The Cumberland mall has a little bit of everything for everyone. I stopped in for brunch, but once we ate we found ourselves checking out the stores. I made a few purchases from Banter, Tru Religion, H & M and Akira. There's so much more to choose from. There's a lot of parking available, but it is usually pretty busy so it can take time finding a spot as well. Will definitely return anytime I am in the area. read more

Worked several years in the vicinity of the Cumberland Mall. Used to drive to this mall and eat at the Food Court. Now it's located at the south end of the Mall. Everything has changed. So many new restaurants and different vendors have moved into this place. Sears left few years ago. Now there is a huge sporting goods store in that spot. It is still a great place to do some shopping and eating. For the "out of towners," it is nicely located next to major highways, or several hotels. Costco is right next to it and the Braves Stadium is within close distance. Usually customer service is nice. Clean and busy place. Plenty of parking. read more

On my way to the mall, I pull up on Cobb Parkway and see a billboard before entering the mall parking lot near the Galleria Center. The billboard could be visible in this heavily populated area for one mile. If you zoom in on my photos, you can see where the ad was explicitly about an alert ad that is affecting the Metro Atlanta area! It is never a good time to be of "at risk behavior;" on a public billboard ad is a sign that we need to be responsible and involved as a community. Not just in Atlanta Metro but across the globe, suitably. Im sure there are many factors that contribute to the numbers. I'm sure the fake food epidemic plays a part in our immune system's role as well. Some of our diets could be better without wicked ingredients; however, maintaining awareness and educational material to address these public issues can find ways to avoid their occurrences. read more

I've visited Cumberland Mall several times since I've been in Atlanta over the past 13 years. I have some quite fond memories from GTAV release to sneaker releases, Cumberland holds a special place in my heart. Throughout the last 13 years, I've seen many changes...some for the bad and some for the worst. Cumberland Mall is in Marietta close to Truist Park. The main department store is Macy's. They have your standard stores that most malls have. It's not my favorite but it's reliable. The crowd can get a little rowdy sometimes. There's been a shooting here once or twice before, so when I do go here these days, I don't stay long. read more

This mall used to be pretty prestigious but is hovering as a suburban C level Mall. The mall got an upgrade 10+ years ago and the upgrades were beautiful however many of the popular brands have closed and been replaced with Mom/Pop No name brands selling Fast Fashion items. They do have DSW, Foot Locker, Macy's and things like that, so it's not totally horrible but for it to be in the Cumberland area and near the battery, I'm very interested to see how this mall will continue to evolve in 10 years or so.... The crowd is pretty rowdy but you do have sprinkles of a more professional clientele base. There are a lot of Jewelry stores and people flagging you down to buy chains so it's just catering to the demographic. I'm just shocked that such a nice piece of real estate is not doing as good as it could but I'm sure that has to do with Mall Management and of course the increase in E Commerce. The vendors at this mall are all really really aggressive & do not take a hint that you don't want the soap slice or whatever. I had one follow me talking to me for the length of two storefronts today and it was really uncomfortable kind of freaked me out. I try to avoid this mall if possible even if it's the closest one to me. read more

This mall has changed a lot over the years. I used to really like it, but I feel like it's gone downhill in some way. Maybe it's because it used to have a lot of shops that I liked, and now a lot of the stores there don't really appeal to me or are cheesy. Cumberland Mall has been a staple in the Vinings/Cumberland/Smyrna area for years and through those years the mall has changed identities to maintain as much relevancy as possible...current times are no different for Cumberland Mall. In recent years, the standard indoor mall has taken a hit in popularity and this was clear in Cumberland Malls occupancy and variety of stores. However, in the past 12 - 18 months there has been new investment into Cumberland Mall with the recent additions of Dick's and Planet Fitness. Many of the anchor stores still remain such as Macy's, Champs, Foot Locker and Apple, and while there are several large name retailers in the mall, Cumberland has become a place for a lot of off brand/small business stores. This is something that you either enjoy or dislike about Cumberland. In addition to the retail side of things, I will say that Cumberland has always kept up with and included many great restaurants. Outside of the food court you will also find solid spots like Stoney River, Maggiano's , Buffalo Wild Wings, P.F. Changs and of course...Cheesecake Factory! Honestly, I visit Cumberland more for the food than I do the shopping. While I am not a huge mall person in general, I am happy for the positive movement Cumberland Mall is making. read more

Macy's is the only department store within the mall and the wings are occupied by Dick's Sporting Goods and Round1 arcade fun-zone. The stores mostly consist of locally owned boutiques with fast fashion. The chain stores include: Apple, Michael Kors, Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, Sephora, Mac, H&M, Build-A-Bear Workshop, and Aeropostale. I love the Cami Cakes kiosk in the center, best cupcakes ever! The food court has plenty of fast casual dining options and there are some nicer restaurants around the exterior if you prefer a more full-service dining experience: Stoney River, Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Maggianos and more. read more

Love this mall! Easy to get in and out. They seem to have a really good assortment of stores. My favorites are True Religion, White House Black Market, Pandora, Michael Kors, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Dick's, Round One, Macy's, and Cost Co. They also have an amazing collection of restaurants to include Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano's, Stoney River, and PF Changs. Recent additions include T's Brunch Bar and Ssamjung Korean BBQ, and both are amazing! The mall appears to be full with no vacancy. Looks like they have an M Vince Nail Salon that will be opening soon. I hear M Vince even has a bar inside so that you can grab a cocktail while you get your nails done! Super excited! read more

I love the culture here at this mall. Tons of stores, friendly people and good vibes. I spotted a few make up booths that I will checkout on my next visit to Atlanta. The location is great, just be ready to wait for a parking spot. This mall is pack with people and tons of things to do. Everyone wore a mask and social distance was followed in the stores. While in the mall I had to keep reminding myself what type of suitcase I packed every time I wanted to pick up additional items to bring back to Miami lol. The best thing I like about this mall is the arcade... great to bring your date, parents, kids, or just yourself to have a good time. Forgot the name of the arcade, but they have a bowling alley, arcade, bar, and a restaurant all in one. Very spacious abs tons of fun games to play. Overall, the mall was really cool and also has tons of restaurants along the outside abs Costco is right around the corner of the mall. Very convenient in the area.. I'm not a fan of this mall in general. The stores are mediocre and the overall atmosphere of the mall is not welcoming. It is usually overcrowded. I came with friend to get her ear pierced. (The only reason I was there.) They did not limit the amount of people coming into the mall which does doesn't make sense during covid. It was crowded on this day which made social distancing difficult. Also, masks were not required as some people wore them and some didn't. Either way, I was in and out. I don't see me coming back anytime soon. read more

Was visiting Atlanta and swung by this mall. The drive was long to get there, traffic was horrible and the mall did not do me any justice. The mall looks like most of the stores were closing down. The displays for stores looks raggedy. I could count the stores that were open. The mall is very small, it has an old look and old feel. The food court needs to be renovated, I would not buy water there. I gave 2 stars because they had a Forever 21, and a Bath and Body store. Never been to a mall and not purchased anything in my life. I was a little offended when a store employee in the Women's Dept, took it personally, when I objected to the receipt being emailed as opposed to a paper receipt. I told her that I understood that this was my fault and not hers. Imagine my surprise when I found her whispering and pointing to me as I continued shopping. Well as you know it's the holidays. And I decided to get out of my warm bed, just to go to Bath & Body Works to get these $9.50 candles that were on sale. I love candles but I am not want to spend almost $30 for one candle, so I always get them when they go on sale. I can't lie, the line was insane! But I was able to get in to get what I needed and get out within 25 minutes. The plus side, is that I had coupons. read more

I had a long list if things to do, but I did not want to make an extra trip to find what I thought to be the nearest USPO. I asked Yelp to find one near the area I was errand running and it listed Cumberland Mall which was literally a stone's throw from my location. Now, I was deeply hesitant because a mall + Macy's + a sale + coupons = my list getting brushed aside. Nope, not today. It was rainy, raw, and I needed to get things done. I decided to test my will power and find the post office. Unfortunately, I had parked on the Costco end of the mall under the deck near Macy's, so once inside, I had to walk all the way down through the entire landscape of the mall passing Macy's in the meantime. I keep moving and finally reached my destination. It was in the food court section. I quickly handled my business and darted out of there. On my way back to my car, I noticed how much Cumberland Mall has changed, for the better. It has become lighter, brighter, and more shopper friendly...meaning there are many more stores that one can find some good shopping in. Cumberland Mall felt a little more upscale from what I can remember. As I walked by Macy's and spied those beautiful red signs on the rack toppers, I decided that there will be others. This mall is boring and doesnt have much selection. The main stores keeping it alive are New York and Company, Macys, torrid, forever 21, champs, finish line, MAC, and sephora. Aldo always sucks, spencers always sucks, all the little no name stores suck. Coming to the mall today made me see why i prefer to shop online. The food court leaves much to be desired considering the amount you spend to eat there you can just go to PF Changs, the cheesecake factory, wild wings, or magginos. Cumberland Mall has undergone some much needed renovations over the past decade. They've added a bunch of nice chain restaurants outside of the mall such as The Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano's, P.F. Chang's, Stoney River, and Ted's Montana Grill. Inside, one of their notable retail additions over the past several years is H&M. If they didn't make these changes, this mall more than likely would have been destined for doom. The mall has enough now to make it sustainable, but it still has a *long* way to go if it wants to be like Lenox, Perimeter, and North Point. The anchor stores are Sears and Macy's, both of which I like. I've stopped by the Macy's here on my lunch break to pick up wedding gifts. Speaking of lunch, my coworkers and I occasionally stop by the food court or one of the standalone restaurants here for a bite to eat. Fresh to Order (F2O) and Jason's Deli aren't bad. At lunchtime, the eateries at Cumberland Mall get very busy with workers from nearby office parks. Apart from the dining, the assortment of retail stores is generally lacking and not very impressive. Cumberland Mall reminds me more of a small town suburban mall than a mall that belongs in metro Atlanta. 2.5 stars rounded up to 3 because I'd like to see it do well. read more

Came here with a friend who lives in the area while I was visiting ATL. This mall is very small, parking and the traffic pattern seem to be a nightmare (not sure if Costco store/gas has a role in that because that alone is always jumping), and there are several chain restaurants attached. Kind of disappointing to be right across from Battery Park/Braves stadium. This is one of those malls IMO that you come on a mission for a particular store or deal and leave. Even the Macy's was small with a minimal selection, compared to nicer and bigger malls. I wouldn't go out of the way to come here, and even if to kill time, it's so small you could walk the whole mall in under 20 mins...but would probably take 10 just to find parking. read more

Large higher end shopping destination with Macys and Sears as their main anchor stores and then the usual spread of others in between - Victoria's Secret, Lids, Aeropostale and such. The mall is on two levels, with escalators and elevators to get you from one to the other. It's a nice mall. Other than the food court that hits the highlights - tacos, sandwiches, wraps and pizza - there are restaurants outside including Cheesecake Factory, Ted's Montana Grill, PF Changs and such. Parking lot is patrolled by mall cops and there are some walking through the shopping area too. read more

There's nothing special about this mall. It's just average. It does have two floors so it's an ok spot to browse and waste time. The only anchor store is Macy's. There are so many better shopping options in the surrounding areas. Two positives are there's a P.F. Chang's and Cheesecake Factory attached to it. read more

Nice and Clean with a good Variety of Stores My Son and his wife introduced me to this Mall last year when we were looking for a location to have our Grandson's first Photo's taken with Santa. He was 4 months old at the time He's 16 months now and time for another Photo Session so back to the Mall. In addition to the Seasonal Photo's we've shopped in a couple of the stores and eaten at a couple of the restaurants. All have been satisfactory with no complaints. read more

When my spouse and a visited this mall on a recent Saturday afternoon, we were disappointed at the lack of store choice and the small size of this mall. I reminded me of some of the smaller local malls I had been in while traveling through Florida or Missouri. And, those malls were gliding swiftly towards bankruptcy. The two saving graces are that there is a Costco within walking distance of Cumberland Mall and a Ted's Montana Grill is within that complex. If you have access to transportation (or MARTA) and can get down to either Lenox Mall or Phipps Mall in Buckhead, I would recommend those as better shopping options in the Atlanta metro. I had two weddings, a bridal shower and a birthday dinner that I needed to get ready for and decided to come in to Cumberland Mall. Unfortunately most of my favorite stores are no longer there. There aren't many high end stores or formal stores at all. The only one I came across was white house black house which didn't necessarily have what I was looking for. Everything really seemed like fast fashion or a cheaper quality fashion retailers. They do have a Macy's which is the only department store however the selection was disappointing. I will say there are a lot of sneakers stores. If you wear Vans, Nike, Adidas and all of those types of shoes there is a huge selection of stores and a variety of styles for that.Overall I wasn't impressed with the selection of retail stores Cumberland Mall had to offer. I would definitely opt for another mall before coming here unless he just needed some basics for your closet or sneakers. read more

Avoid this mall. I didn't even manage to make it inside, but judging by other reviews I've read here on Yelp, I didn't miss anything... We got to town early and were sitting in the parking lot in our motorhome, when a security guard knocked loudly on the door. He demanded that I put my jacks up because having one's jacks down was permanent but having them up meant you were shopping. I'm not sure how that logic makes any sense at all, but it was enough for him to be angry, hostile, and 100% uninterested in my explanation about the jacks' purpose. I was travelling with two dogs and a handicapped child, so the jacks make the RV stable (and keep the safety circuit in the 'frige from turning off) and level, which is handy when you already have a hard time walking. We parked at the very edge of the parking lot. What a very sad and angry encounter (his anger, my sadness). The world is full of ugliness and it makes no sense to create it for the sake of inflating one's ego. So in the end, I called the mall office to complain (did you get the message Ms. Woods?), the guard came back 30 minutes later and was even more angry and ugly that I had the audacity to still have my jacks down. What was the point of this hostility? Doesn't this mall want me to shop here? I had a new (2007) motorhome that was clean and in good condition. I was polite to the security guard even though he was hostile, curt, and extremely rude. I would say that any mall that has employees like this doesn't have enough regard for its customers, and I have no plan to reward this treatment with my business. Think twice about this when you choose a mall to spend your hard-earned money... This mall doesn't care about you, just your money. Very sad and disappointing. :-( read more
