Went yesterday had the worst service and the food was so bad. The fries we gross and the bread wasn't fully cooked and was still raw doughy

Been stopping here for over a decade, but the last trip my wife got a sandwich with the most meager amount of roast beef on it. I've included a photo of this Lazer thin roast beef film that they put on the sandwich. I love the food at this place, but I can't pay top dollar for food that just isn't there. Love this place. Outdoor garage seating with great service every time. This sandwich factory never misses. Food is always excellent.

The sandwich was ok, it was mostly bread very little meat. The lettuce was not fresh and had brown spots on it, very shy on the onions. There was no reason for the lettuce not being fresh I got there about 11:15 am just a few minutes after opening. I got the #5 ham and turkey. I could only taste the tomatoes (which were good) and bread with vinegar on it. Service was not very good either. I did ask if they offered a military discount and the response was No very bluntly. Most places will say I'm sorry we don't or something polite like that and most will at least thank me for my service. Atmosphere was average at best. I won't be returning. The smell of meats and oil and vinegar and garlic and onions soon as you hit the door. I like the sandwich factory since I was 16. Way back when the original guy opened it up on Market street. But, this one, just giving average rating. Staff was pretty much didn't care. Hey, this ain't Taco Bell, how about a smile when a customer orders? The interior looks great, kind of like a teeny tiny primanti's but mang, the bread as served with the hot sausage link sangwich was sooooo bready. Added a pic of all that I tore off the large hot sausage that was just not part of the meat and that. I want to like the place. But what I truly dislike about all the Sandwich Factory's now is, years ago they used a narrow bun that had great texture. Now a days, the buns they use taste like Wonder bread. Just tasteless and no texture. Taking the Sandwich Factory in Columbiana off my radar. Gonna stick with Austintown. I have never said this before in a review, but I felt no heart and soul in this place. Like it was just going through the motions, no smiles, no interaction, and left a bad taste in me mouth. I love the food here. Some times service is slow but the food is consistent and every time I am home I try to eat there once at least. They are a staple in Columbiana. read more

Very good. Took awhile for them to make my steak sandwich, but that's okay. I was disappointed that they changed fries. They used to have really good fries but now they're just overly breaded it seems. I still like this place and prices are reasonable read more

We love sandwich factory for their sandwiches. Their bread is really quite good and their meat always seems tasty and fresh. I give them four stars instead of five only because I can't say I've ever had exceptional service. In fact, every time I'm in I feel almost as if I'm an inconvenience to the staff. Wow! There are people on this earth that are miserable and fail to remember to smile. The owners mother is that person. I ordered chicken tenders and received them burnt. Upon taking them back she said "I'm not making you another, it will be the same" as a customer she clearly made the choices for me, no option for something else and she happily refunded my money. They have good French fries but everything else is oily and soggy. The lunch meat quality isn't the best. They should try boar's head. We called to order wings and the person that answered couldn't even answer our questions. He sounded like he was annoyed we had called. read more

Terrible Customer service, ordered a sub with extra oil and vinegar on the side, picked and asked where ut was Manager said, oh they out it on the sub for you, i said thats not how i ordered it, and was not happy , he did ask if i wanted remade but i wasnt wasting any more time i said no, then he says hey you dont need an attitude in here, well excuse me. had my sub been made as requested you wouldnt get an attitude. will NEVER GO BACK TO this Sandwich Factory again. read more

Great food and mostly good service. They can mess up orders sometimes but normally happy. The grilled chicken sub, grilled chicken salad, fried cheese balls, and fried veggie basket are my go tos. read more

Owners are always rude and the employees have no personality. We get their food for work occasionally but not anymore. You cant get fresh hot fries when you order at the counter. Tonight there was one person in front of me and person behind me. And we wall got one sandwhich . 17 minutes later we got out sandwiches. What a joke. While the food is good, it does not make up for the attitude of the owner. He is rude and should be completely embarrassed by how he treats his employees especially in front of paying customers. read more

First place I was served french fries in my salad. I'm a fan! From then on, I have almost always ordered a chicken salad and sweet tea. :)

This place has good food and good pricing. Nice armosphere, they have a nice patio area, probably cool at night, but I only work in Columbiana not play. Try the fries, they are like Fair fries. read more

Giant subs and cold beers not much could go wrong there. If you are in the mood for a steak salad you will not find a better one anywhere.

The food here is pretty good, and on Thursdays they have great local musicians providing live music. However, that usually gets ruined when the owner gets up and starts singing with the musicians. I am not sure what is worse......his terrible voice or the fact that he thinks he sounds great. He needs to let the musicians do their thing, and concentrate on treating his employees better. read more

I've always heard bad things about the owner but never experienced anything personally so I continued to go. His mother always looks pretty miserable and I experienced her ugly personality first hand yesterday. I was waiting in line (a few people ahead of me). The owner's mother rang up an order and walked away. A younger girl who was taking orders went to ring a couple up and the owner's mom came back in the middle of it and started yelling at the girl that she was not done and asked why she would do that? The girl said she was sorry and didn't know she was still on it since she was no longer there. She continued to attack her in front of patrons and every single one of us had the same disgusted look on her face. The poor young girl looked so embarrassed and like she was going to cry. It was so unprofessional and unnecessary. She just kept at it too. I walked up to the front of the line and told her she was rude and she should not have talked to her that way. I also said I will never be back and I am true to my word. My husband and I came there at least twice a week and always ordered trays for parties. I have also told all of my friends and family. They were so disgusted and will not be back. The Poland location is just a few more minutes away so we will just go there. From what I hear, you have a huge turnover rate and this could be why. Treat others how you want to be treated and God forbid you or your mom crack a smile every now and then. read more

This was the worst sub I had in a long time. I stopped there New Years Eve to pick up a sub stood at counter and no one waited on me for awhile meanwhile there were like 6 workers behind the counter and not one asked if I needed something. The bread was doughy and under cooked, barely any meat, few shreds of lettuce and seemed like no oil or vinegar was extremely dry. I should have stopped at my local hometown subway which would have been better and less expensive. read more

The owner is rude! After we received our order we learned we received the wrong drinks. When we asked them for the correct drinks, they refused unless we paid again because the drinks cost too much. We expressed our dissatisfaction and left the establishment without drinks. We were then aggressively confronted in the parking lot by the owner, the owners mother and a few others. I felt extremely uncomfortable and threatened. It seemed like they were looking for a fight. I will not return.
