Went in 8/5 for an AC evacuate & recharge ($220). AC still wasn't blowing cold afterward, so I brought it back under warranty. They found the actual issue was a bad A/C pipe -- but I had to wait through the entire weekend for the part to arrive before it could be fixed on 8/10 ($270.02 more). No proactive updates either time; I had to check in myself. Total cost ended up around $490 and I missed several days of work waiting on repairs that should've been diagnosed correctly the first time. Front desk staff who handle payment didn't communicate about delays. I'd look elsewhere for AC work. read more

Last Saturday morning : November 15th, 2025, I drove through heavy rain to get my car tires checked because the tire pressure light had popped up. I also thought it was time for an oil change, so I stopped by this shop. I came here through my brother's recommendation, and I was very satisfied and highly recommend this place. First of all, they were very honest, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly, and the small waiting area had coffee available. It was a small space but clean and comfortable, which was good. After the service, my car now drives smoothly on the freeway with no issues. I had my two front tires replaced and also got an oil change done here. I think I'll continue coming back to this place in the future. read more

I usually go this mechanic for the engine oil change or regular check up etc. They have really reasonable price for the synthetic engine oil and the tire costs. They are very honest and they will let you know what needs to be if there's issues but if there's no issues they are not making things up to make extra money off of you. My whole family goes there for engine oil changes and any other services. If you are looking for a good mechanic and who is honest, you found the right spot and these guys are much better than the dealer service. Also, they are really quick for the service and a lot more affordable. Check this place if you need a good mechanic, it is hard to find a good one these days. read more

I wouldn't recommend this auto/tire shop. I went in to get my brakes done and noticed they were messing around with other parts of my car that had nothing to do with the brakes. On top of that, they swapped out two of my good front tires and tried to claim I needed new ones. Unless you're standing over their shoulder the whole time, I wouldn't trust what they're doing. If you're young, don't know much about cars/mechanical work, or look like they can take advantage of you they'll try. Don't let them. I pulled up to one of the garage entrances at this location, waited a couple of minutes until one of the guys walked up to me and asked what he could help with, I asked him how much he'd charge to change the brake pads on my car for front and back with me providing the pads, I just needed them installed. He let me know to go talk to the manager who was by the front office and he'd give me a price. I walked over to the much younger guy and waited for him to get off the phone and help the lady that was before me, he then asked me how he could help me and I asked how much they would charge to install the brakes on my 2012 Camry just for the installation as I had brought the brake pads with me. He asked me if they were OEM to which I replied yes they are, he looked at me, looked at the car and goes "120" pauses I say Okay and then says "120 for the front and 120 for the back" for a whopping 240 dollars just for labor. Now I have done many brake jobs myself and was in a hurry to get these done. I looked at the guy and said "Daaamn. Thank you, have a great one" drove down the street a couple more blocks to the strip on Santa Monica right before Gower street with all the mechanic shops in that strip and got taken care of for 70 dollars for the front and 70 Dollars for the back. Paid a total of 140 for the same job this guy wanted to charge me 240 dollars for. Stay away from this place if you don't know anything about cars. They'll definitely try to take advantage of you. read more

I got a nail in my right rear tire and needed a quick fix; either a patch or new tire. Arturo immediately greeted me and was extremely honest and helpful. Being a woman, I am often ripped off or lied to about the condition of my vehicle. I asked Arturo if I needed a new tire and he said I wouldn't want to lie to you and make you pay more if you didn't need a new one so let me check the condition on your tire. I ended up genuinely needing a new tire and I also replaced my other rear one as well since it was losing tread and could be dangerous to drive on. The prices were so reasonable and some of the best i've found in LA. Also, I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I will go here for any car issues starting today!! My AC went out last year. And I took it to a couple of places to figure out what the issue was. I know enough about the AC to know that it wasn't the fan, nor the refrigerant being out. It had to be the compressor or a leak in one of the lines. Id called around to a couple of shops and of course they would BS me about it and give me a ridiculous quote (over $1,000-$1200 not including labor) without even seeing the car. I have a friend who is a Mechanic, so I took my car to him. He said that to really know whats wrong with the AC, Id have to go to a specialty shop, because not all shops have the proper equipment to test the AC. And it's a very labor intensive process. But he recommended Santa and said he's had great experiences with them and trusts them. So I called, made an appointment and came in the next day. They said it would be $190 for to test everything for the AC. And after testing the AC, they found that the compressor was out. They quoted me $800 (labor included) for the brand name compressor. And then quoted $600 (labor included) for an alternative brand that had just as good ratings. And they said that the $190 I paid for the AC test would go towards the compressor replacement, if I wanted to go through with it. And the quote was good for 6 months. I planned to replace the compressor 3-4 months later. I did call to try to make an appointment a few times. I did have a change in my work schedule, so I think that the shops lunch time was the same as mine. So nobody would answer when I would call. And unfortunately there was a death in my family that required my significant other and I to fly out to another country for a month. And pay for a funeral. And when we got back, the quote expired. I called again when I got back and didn't get an answer for 2 days. The third day, someone answered. And I asked if I could get the compressor replaced same day as drop off, he said yes, that they would abide by my quote but since it was expired, the $190 could no longer be put toward the $600. I understood. He said to make sure I make an appointment for when they first open, so it would be ready by 3-4pm for pick up. I tried to work out a schedule so I could drop off, and my significant other could pick-up. I called back to schedule the compressor replacement. The guy who answered was very very different from when I called the 2 other times and when I originally came in for the AC test. The guy who answered was extremely rude and when I told him that I already had a quote. He said "Well I guess. You still have to bring it in so we can test it and see". He was not registering what Id already told him. He didnt bother to look up my quote and kept insisting that I come by to have the car tested. And I said "I already talked to someone about this, I just need to make an appointment". And I clarified that nothing has changed because I work remote 80%, so my car is barely driven. He just replied "Ok come by. We'll see." He refused to make an appointment and said to just show up. I called for 2 more days in a row the 2nd week, to try to speak with the original person Id spoken with about making an appointment, but no answer. I called back the third week and finally was able to make an appointment. They abided by the original quote which was nice. The AC works better than when I bought the car, so Im very happy. The only thing that was disappointing was that it was hard to make an appointment because nobody answers at around lunch time (noon-1pm). And it wasnt just the time I called before my quote expired. But it took an additional 3 weeks of calling after my quote had expired to reach someone. And the person I spoke to was very problematic. So I had to wait longer by calling back to make sure I spoke to a person who cared and knew what they were doing and made an appointment for me. read more

They do a good job at a fair price and I never feel like they are cheating me because I am a female. These guys are great! Top notch customer service. My tire pressure light came on just before I had a long (5-6 hour) drive ahead of me. I always find stopping as a gas station to to deal with a coin-operated compressor to be a huge hassle, and as a woman, I often don't feel comfortable doing that sort of thing alone and on display at a corner gas station. I called Santa Auto to see if they had time to put some air in my tires, and the man on the phone said, "Sure! Come by, it'll take 5 minutes." I went straight over, was directed to a stall/parking spot where someone started checking the tires, and I really was in and out in 5 minutes. I can't speak to their services because I never received it. I however, can speak to their poor customer service. The gentleman working on the car realized because of my air suspension he could not Jack up the car. His boss then got involved and lowered and locked my air suspension, but turned off my engine before my car was fully lowered. I asked the guys to stop working on my car until I could finalize the locking. After that the boss refused to offer service to me because apparently his ego was bruised. He mentioned that he has been in the business a long time. I also have been around and know my car. I absolutely recommend that you skip this shop because when you disagree with the owners judgement, who knows what they will do to your car in retaliation.
