First time using. Needed A/C service for a 2013 Altima. Had this a/c issue for a good 5 yrs. Taken it to the dealer, was recommended to get a new compressor...next place "we added freon". Would eventually get cool but after maybe about 15-20 min. Finally brought it here. Was expecting them to say, I have to leave it for a diagnosis. No. I called and asked if they provided A/c service about 11 a.m. they said yes. Can I bring it today? Yes. Brought it in and was real skeptical because he just sounded way too sure what it was after I explained my issue and figured it had to be something more complicated. He even gave me a time it would probably be done. My head said, "he hasn't even looked at it yet" sure enough 4:00 came a call came and said it's ready. Walked a few blocks to pick it up. No bad news. Did exactly what he said and it works. This is the 3rd place after 5 yrs. I don't have a lot of time as we work a lot to take the time for car service. This place came through. Needed to get a smog for my license renewal. Went on Yelp and created a project to get some pricing from Smog places in the area. Armen responded fairly quickly with the price for the smog, no games or special hoops to just through, thank you very much. Price seemed right for a smog check and cert. and I liked how he was straight forward and helpful. Decided to go the following day, no appointment necessary, Armen said it would take maybe 30-45 minutes. I was ok with the time, planned on working while waiting. When I arrived, Greg was there and helped me, very friendly and took me right away. No wait. I started working on my computer and before I really got much done, he came back and my car was ready passed and cert. transmitted to the DMV, all less than 10 minutes. Out the door price with a $10 discount was $53. (As of Sept. 2025). Excellent service, fast service, straight forward reasonable pricing is a recipe for success. Greg is now licensed to do regular and STAR smogs . I went in at 8:30 and was out in 30 minutes. Husbands 2011 nissan altima passed without any problems , documents printed . The great part , Greg did a major repair on the car a few months ago that wasn't going to pass . It was a manifold problem and the exhaust smell was going to kill my husband if he drove it any longer . The repair was extensive but gave us probably 3 more years to drive this car at 121k miles . My grandson took his car here because he heard the breaks squeak on his car and was told by this shop he needed brakes and rotors and was also quoted $650.00, I sold him the car a couple of weeks ago and had the brakes and rotors changed last year at Tire Pros. I had no clue my grandson took his car to this shop, when I got home he told me they charged 800.00 to change both even though it didn't need it. I called the shop to speak to the owner and the person on the line was extremely defensive when I questioned the work and the charge, he would not listen so I decided to drive to the shop, The owner Armin came out if the shop charging at me as well as several employee! I told him that work did not need to be done and they took advantage of a kid. I picked up the parts they removed and left the premise. I highly recommend tire pros for any work like that not this shop. I took my 2008 Hybrid Nissan Altima to Yosemite Auto Care because my car could not pass the smog test - I've been dealing with this issue since early April. I took my car to several auto mechanics and Greg was the first one to determine that I needed to replace my hybrid battery. After I replaced the hybrid battery, my car could still not pass the smog test. I took my car back to Greg and he determined what the issue was and after this issue was fixed, my car was able to pass the smog test. Thank you Greg! read more

Called and spoke to Greg. Asked if they could throw a vacuum pump on an EGR valve to test quickly which takes 1-2 minutes literally. He said "no I want the car for a whole day because I'm not gonna waste my time testing the one valve" he also said "he wants it for a day because he doesn't want to be called every hour for updates". They also charge $175 for diagnostic. Came off extremely rude and unprofessional. You don't tell a returning customer that you're not gonna waste your time and don't want to be called every hour. I needed a smog certificate for a vehicle I just got from out of state, and Greg was a huge help! The car had a cold air intake installed which was going to be an issue but he told me to check with the manufacturer for a CARB number. I had no idea about this process. But he was correct and I was able to find the CARB approval for the particular air intake and my vehicle and the associated CARB number which made it legal in California. And it passed and I got the smog certificate so I can register it here. That was a HUGE relief as I thought I might have to tear it out and buy all stock parts to pass smog. I had 3 major body work areas on my car that needed repair and Lee and his team did such an exceptional job that it looks just like new. Their pricing is very fair. My 2019 Honda civic was running funny after getting an oil change at the dealership. My car kept stalling while driving it and smoke was coming out of the motor and from the back of the car. I took my car to one mechanic in Sun Valley which someone had referred me to but they said they could not find anything wrong with my car. So I picked up my car and low and behold the problem kept occurring. My daughter referred me to Gevik at Yosemite Auto and he told me to bring my car in so he could take a look at it. He had checked my car's oil and was shocked to find out that the dealership had filled my oil 5x the limit. He said I was lucky that I didn't blow my engine driving it around like that. The plastic cover under my car came off after driving through the water. I brought my car to this shop for them to fix it up. It is close to my house so i just brought my car without asking for the price. Big mistake on my part. The guy just took off the plastic cover under my car. He worked on it for about 15-20 mins and thats it. I thought it would not cost much, so i did not bother asking for the price. I see the hourly rate of the shop is 95/ hour. So i guess the cost would be around $50 and i would be fine with it. But its NOT. The owner or the front desk guy tell me the Hourly of the shop is 95. He admitted the guy worked on my car for less than an hour, but he "have to" charge me $95 for 15 mins of work just to take off the loose cover under my car. Please please avoid this auto repair shop at all cost. They will try to overcharge you for a small amount of work. read more

HONEST! I took my car to Yosemite because a rat had died inside my car and was decomposing. The smell was palatable in the worst way. They had my car for a full day, took it apart, couldn't find the rat, cleaned the rugs in the hopes they could get the smell out, and then because they couldn't find it (first time ever for them), they didn't charge me for labor. I was only charged the inspection fee. I cannot tell you how unexpected and appreciated that was. And shampooing my carpets did help! They were so kind and explained everything. They took pictures of the different stages of the search and texted me with updates. I would absolutely recommend Yosemite Auto Care to anyone with a rat problem (I saw the pictures of car interiors of ones they did catch) or needing any automotive care! read more

Came in as a I had a small radiator leak. Without even looking at the car, I was told that it would cost $800... to replace a $200 radiator. Took my car over to Shortee's off of 1st St. They ran some test, kept my car overnight for morning testing on the cold engine and let me know that the radiator was still ok. It was a leak in the hose with the thermostat. Total cost to fix $150. For that reason, I would not recommend Yosemite. read more
