTI. It was after business hours, but I was able to call the office and get the on call doctor that happen to be Dr. Possner. I walked him through my symptoms and he immediately called in a prescription for me. Because he had such knowledge of my history it was easy for us to communicate and talk through my symptoms. He checked on me via email through the client portal several times over the next couple of days to ensure I was ok. The fact that I was in a remote part of a different state and I was able to call and speak with the doctor saved me stress and the hassle of finding an urgent care to go to. He has made several recommendations to other specialists and doctors, all of whom have turned out to be amazing. His referral goes a long way with each specialist I have scheduled an appointment with. I can't recommend Dr. Possner enough; he's a great listener, thoughtful, caring, kind and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. His follow through is simply amazing.

Was also told once that patient was not in system when I called! The only saving grace was nurse David Frione, who was a triage nurse that came on day 5.

After his death I received so many text messages telephone calls, letters with my name incorrect . After the first telephone call I explained that I did not need assistance, I was doing fine and already had all the resources necessary to deal with my husband's death. I requested to stop calling me or sending messages. However, the saga continued, very frustrating and my request to stop contacting me was disregarded. Probably the people calling have a spread sheet and need to put a mark on it. It is not about the person who just lost her husband but about getting points for their job.
