If you are in the HB/FV area, I recommend visiting Bruce's Tree's, maybe you'll get lucky and be in and out in 30 minutes like us this time. The farm has the most adorable animals, including goats, chickens, a cute pig named Penelope, and a 7 month old donkey named Hazel, whose little 'hee haws' were a highlight of my visit. It was such a pleasure to chat with the owner and learn about all the different activities they host, such as line dancing, a farmers market, and arts & craft events. When we went back to the lot to inform them, their only offer was to give us the larger base they should have put on in the first place. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. It was my fault for not checking the prices before committing to getting the tree. I was in a hurry. Home Depot is less than half the price but won't last as long and they don't look as fresh. This says a lot because previous trees purchased at other locations have barely lasted till Christmas despite all the care and love we gave them. Not the case with trees from this lot. Also, the variety of options and the service have always been stellar. The people are super friendly and helpful. If the unwrapped trees don't float your boat, they often have a stack of trees still wrapped up in which the people are happy to unwrap so you could find your tree. But I will tell you, out of all the years we have gone to this lot, I have only asked to unwrap a couple trees once. We have always seem to find our tree from the unwrapped selection. Overall, this is the spot to get an incredibly fresh and long lasting Christmas tree for the holiday season. Added bonuses are great service and transparent pricing--what is listed is what you pay and it's super reasonable.

Miguel helped us by opening up some fresh trees that had just arrived from the truck, and the first 8 foot Noble tree he opened was the one!
