You can think of it as Brookhaven's version of Atlantic Station or Avalon. It's got shops, restaurants, bars, a grocery store (Publix), department store (Marshalls), movie theater (CineBistro), and homes. It's a self-contained community inside the perimeter (ITP). I've been to Town Brookhaven several times over the years to visit businesses like Bua (Thai and sushi), Newk's Eatery, Noche (tapas, now closed), the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub, and Yogurtland. I've had a friend who lived at the Windsor at Brookhaven (apartments). These days, I mainly visit Town Brookhaven to go to Costco (opened October 28, 2010). At the time of writing this review, Town Brookhaven's Costco is one of only two Costco warehouses located in Atlanta ITP. The Costco at Cumberland Mall is practically located on the perimeter. Both have gas stations and are good places to fill up due to relatively cheap prices for Top Tier fuel. In general, I think this development is fine. The property is clean. It's huge at 600,000 square feet. The design is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The buildings look modern. There are wide sidewalks, airy patios, nice landscaping, stately brick roads, and traffic circles. There's deck parking and surface level parking. This is a popular place with lots of tenants so parking may be hard to come by during peak periods. Ultimately, I've never had an issue finding parking here. Outside of perhaps Costco, I'm not sure Town Brookhaven has any shops, restaurants, or other businesses that really set it apart from other shopping centers, malls, or mixed-use developments or make it a real destination in metro Atlanta. However, if you live or work in the neighborhood or surrounding area, it's certainly nice to have all these amenities close by.

I also had a rare birthday outing here at SOHO in 2017. As for the Vinings Jubilee shopping center itself, it's nice. It's outdoors and it's designed to look like a collection of classy, old, white and brick Southern homes. I think that's the best way I can describe it. The ambiance is charming and quaint. It's got a bit of an upscale feel to it with restaurants like the aforementioned Paces & Vine and SOHO, along with an assortment of boutique shops and offices. That said, it's home to big chains too such as Banana Republic, Cold Stone Creamery, and CVS Pharmacy. Vinings Jubilee is located in the heart of Vinings, just inside the Perimeter (ITP), close to both I-285 exit 18 (Paces Ferry Road - Vinings) and 41 (Cobb Parkway) just south of Cumberland Boulevard. While this is a nice shopping center, it isn't a mall or destination like Atlantic Station or Avalon where you'd generally go to shop/browse and hang out/walk around. It's more of a place you'd go to if you're looking for or headed to a specific restaurant, retailer, or office, if that makes any sense. Note: Yelp is weird. At one point, this listing for Vinings Jubilee changed to "Boardroom Salon for Men - Vinings Jubilee." I submitted a correction and thankfully, the moderators approved it.

Westside Provisions District -- Design, dining & one of Atlanta's coolest little districts…read more Calling Westside Provisions District a "shopping center" doesn't quite do it justice. This little gem off Howell Mill Road feels more like a mini design district mixed with great restaurants, specialty shops and upscale retail. If you love interiors and design, you could easily wander around here for an afternoon. The directory includes Herman Miller, Design Within Reach, Room & Board, The Shade Store, Serena & Lily, Brick + Mortar, East Fork Pottery and Anthropologie, along with fashion and specialty retailers such as Warby Parker, Free People and lululemon. Then there's the food. Little Sparrow is here, along with Marcel, Forza Storico, Taqueria del Sol, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and several other spots. I came for dinner at Little Sparrow, but ended up enjoying the entire district. The aesthetics are fantastic. Old industrial architecture, brick, covered walkways, string lights and thoughtfully designed storefronts give the whole place character. At dusk, it becomes especially beautiful. It feels polished and affluent without turning into a sterile luxury shopping center. My one complaint: the parking. There is plenty of it, but portions of the lot are noticeably sloped. If you park farther down the incline, unloading your car or simply navigating the grade can be awkward. Watch your footing, especially after rain. Otherwise, what a fantastic little Atlanta discovery. Come for dinner, give yourself time to wander through the design stores, do a little shopping and enjoy the atmosphere. Life is too short not to travel well, so get out there and find your next destination on your journey.

I believe that the only restaurant in Lakeside Marketplace is Panera Bread. I visit the restaurants that surround Lakeside Marketplace quite often: Longhorn Steakhouse, Taco Bell, Steak & Shake & Panda Express. The Super Target here is great - huge, bright, open and well stocked. Good prices. Great place to shop for groceries plus they sell almost everything else. The staff is friendly and helpful and usually easy to find if you have a question. Parking lot is huge - no problems finding a good parking spot.
