BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY IN WARRENSBURG: Company has not returned to finish the window and siding job…read morestarted in March and via email they are not going to complete the job but they're wanting the final payment! We are still sitting with no sliding glass door, no side door, no screen door, no shutters, no outlets and vents replaced, and windows that are needed uninstalled and reinstalled correctly per a Pella premium installers, along with the new siding that will need painted due to damaged pieces being installed and nails being covered with colored cocking. This is per the James Hardie company after sending pictures. This all started because I had a leak in my roof and I contacted this company to do a brand new roof and was sold on windows and siding. With the rain we have received the last few weeks, you can hear raindrops coming in around my chimney where the original leak started. After another roofing company came to my home last week to see why I was hearing water dripping behind my fireplace when raining, we were informed and shown pictures that my roof was not properly installed! I am obviously not a roofer and I thought at least the roof (which I have paid for in full) was probably done correctly to now be informed that it also was not done properly and now literally every part of this job has to be redone!!! Per our contract, we are to have mitigation before any legal action can be taken! So how is it a company with this stipulation is able to just walk away from a job because it is just too much to correct and make right?!? There is a reason this company has shut down the Lees Summit location and is only practicing out of Warrensburg Missouri! And how long until they are shut down in Warrensburg? I have never placed a bad review for any company until this has happened with Integrity Roofing, Siding and Windows!!! I have been taken advantage of beyond belief and fell for every line they gave about being a Christian based God-honoring company!!!! People can lie but PICTURES DON'T....

No problem, I'd just park in the driveway. Less than two hours later I got a call from one of their technicians who was finishing a job early on the next block and could be there in ten minutes! Way cool! He showed up in that ten minutes, was very professional, and efficient. The prices quoted were reasonable so I told him to replace both springs (if one fails the other couldn't be far behind). Cleanup was notable and the door operated smoothly. What more could I ask for! I'm writing this review a number of years AFTER the work has been completed, and we are still very satisfied. In both major projects that we've done, the workmanship that Bordner did relative to what was replaced is far superior. Very highly recommend working with Bordner. Tyler came out and looked over our issue, he told us that after replacing the head flashing above the window behind the stucco there "would be no more leak, 100% or we'll come back out and fix it" and not to worry since it's backed by a 1-year guarantee just in case the leak didn't show up until further into the rainy season. Given their online reviews we completely trusted his word and were expecting the same great experience so many others have had. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we were told or expecting. Poor Workmanship & Unauthorized Charges: They ripped out the stucco and installed new flashing, but the workmanship was poor (see photos). When we immediately emailed them with photos and concerns, they dismissed us and ran an unauthorized charge on our card for the balance. It took persistent messaging before they admitted the work was subpar and agreed to fix it. The Leak Wasn't Fixed: Even after the cosmetic "fix" (which still left us to paint the new stucco ourselves), the window leaked the very next time it rained. Misdiagnosis & Upselling: After contacting them multiple times about the continued leaking, they agreed to send a couple guys out to do a "water test" with a garden hose. Less than 15 minutes after arriving, they had quickly determined the issue was actually at the bottom of the window--not the top area they had just charged us $2,395 to repair. Their new solution was to suggest we buy completely new windows. It seems incredibly shady that they didn't perform a simple hose test before ripping out stucco and charging $2,395 for a completely unnecessary repair. While they may have done great work for some others, I would look elsewhere unless you want to spend time and money only to end up worse off than before you hired them.

There was one group that installed the actual windows and another separate group to install the woodwork around the outside and inside. We had wood blinds at all the windows and they took them down in order to install the windows but told us they couldn't rehang them. That isn't their job. It was apparently our responsibility to get them rehung. It definitely wasn't communicated at all that they wouldn't make the windows look whole; exactly the same as the original windows.

The installation of 2 french doors, 2 sets of casement windows and a small kitchen sink window that was to take 3 days to complete resulted in 3 months and 2 days of scheduling nightmares and blunders of workmanship. The sales rep and carpenter installer were present in our home when a beginning date was set. A week early the coordinator called to say they would start the next day which we agreed to. As things progressed, painters were not ready and then the installer had booked the same date elsewhere which meant we were bumped back, one of many to follow. Below is a list of errors during the installation once it finally began approximately 1 month later. Pictures to follow. *End of third day of installation, installers noted 1 sash was dented, weather stripping was short on 1 french door and short 2 pieces of casing trim on a door. Screen door handle was installed backwards. Installers stated all were to be taken care. *Couple days after the first install attempt, we noticed almost all of the casings had streaks in the stain where there was starting and stopping spray marks. 8 pieces in all were to be replaced. *Strips of wood in framing on exterior between window casings were left unstained and sealed, exposed to weather. * When sash was replaced it was replaced with an 18 pane instead of the original 6 pane. Weather stripping brought was not right length so no attempt to replace that day. *Kitchen sink window was not built up and supported with framing and barely hanging on with thin finish nails with large gaps between the trim and existing frame. *When attempting to replace 8 botched stained casings, the installer framed 2 small, Non-Pella windows that were to be completely covered with new kitchen cabinets. The original 8 defective stained pieces remained intact. When trimming the last french door of the 2 missing pieces, mitered corners had spacings revealing the wallpaper behind and unstained cut edges. Still no replacement for weather stripping on french door. After numerous rescheduling all work was completed. Two letters were written in which we detailed all the above to Pella, stating our frustration and that there should be some sort of compensation for the $24,000.00 requested, paid in full amount at contract signing. There first response was offering $100 gift card in which we had already made it clear that we were not using Pella again. We originally agreed to $1,000 but we were asked to sign a Good Will Agreement stating we would not post any comments on social media and the document was unclear as to whether any warranty of products or installation would be honored. Upon speaking to a lawyer, he advised not to sign and that we were not requesting enough, without mentioning any compensatory damages for lost work or rescheduling of our other contractors. We rejected their final offer of $1,000 and choose to send as many negative reviews as we can, warning other consumers of Pella of Lenexa.
