It clearly stated all my health issues, including fibromyalgia(!), bulging discs (!) and arthritis in my spine. I saw him because of a hip replacement. He pushed on my spinal stenosis while I was laying down on my face. He triggered pain that I still have to deal with weeks later. I'm back on pain pills, and that was not the idea when I went to see a physiotherapist. When I screamed in pain because he pushed down on the spinal stenosis, he said: "What happened? I just wanted to stabilize you". The situation was absurd and unprofessional. It was Friday afternoon and he had plans that he talked about. He was incompetent and overconfident. My doctor advised me to NOT go back. I am VERY disappointed with Therapy Solutions.

For my initial consultation the person who examined me was super nice, and down to earth. They are the only reason I am currently giving this place 3 stars instead of one. I have real issues that are extremely painful, and these shots help if done correctly. I suggest anyone thinking about getting them done then they should. Especially if you are living with chronic pain. However you will want to go to a place that makes you feel like a person and not a number. With that said maybe it was an off day for the Dr. So I will try it with her one more time. Hopefully the next time around I will feel like my issues actually matter instead of feeling like a number in an assembly line. I also made a request after my consultation for big John to help with my procedure, but they didn't take my request seriously and I said some random person helping the Dr. Instead of him. I have a very serious anxiety disorder I let them all know a head of time. I explained to them that he was always very good to me, and I wanted him for a specific reason. The person who checked me after my consultation said she would make it happen if he still worked there. He does, but they did not give me him. I was saddened by the lack of attention they gave. I always try to give people a second chance. I am giving them one more shot to fix this, and if they don't my rating stays, and my business will go elsewhere. I came to Dr. Brian because of his certification in the Activator Technique - I knew he wasn't going to miss anything. I had already gone twice to a Diversified Chiropractor, and was still crippled with sharp stabbing pain with just about any movements. It was hard to breath and I was nauseous from the pain. After the first visit with Dr. Brian, I was very sore, but after having to drive an hour and a half back home, I rested with ice all evening. That night I was able to roll over in bed without waking up constantly from the pain - I actually slept! The next day I was able to breathe better, and I had a 70% reduction of sharp stabbing pain. I could even start doing some stretching! I just had my second adjustment, and am hopeful for this continuing trend back to not having any pain or disability. Dr. Brian is a blessing to our profession - and to our community.

Dr Short told me I have one leg that is shorter than the other, prescribed a heel lift to correct the uneveness which was the underlying cause of my scoliosis, and gave me a series of treatments to bring my spine back into alignment. That has been over a year and a half ago and today is the first time I have been back with any back pain. Just a couple of adjustments and I am on my way again!! Dr, Short uses a non force adjustment method with a tool called an activator which applies a specific amount of force directly to the discs of the spine that taps them back into proper alignment. The last straw was in June when he grabbed a part of my body, wriggled it in his hand, and proclaimed, "Look at this pad of fat! Barbells cause it. I see this only on men. I don't encounter it in women." Unprofessional, sexist, and inaccurate on multiple levels. I left his examining room feeling upset and informed his front desk staff of what had occurred. She made an appointment for him to telephone me. I waited but he never called. This man works with zero oversight and has daily access to people's bodies, so maybe that gives him a sense of ownership to them.
