Stopped here for lunch with a group of coworkers while working nearby. This is a nice casual spot for classic American fare done well. I opted for the half pound burger with their fresh cut fries. The food was cooked perfectly and brought out fresh. Everything tasted great. We sat in a booth that had a TV playing sports which I appreciated. The restaurant has tons of TV's all over the place, so definitely a good place to eat if you don't want to miss a big game. Our server was friendly and attentive, food was brought out quickly even though they were surprisingly busy for a weekday lunch. Edward's is a staple in NCPA- I'd always recommend this restaurant when people ask where to go out to eat. Food is always consistently good. The restaurant has always been busy when we've gone. They don't take reservations but you can do call ahead, so I would definitely recommend doing that. Edwards is the place to go on the north side to meet up with family & friends. Interior is some what average but service & food are great. Always make it here when I'm back in town to get my lamb on the rod fix, delivered perfect mid-rare with hand cut fries & pepper sauce. Edwards is such a great spot for catching up with friends and family. It is always busy and can be a bit loud but the food is excellent and the service is great. Plus they have quite possibly the best wedding soup ever! So much so that we had to get an extra one to go! read more

We were in town for a reunion and this place seemed the best choice of all, based upon our hotel location. There weren't too many non-chain options, but we found one! We were able to make online reservations and then went on the trip to find it! PA is hard to navigate with their hills and tiny, tiny road signs. Thank goodness for Google Maps! We parked in their very full lot, which is always a good sign! Plus, the cars were very high end, so we thought it must be really good. Once we checked in, in person, they said they would text us when ready. True to word, 20 minutes later we had a great private table by the bar. I was so happy! Our server was so obliging and polite. He heard all our asks and delivered. For me, service makes all the difference and when there is none, I get quickly upset. He was on point! Very good food at very reasonable prices. Service was also very good. Our server was helpful when we ordered and allowed us to take our time and chat for a while before ordering and between courses; never felt rushed. I recently had lunch at Edward's after not eating here for awhile. The menu has improved and expanded a lot. The food and selection is excellent and the staff just seem to go out of their way to please you. You can dine in their patio in winter as well as summer months. We started off with lukewarm coffee! The waitress said she had 'Just brewed a fresh pot'. The refills were just as bad. Then came the lukewarm Wedding Soup. Having worked in food service for years; I would have been embarrassed to serve this watered-down broth. The waitress took the half full cup off of the table, but didn't bother to ask if it was not to my liking. The "Steakhouse Bleu" salad was good, but my appetite was ruined by then. We came to this place on a busy Tuesday evening, and we were glad to have used their online waitlist to put in our names. Our table was ready when we arrived, meaning we passed a large number of groups waiting in the front for seats. The table was clean, and our drink came in a relatively short amount of time. The table Split an Order of Buffalo chicken dip as an appetizer. It was fantastic and came out hot with fresh chips. Warning for those with low spice tolerance: this one might cause you to sweat (meaning it was perfect for me). I personally ordered the Italien chicken sandwich, which was very good. I wish there were more toppings on it, but over all it had good flavor. My side salad was fresh and crisp, so no complaints there. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, though they seemed to over cook their burgers so be warned. Personally my only complaint was time of service. There were long gaps between the times our waitress would check on out table, meaning the food took long to receive and our waters were often empty. I blame this on the fact that the Place was packed, but it still would have been nice to have some more attention. All in all, I would come back as there are other tasty items on the menu I'd love to try! read more

This is the local "Cheers" place where all the locals go. I had lunch there today and then dinner. For lunch it was the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and dinner was the make your own salad. It was all great. I really enjoyed dinner because the locals are so friendly and apparently I look just like some guy that grew up around here. Haha! Tuesday Build your Own Salad is fantastic! Huge salads, generous toppings, really friendly service and awesome wings. Nice beer selection, the only negative is the back room which is incredibly loud and feels a little cramped. Bar booths are great as is the main dining room. Edwards is a staple in the New Castle community. Their versatile menu assures that there is something for everyone! Not to mention they have some of the best ranch in town! I've tried many of items off their menu but routinely find myself ordering the salads, wings, and chicken sandwiches. Another menu item must is the broccoli puffs appetizer. We go here often, good food and nice clean and updated seating area. The Cajun Alfredo and chicken parm are our go-to items.

Sometimes it's good, not great. Last time was not good at all, the wait for our food was rediculas!! I'll go somewhere eles most likely.

A friend came to visit from Ohio and she wanted to go to Edwards. I am so GLAD for it is now my husband's and my favorite that is close to us.
