Can you say delicious carnitas and tortas ahogadas??! Los Tres Cochinitos is definitely a hidden gem on the far East Side of Las Vegas. It sits on the corner of Nellis and Stewart in a quiet little shopping plaza. It took over an old establishment and it's definitely making an impression on the locals. The inside was very clean and welcoming. The interior was simple but homy. It brings vibes of CDMX. The walls lines with pictures of cantantes some of us grew up listening to. The rich, hearty smell of the carnitas brought back memories of waking up on a Sunday morning with Chente blaring in the background with the smell of warm tortillas and carnitas in the air. I ordered a variety of things to get a real taste of what this place has to offer. First were the al pastor tacos. Topped with fresh onions and cilantro, the flavor was deep and rich. You can tell that the meat was properly marinated. Juicy, tender and packed full of flavor. The used a single Tortilla per taco which I really appreciatd appreciated. A nice helping of protein made them 3 bite tacos (i have a big mouth ). 5 out of 5. Next were the buche tacos (pig stomach). If a taco establishment can perfect these tacos, I'll be your customer for life smile ! Buche when cooked wrong tends to be very tough and chewy. These were so soft and tender that as I chewed it was practically melting in my mouth. The rich and fatty flavor was to die for. The buche gets a 10 out of 5!! A definite must. Next was the chicharrón Tacos Al Vapor. These were just okay in my opinion. The chicharrón was a little dry but definitely flavorful. I'd still give them another try. Lastly was the divine, carnitas torta Ahogada. Carnitas are tender, juicy and full of porky delicious flavor. The bread was this delicious, flaky light and fluffy French bread. The exterior was so crunchy that it soaked up the juice immediately when dipping it. The initial bite of the torta was crunchy on the outside and soft and doughy on the inside. The bread definitely held up and was the perfect consistency for this delicious torta! I appreciate a restaurant that can perfect and specialize in a few dishes and Los Tres Cochinitos has definitely done just that.

I stumbled across this little spot driving to Walmart. It was such a gem. The inside was very nice. The girl that was my server was super sweet. I hadn't had birria de chivo in a while and it sounded good so I ordered it. It came out super fast, Piping hot and with bomb assss tortillas. Highly recommend anyone to try this. I will definitely be coming back and bring company with me to experience the food.

No lie, this specific location is probably the biggest cash cow on the strip racking in millions of dollars. I love their highly popular Al pastor meat; its crisp edges and tender texture makes it the best. It has just enough sweetness from the pineapple but not too sweet. The creamy green/white sauce poured on top is EVERYTHING! It tastes perfect. I have to have 6 tacos ($4) each every time. Pair these tacos with a plate of grilled onions and jalapeños too! The business comes in waves but notice the early afternoons are the lightest with a quick wait time. If you come at night/late night, the wait time standing can be about 25 mins even. Tacos El Gordo is THE ONE!!

There is a small free parking lot which is convenient given its proximity to the Strip. There are lines for each meat that you want. Just a tip that there are two adobada lines which are usually the longest. Go to the one that's shorter for a shorter wait. We ordered the adobada ($4.12) and asada ($4.12) tacos. The adobada meat was okay and didn't have as much flavor as other locations I've had. I liked the meat of the asada and could taste and smell the char. It was more tender and the taco was slightly bigger. Adobada is usually my favorite overall taco but this time I preferred the asada more. There are lots of tables and is a bigger space than other locations. It's a good taco spot but they also sell fries and other Mexican fare.

I had the mahi mahi tacos and they were too much for me, in part because they came with three sides, all delicious. My husband had the carne asada quesadilla and enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I tried the lime margarita, also excellent, and we couldn't leave without trying the churros for dessert. The ambience is lovely, with gorgeous decor, comfortable booths, and an excellent Hispanic music playlist. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Big shoutout to our server, Brandy, who knew just when to replace the lemonade, and suggested the excellent street corn. We will be back very soon!

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

It was honestly some of the blandest Mexican food I've had, and nothing we ordered really stood out. It also felt a bit like a tourist trap. A simple frozen margarita was around $20, and the menu seemed pretty limited. I've since heard they're mostly known for their giant tortas, so maybe that's what they're best at. The service was fine, but the overall ambiance felt a little off. There was also a noticeable smell throughout the restaurant that made it seem like there might be plumbing issues. Sadly, the nostalgia wasn't enough to make up for the food, and I don't see myself coming back.

The ambiance in here is so fun as is the fire show girl. The music is loud so I wouldn't bring kids here. Definitely more of an adult, romantic restaurant for couples, groups, or girls night out. We started with the chips and salsa, guacamole, calamari, hamachi, and caesar salad. All were incredible. Their salsa is more thick and creamy and not too spicy! Guacamole was delicious and flavorful. It came with plantain chips, but we preferred the normal chips. Calamari was perfectly cooked, not chewy, and came with a green salsa sauce. The sauce didn't have much flavor. This dish could be elevated by adding a spicy pepper or spicy aioli as the sauce! Caesar salad portion was huge! Perfectly coated sauce, a little kick, and so delicious! For drinks, I tried their new wellness mocktail, the Alchemist. Though it was tasty, it was a very small glass, which I didn't feel was worth $16. For entrees, we had the ribeye and New York strip. We had the side of whipped potatoes, corn, and truffle fries. Both steaks were delicious, but a little under cooked for both of them. Whipped potatoes were smooth and fabulous. Corn was better than I expected! Like elote style but it's not on the cob. Truffle fries were very tasty, but just like any average curly fry. For dessert, we had the platter with a variety of 3 desserts. All of them were AMAZING! The warm cake was like a butter cake with ice cream, the strawberry tres leches was light and sweet, and the brownie was rich! All of the desserts had fresh berries. We paired our desserts with an americano. We left so full and happy. What an amazing restaurant. I can't wait to come back.
