We ordered 3 pupusas de queso, 1 pupusa de pollo con queso, and 2 pupusas de chicharrón con queso. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but it was warm and flavorful. So that was the aim, just to try that and it didn't disappoint indeed this hot drink is a delicious treat specially in a cold Sunday morning which is when we went. The place was already filled up to 5 tables, it is a small area but certainly the host were nice. It was not loud with music, just pleasant for sure. We did also have some pupusas which I ordered three but because they are well sized I could've gotten away with just two. The menu on the wall was in Spanish, the server definitely realized I was struggling so she explained each one then handed me a menu which had everything in English and Spanish. She brought out chips and salsa while we waited, which is my favorite. The salsa was mad spicy but the chips were over fried, so I didn't really want to eat them. They are made big with a lot of filling. I'm a fan of greasy pupusas and they are the perfect amount of greasy, lol! I also really enjoy their fried tamales, such great flavor and not too overwhelming. They have pupusa specials regularly, we always go for the dozen because they're just as tasty the following day.
