My Granddaughter was a student with Karl for a year and a half. During that time his instruction took her from being a novice musician with no experience to being honored twice by being selected to the district honor band. I have no doubt that this progress came about because of the quality of Karl's instruction. Karl is exceptional in that he is not only expert at a very difficult skill but in that he has exceptional interpersonal skills and thus was able to make each learning experience fun. My granddaughter not only enjoyed each lesson but eagerly looked forward to the next one. I was also impressed with the his ability to target each lesson so that it always seemed that what my granddaughter was learning was exactly what she needed at that time in time and yet never frustrated her. In my opinion the experience we had was a six star experience on a five star scale. If you select Karl as your music teacher you are in for a wonderful experience.
