3 stars because it tasted good but not the best. Presenatation neat. Arepa stuffing poor. It looks loaded with meat but that's just on top in the middle and bottom nothing. A bunch of beans rarely cheese and two small plantains. I loved the concept of the place since they have sushi, pizza, healthy options and a Venezuela food but it wasn't the best I've tried. This place was such a pleasant surprise!!! I was in the area for my sons wrestling competition and not knowing what would be available gluten free I yelped it and went to visit. The place was spacious and clean; very inviting. Immediately the service was nice and friendly I told them I had a gluten allergy and they gave me all the option which were plentiful. The food was spectacular, particularly the gluten free pizza didn't taste gluten free! The texture was amazing. Not pictured I had for desert and almond flour, pistachio cake drizzled with dulce de leche; it was to die for!! The moisture, flavor, texture was to perfection. Went last Saturday for breakfast after a quick workout. I heard so many great things about this place. The moment I arrived I was greeted. There was only two other customers. I was given a menu and I asked for a coconut milk coffee and some water. One employee was on her phone and the waiter was just standing around. After about 10min of waiting I had to ask the waiter to bring me water. I ordered the spinach empanada and the spinach quinoa waffle with strawberries and bananas. I asked the server to bring me some syrup and I disliked it as it smelled and tasted like honey. Not a fan of the syrup at all. They have 3 totally different menus to choose from. The sano food which is a healthy option, Venezuelan food, and sushi. I think they went for a food hall type of business when they opened this place. It was my first time being here, the place was nice and clean, and they have a cute wall decorated with a chair, neon light, and that fake grass (perfect for cute pics). I ordered the grilled salmon with spaghetti squash, and Alfredo sauce. It was a big portion, and it was very tasty. The salmon was nice and flakey, the Alfredo sauce was a bit salty but it balanced out once I mixed it in with the spaghetti squash. I'd definitely like to come back and try some of the other food options. read more

Fool me one shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. This was my fault, short term memory. I ordered the panini again and again we got a whole wheat hogtie stuffed with cheese, nothing Sano (which means healthy) about it. Now they have three menus which confuses the staff big time. I ordered stuff I read was on the menu online and the person taking my order needed help finding the stuff. I just hope I can remember to avoid this place, at least the Hialeah store. read more

I actually came to the area looking for another restaurant but to my surprise was closed today, perhaps due to the pandemic they did not made it .. any ways , Sano Food called my attention becaus the place was very welcoming and I liked the decor and the look, I felt the nice environment and even when I was not 100% in the idea to eat healthy today I gave it a try. The person at the counter was super polite and nice , she made a couple of recommendations and finally I ordered a Goat cheese and apple panini and to drink te de Jamaica it was good . They advertise amazing items but they don't know how to make food. A "panini" is not a hotdog texture type of bread and untoasted! I should have taken it back. It was very expensive to begin with. It went straight to the garbage. First time in there. Trying to eat more healthily so I've been looking for vegetarian or vegan places to eat. This is a fairly new location to our area. The place is not kept as clean as it should be considering Covid. Some tables were still messy and unsanitized after customers and the place was not busy at all. So that would not be an excuse. None of the employees speak English so I had to point to what I wanted , was asking questions like for coconut water and they didn't understand. Took a while for the cashier to ring me up, but again I'm considering because the place is new maybe they're still learning. I may give them another try in the future but until then I'm still on the search for good vegan/veggie places. read more

Service was okay except for the fact that the waitress kept eyeing me the entire time making me feel very uncomfortable. Food is wayyy over priced for a wine glass portion yup they serve their smoothies and coffees in wine glasses and charge you 10.99 for it when it honestly taste bland. Food is also over priced for small portions but what can you expect from a place like this pretty on the outside bad in the inside. Excellent quality food and service but excessively expensive; I ordered an arepa and a juice and finally paying $26; they charged me $5 only for extra cheese in my arepa that was a mix ( mozzarella & feta ) and I just requested mozzarella and they give a wrong base but I like them all. I am so disappointed in this place. I decided to give them a second chance. However I was truly disappointed to come here. I wanted to buy a packet of matcha wafers and they couldn't accept cash because they didn't have any change. I had forgotten my wallet at home and was only carrying cash with me. I left very disappointed and then I came back a third time to buy those tasty matcha wafers only to encounter arrogance and condescending attitude from cashiers/servers. What really bothered me was that they refused to speak English even when confronted with this the server/ cashier laughed in my face and gave me a smirk with her eyes. Another cashier/ waitress there who spoke English said that English was not the official language of the United States and that they did not have to speak it if they did not want to because they are mainly located in a predominant Hispanic community. It left me feeling discriminated against in my own country. It felt pretty racist specially because the servers/ cashiers would not stop laughing about the matter and did not care to deliver appropriate costumer service. I don't ever want to go back there again. The service is terrible . The food is completely overpriced, and depending on the hay you order it can also be pretty vapid or badly misrepresented.
