I rarely give 5 stars. But...this was such a great experience. Fresh, well prepared food,…read moreamazingly kind service, deep wine list, pleasant ambiance, good value. As with other reviewers, the owner came and explained the menu to us. We were 5 so we ended up sharing 4 appetizers and 5 entrees. Had we known how much food it would be, we might have dialed it back but we wanted to try all the things. The predominant themes in our meals were red shrimp, mackerel and sardines. For starters we shared: The local red shrimp with salt and pepper. I cannot remember the last time I had shrimp so fresh. The flavors was amazing. If you're an American, be advised that these are head on. The anchovy balls with tomato sauce, like arrancini but with anchovies instead of rice. The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful as were the anchovy balls. The fresh local mackerel over salad with lemon vinaigrette., the lemon vinaigrette made the mackerel come alive. So good and substantial. And the eggplant appetizer which made for a nice pure veggie balance. For entrees we had the anchovy pasta, the red shrimp pasta, the local mixed grill of calamari, mackerel and jumbo red shrimp and the grilled tuna. We all shared each other's plates and I can't say there was a true favorite. The flavors were great in each dish. Finally the wine list....I want to say it was at least 30 bottles of well priced Italian varietals. We had the Pecorino which my son agreed was the smoothest nicest wine he had sampled. The staff was just so welcoming and kind. I am glad we went and grateful to past Yelpers for steering us here.,

Also best Aperol spritz I've ever had, made by the very kind server. Great selection of local wines as well. You really can't go wrong with this place.

L'Unico - Linguine with anchovies (my wife's favorite pasta dish from our week in Italy). Deliciously fishy.

Absolutely wonderful experience, family run place with outstanding service and incredible food. I had the pasta with light tomato/oil and seafood (mussels, clams, scampi etc). 10/10 rating, definitely recommend and hope to return again some day. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g187781-d2478112-r1034005822-Osteria_Dedicato_a_Mio_Padre-Salerno_Amalfi_Coast_Province_of_Salerno_Campania.html#

I think i got luckyy, she said hers tasted like it had been put through the dishwasher once bread was fully just rocks from the Amalfi cliffs themselves. giving three stars because the family running was SO SWEET and friendly and made us feel at home. gave everyone free savory pastry when seated and i wanted to love this place, even had yelp out with a drafted 5 star review before the food came out :( i would go again!! but ONLY for the zucchini spaghetti!!!
