My quest for fruit tamales continues! I asked for a sweet tamale after getting blank stares with fruit. I ended up with a corn tamale and some sort of half sweet dipping sauce. Very good but not what I wanted. "May I have a cup of ice water?" "Nooooo..." She brought me a cup of ice. Clean and pleasant if a bit pricey, this place has loads of charm and the tamale was tasty.

Will DEF. be back! Was craving for some Pupusas and boy did this place hit the spot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Friendly too!

They always carefully package to-go orders, even gave me a box!

This place is always poppin! It's always a good time when I walk in, they have the Latin music on loud and you can watch the music videos on their huge tv. My toddler loves it here and always busts out in dance when we walk in haha! Santa Ana cafe is a delicious surprise nestled quietly next to a liquor store on the east side of town. I've driven past it so many times because it's easy to miss, but once you find it you'll never forget it. They prepare and cook delicious pupusas made to order! It's usually a sweet little grandma which you can see making them behind the register. I think I've tried them all and my favorites are the spinach with cheese as well as the squash and cheese. The cabbage topping is my favorite though! I don't know what it is about it but it's the best I've tried in town! It's zesty and refreshing and really makes the dish stand out. My second favorite is the coctel de camarón, it's perfect for a hot day but I love it year round. They don't skimp on the avocado and it's always thick and full of flavor! It's a very spacious restaurant and can easily accommodate large groups as well as children. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because sometimes the dishes are inconsistent with flavor/texture but for the most part still great! Give it a try!

Bahahaha I hate when people post food pics like this but the take out was great.

I've been here before and I thought it was okay. It I ordered take out off of yelp and I was really surprised. I love Central American food. Their tamales are a so good. I love them wrapped in banana leaves and how soft the masa is. Aside from that I order red pupusas. I've never had such flavorful filling in my life. The chicharrones was amazing. Salty and with a bite was a great contrast to the slaw. The cheese one was good and so was the mixed one. The masa was so soft and thin and crisp on the outside. I'm drooling talking about it. There's a huge chain in VEGAS that does Central American food but this is so much better. Central American food is similar to Mexican food but also super different. I recommend people to check out these mom and pop places to let you get a taste of a some amazing food. Also they quoted me a super late time and I went early and my food was ready fast.

Such a great little hidden gem! I was down the street getting some work done on my car and I decided to walk here for some lunch and I am so pleasantly surprised. You're able to order to go or sit down and be served restaurant style! Even was brought some chips & salsa when I sat down, which I wasn't expecting. The waitress was so sweet and quick with her service with the ENTIRE restaurant! I ordered a pupusa and chilaquiles which were both so so good. Took about 20 minutes to come out, but that's alright, they were really busy. Tastes like home style cooking and it's super inexpensive. Highly highly recommend to stop by if you're in the area(:

Everything was so good! Pupusas are big and perfect. My favorite was the calabasa y queso..squash and cheese. I was craving platanos fritos and theirs did not disappoint. They even had Cola Champagne, which I haven't has in ages. They make everything by hand, so give your order some time. It was worth the wait.

The best pupusas to date. The curtido was really good. Pupusas are big, bigger than a tortilla to keep in mind.

The very most authentic best tasting food by far in Las Vegas, mostly Spanish speaking staff but definitely great!

Sunday lunch calls for some yummy pupusas. I drove out of the way for this local food truck on the…read morecorner of Charleston and Bruce, east of the strip. Lot's of road construction. So be prepared for traffic. The little pupusa truck is literally on the corner of a yellow-colored autoshop. It was 98 degrees out and probably the reason why there was no line. I splurge and got 5 pupusas...Lorocco pupusa, Zucchini pupusa, Spinach pupusa, Cilantro pupusa and Jalapeño pupusa. Each costs $2.00. 5 pupusas for $10.00 is a great deal. I5 minutes later, the order was ready. Make sure to ask for extra cabbage and red sauce. Once home, I got a plate and prepped the jalapeño pupusa with cabbage and sauce. Umm, umm, good. Fresh and hot out of the aluminum foil. Can't wait to try the others for dinner tonight.

FIRST-- I was so MAD that I called Wednesday, they didn't pick up so I drove down there. The truck…read morewasn't there, so I called to see if they were in a different location-- but they weren't. So I called again, and they text me their work schedule: Thursday-Sunday from 9am to 7pm. NOW^ Regardless of YELPs fault for not having their hours and me not waiting for them to answer, their Pupusas are AMAZING!!! I ordered 2 1/2 dozens (30) pupusas for under $40... They are a bit small, but PERFECTLY made. The Rebultas (beans and cheese) were so perfectly moist yet crispy, and the chicharrón were too. I didn't try the cheese only, but I'm sure it was great too! I look forwards to going back and trying ALL their flavors :) Definitely going to return and take friends too. Too bad it's 25 minutes from me. Service: The cashier was very very nice. The 30 pupusas were ready in 30 minutes. My advice, order ahead like the other Yelpers said. I ordered mine in person, but I went grocery shopping across the street before picking them up. Environment: the community is okay.. not the best. There is no sit down place, so you would need to eat them in your car or take them home. Parking: The Pupusa truck is next to an oil change location, so there is plenty of parking around. Feedback: I only wish this place was open late at night after a few drinks :P ‍
