I was told 300 and called them up to confirm and for an explanation of what to expect. The not so friendly Renee told me the 300.00 included 1 month of lessons for 45 mins each and 1/week reherersal. Fine. How do I pay I asked? "Ummmm..... well you can just send me your info in an emai.....l I guess....."WTF? okay..... No thanks, I will just pay in person when I come. When I arrived Renee wasn't there and apparently neither was anyone else who could process my payment. Not only that -they were not ready for my daughter either and suggested that I take off and that she "hang out" there for about an hour and half with them. She's 8!! ok...... Surely they mean that there are some other kids perhaps in the same situation and they have some activities planned for them or something along those lines. I quickly figured out that was not the case as I watched the instructors skip out to lunch. Since no else said anything else to me I decided to sit and wait with my daughter until they returned and made time for her....A few days later I checked my bank account only to find that school of rock had charged me double. #$%^&*(. And when I called and spoke with the owners Mike and Renee, they cheerfully responded with sarcasm and reassured me again that "WE DONT GIVE A SHIT!!!!!" AND just to make sure that I got the message Mike sent me a cheerful email..with all exclaimation points..that he PERSONALLY DOESN"T GIVE 2 SHITS!!! . My next issue with these assclowns. After talking to my daughter I realized she was not receiving the private lessons I was paying for....so I emailed the owners. Who again treated me with zero respect. Ok, i get it. You are in a prime buckhead location, making money hand over fist and DONT GIVE A SHIT but really...that's just not cool. I emailed Mike AGAIN for my refund and this time he didn't respond with all all excamation points!! hey! Christina! We don't give a shit!!! So maybe I will get my well deserved refund. In the meantime, all the instructors seem nice and my mini me likes coming here..which makes the fact that owners don't care about customer service all the more incredibly frustating.

The selection in the store is good. But they have some big corporate issues. The phone system…read moregives an open message when the store is closed. Google hours are incorrect. There is no voice mail. Service phone often rings for 20 rings (gave up after then) and never is answered. The people in the store know about these problems, but the corporate office does nothing to fix it. The corporate call center went so far as to tell me they couldn't control the hours on Google. What? Again, less than stellar workers. Also, personnel is not properly trained. ie: I was told I could get a flute repair done in a week, then I found out it was a month...after I flew to the USA with my flute from another country. So, I bought a new flute. I asked the service department to check it over completely as I did not live in the USA and wanted to make sure there were no issues. Note this was a rather expensive silver flute. They gave it to me saying it was perfect. Well, it wasn't! The interior was filthy...used. The f# key leaks. I am flying back to the USA. It took me 12 phone calls including 2 useless calls to the call center before I could speak to someone. I was promised a call back from the call center in 40 minutes. Never called. Bottom line is, good selection, knowledgeable sales people, lousy service and not the brightest in the call center. I think some of the staff is good at some of the stores, but really, they need training.

My son needed to pick up an acoustic guitar and the staff could not have been more helpful. They had a roomful of choices and expertise on each. Store manager Jon Bon insisted on restringing the floor model for him. He and Billy Darling have been on the staff for decades. Added a hard case and off we went. Finding Miss Nancy was the best thing I could've done for my child "and me". Ms Nancy superseded my expectations, anyone who knows me, knows that I have very high expectations. My child loves Miss Nancy and tries to impress her by her mastering a song. Even though she only has been playing for five months, she is already playing some really cool songs that she knows and recognizes. I did shop around for a while to find a piano teacher for my child, but saw a lot of the Piano teachers worked with larger stores etc... we travel a lot and I needed a teacher that would be a little flexible with our schedule. As long as I gave her a two week notice, she would attempt to make up a class for me etc...

I called back today to follow up and see if we could come try out some of the beginner-friendly guitars, the owner berated me unbelievably over the phone, called me a liar, and explicitly said multiple times that I have never stepped foot in his store, which is untrue. Rather than taking accountability for poor customer service and working with us to meet us in the middle, he repeatedly insulted us personally, called us liars, and yelled at me without letting me get a word in for about 10 minutes before hanging up. Maybe if they kept an eye on the front desk, they would've recognized me. This is the first review I've left on the store, but he also accused me of leaving a previous one star review, which was pending and invisible until now. Based on my interaction over the phone, I gathered that he personally stalked my boyfriend's name and information on Google reviews to find out that I am associated with him, connect me to my phone number, and berate me. Absolutely unprofessional and inhumane. He refused to check the cameras and called me a liar, called us immature 10-year-olds , etc., while I calmly explained to him that his behavior was very unprofessional. As professional music teachers and musicians ourselves, my partner and I highly recommend Ken Stanton, Guitar Center, or Music and Arts. This man treated us incredibly hatefully and the quality of his gear is not competitive with other options in the same mall, so you would think he would make up for it with customer service. Do not come here unless you wanna be yelled at and spoken down to, and price-gouged.

It has been so fun to watch my daughter grow in not only her musical abilities but also in her confidence and ability to interact with others Miss Jessica makes you feel comfortable, models the music well, and makes the class so much fun for everyone! I am a stay at home mom and my daughter does not have siblings yet so I wanted to make sure she began to socialize with other young children. The music class was just what I was looking for. Parking is no issue with a large private lot. The instructions to get inside the building and to the classroom was relatively simply. We had class today and I was super impressed with how engaging Ms. Jess is. She crawled over to my baby throughout class and really made an effort to engage with her despite my daughter being being seeming unenthused. She was great at keeping everyone engaged and made sure to give each child individual attention. Admittedly, as it was my first class and we started several weeks after everyone else, I felt a little silly dancing around with my baby in my hands. But knowing I signed her up for a music class that would benefit her, however slightly at this age, made it all worth it. I loved all the props and the various stations to clean the instruments that little mouths and sticky hands explored. I am looking forward to next week and the remainder of the sessions we are signed up for!
