Very delicious mid-price range pizza. The pizza is very cheesy and lightly greasy. The crust is thick and crunchy. The pepperoni was also nicely cupped and crisped. We ordered wings too, I wanted buffalo wings and the wings came plain with a cup of franks red hot. We expected them to be tossed in the sauce but they were still decent. The ordering was also a little difficult as there were multiple numbers listed on Google and they were both ringing busy for quite a while. Our first visit here to pick up some pies and head over to a brewery. I can say that it won't be our last visit. This pizza was fantastic. We ordered a regular pepperoni, a white without peppers and the Everything pizza. All were fantastic. The crust was baked perfectly and the toppings were just right. We compared it to one of our favorite pizza spots closer to our house and dare I say we may have liked this place a little more. The Everything pizza consisted of sauce, green peppers, mushrooms, black olives, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, topped with shredded salami. Talk about a slice of pizza. It was like Studio 54 on the palate as these ingredients danced in prefect harmony together. So happy to know this gem is located within 5-minutes of the brewery we like to visit. We visited R Pizza Place yesterday and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was very sweet. We ordered the soft pretzel bites, 2 flatbreads, and 2 orders of the pizza rolls. R's Pizza has really good pizza. It is always fresh and ready on time. We never have a complaint. Their cauliflower pizza is delicious but at times the crust is soggy. I'm not sure why it's perfect sometimes and soggy other days. On a good day it is perfectly crispy! Their fried veggies are delicious! Their thin crust or half sheet pepperoni pizza is perfect. I have been getting food from R Pizza since before they moved locations. I have never had a sandwich, salad, nor pizza from there that I didn't like. I appreciate having the pickup window so I don't have to worry about unloading and loading kids from the car. I use their loyalty card to get $6 off the 16th purchase and I use their coupons. I was surprised to see that a tiny pizza joint in an even tinier town had a gluten free option and I wasn't expecting much but was too hungry to try to cobble together an alternative. My parents are frequent fliers here and recommended I give it a shot. I called ahead and my order was ready in about 30 minutes, grabbed it from the super convenient drive-thru window. "The Everything" came piled with fresh toppings on a crust that wasn't the cardboard most GF pizza is and also wasn't soggy or overwhelmed. It wasn't the lovely puffy crust of my wheat-loving past but it was an admirable crack at it, one of the plumpest and nicest textured gluten free pizzas I've ever had. Great service, OK pizza, OK decor. It's an awkward store space--kind of looks like it's set up like the inside of a house would be, but not at the same time. All of the tables and booths are in the back behind a wall, near a fireplace that is decorated like someone would decorate inside their house. Everything is pretty neutral colored with a lot of Marilyn Monroe framed pictures. The tables and chairs are the cheap looking and kind of close together. If the restaurant had been full, it would have been awkward to be sitting so close. But I don't know if it ever gets full enough for that. You order at the front and they serve the pizza to you. Like I said, OK pizza if you're used to good pizza, but probably really awesome pizza if you're from around the area. We got a greek gourmet with tomato sauce instead of white, supreme, and a mushroom and olive pizza. All of them were good--no one complained. It's the kind of pizza that's thick and bread-y with a lot of stuff on top. I enjoyed the greek gourmet, though there was SO much cheese on it (feta, mozzarella, cheddar) that I just knew I had to stop eating lest I never poop again. They weren't skimpy on the toppings, which was nice, and I believe it was somewhere around $11-12 for a medium, 8 piece pizza (which served around 3 people). The service was really sweet and knew the people I was with personally because they come in often. This area in general has a lot of really sweet people that will talk to you if they're within a 10 foot radius. Perfect seasoning, the artichoke hearts and kalamata olives added a saltiness to the awesome taste with the shredded salami and bacon. I started to try different menu selections. I was getting a little bored with just ordering pizza. Now, I usually order a salad and a buffalo chicken roll or the pepperoni roll. The salads are a real standout. Crisp leaf lettuce, and fresh toppings. The only thing that I would recommend to this place, would be to stop using the hot pepper rings out of a jar, and to use fresh hot peppers. My 87 year old mother in law ordered pizza for those of us visiting. My brother in law and cousin both heard her order the "white" pizza on the phone. She lives in town. She's ordered from here hundreds of times and the pizza is very good. However, on this occasion, my bil went to get the pizza. When he arrived home and we saw it had red sauce, he took it back. He told the owner. The owner gave my bil $10 and said "She does this all the time and I don't want your business!!" When my bil tried to say maybe he had her confused with someone else, he was rude and said he didn't need her business. I was abhorred to hear this. We get take out from here about once a week. We tried dining in and I was extremely disappointed. There was no one serving us, we ordered and paid in advance at the counter. While we were waiting I wanted one more beer. I had to swipe my card again, and I had to buy 2 beers and 2 peppermint patties to make the total over $5.00. If your looking for great pizza and wings, this is the place. The pizza is not cookie cutter, it's their on deal and man is it good. The crust is fantastic and the sauce is a sweat Italian and they don't over do it with sauce, it's perfect. A lot of toppings to pick from and specialty pizzas as well, and they won't disappoint. The wings are meaty, cooked just right with plenty of sauces to choose. I don't know what the rest of the menu is like but I'm sure it matches the pies because they seem to take pride in all aspects. Oh and the convenient drive through is a bonus, especially winter time. Speaking of time orders are usually ready in 20-30 minutes. I recently had a chance to have a pizza at R Pizza (5/10) I worked at Domino's years ago and I have a good pallet for pizza. R.s didnt disappoint. There large pizza with extra cheese and mushrooms was very good. Mind you its not the best pizza i've had but it was pretty darn good. The price was reasonable and I took out the pizza , but noticed it was a small resturant, booth seating, and at the time there were no waiters or waitresses working. You ordered at the desk and they brought you your food to your table. It has a casual atmosphere and with a bit of work could be a romantic place for a date. Their menu had a wide variety of italian foods besides pizza also. Also the rest room was clean and supplied, I wouldnt eat at a resturant that didnt have soap and towels for the workers to wash with. All in all I'd visit again read more

I have been here many times as I used to work right around the corner. Came in today while back in town for the holiday and steak sandwich that was supposed to be "like a Stromboli" was dried out and just on a pita. My fiancées sandwich wasn't any good either. The service was awful. We waited for our drinks for 25 mins, food for over an hour. The pizza has always been decent here, but that's about it. Everything else is either too dry or too greasy. Recently ordered from here and had the WORST service ever at the drive thru. Arrived 35 min after order as I was on my way home from work in Boardman and had been quoted a 25 min pickup. I paid and then was told my order still wasn't ready and I was told to come back in a few minutes! After coming back I was asked to pay again! Um no. Showed receipt. Was given pizza but none of the other items ordered. I've heard the owners when arnt there sit at home and watch the security cameras and call in and belittle the people who are working!
