First of all parking is super easy as there are plenty of parking spots all around the building. It's located on the 3rd floor and just follow the scent of incense once out of the elevators. The studio itself is super clean and very welcoming. Our instructor Shakti was amazing. She had the perfect pace which was great and accommodating for all levels. Her voice is very soothing and encouraging. I truly enjoyed her giving us options and letting us go at our own speed while at the same time keeping us focused on our breathing. In the end, my body felt sore but my mind felt clear. The perfect reset from the busy day to day of Miami hustle. She truly cares about her students - meeting them where they're at but also challenging them. Madalay's style of yoga combines breathing techniques known as pranayama, as well as Iyengar traditional methods which focus on correct alignment and positioning of each pose. She has a variety of classes all the way from Mommy & Me to private instruction; she teaches men and women, children, expecting mothers, and senior citizens. She believes that no one is ever too young or too old for yoga, and that every BODY, regardless of gender or size, can enjoy the benefits. She has an outdoor class on Saturday mornings at Stafford Park at 9am (weather permitting), and a variety of classes throughout the week at her studio, which is located in the Stadnik Building on the 2nd floor. After being a member for over a year, I ended up cancelling my membership tonight because of an interaction at the front desk that honestly left a bad impression. There's a new front desk interesting looking girl I had never seen before who clearly didn't seem familiar with how the studio normally operates. I don't pay for a monthly membership and drive 30 minutes to class almost every day just to be left sitting there until after class had already started before being let in off the waitlist despite being first in line. My attendance history clearly shows I'm never late , more than usual sign up early , and never no-show my classes, so the whole interaction felt unnecessary and awkward especially with her just looking at me rather than accommodating or welcoming. Fix your face girl. Lastly, Ani is the only trainer I've ever had an issue with there. The last class I ever took with her , I paused to stretch (after sleeping in a bad position the night before) and she came up to me with an unnecessary attitude saying, "This isn't a stretching class." That interaction alone made me avoid taking her classes again and just avoid greeting her in the hallway. Aside from that, and Nikki who occasionally has an attitude , everyone else was always amazing. It's honestly a shame to walk away from a place I genuinely enjoyed for so long, and I just hope the studio doesn't head downhill.

When you walk into the gym, everyone is hard at work, and it's such a motivating environment. I decided to come here after debating whether or not I wanted to compete in a Bikini competition and finally deciding to take the leap. After working out on my own for so many years, I decided it was time to really challenge myself and accomplish this goal. My trainer Christine was amazing in accommodating my schedule, and even competes herself! Loleta also provides meal and plans which are proven to work. What I love the most is the safe environment this gym provides. Being a young woman, it can be intimidating going to a gym by yourself at first, but everyone here treats you like family. In a separate incident, the owner also resorted to Instagram after I was assisted by other members attempting to correct my form on an exercise I had just learned. She told her Instagram followers that I had a casual conversation with them, which she knew was not true because I had already explained to her what ACTUALLY happened. Nevertheless, she proceeded to ask her followers for "their thoughts", knowing exactly what those thoughts would be. This led to an attack on social media about my IQ and judgement. The owner's disclosure of my age without my consent, and her precipitating an attack on social media against me was extremely unprofessional.

We signed up for an introductory price and went it the very next day. I'm so excited to say that I am very happy we stumbled upon this place because the introduction class alone was amazing! Master Sean is very knowledgeable and his energy is amazing! He was very thorough and the class felt so personalize. It was just the three of us. Went over our flexibility, balance and he even checked out heart and sacral chakras! We have been to 2 amazing classes so far and can't wait to have many more!
