I took one of the electrodes up and saw my skin was blistering. I called and they said bring it back. I took it back and gave it to the che kin gal. I explained what happened and she said she would tell the tech/doctor what happened and they would call me to discuss the "next step", as I still needed to get my heart issue checked out. I included my name and all contact info in the box/bag which contained the heart monitor to make sure this wouldn't fall thru the cracks. No one ever called me to discuss what happened. I decided that if they were ok with letting a possible heart issue just be ignored I'll go over to UCI. That was shameful in my opinion

I stood in line at the wrong place for 10 minutes before someone asked what I was there to do and told me I was on the wrong line/area. The walls are painted a dark yellow color and need to be re-done either bright white or a nice light blue. It makes it look even more depressing. Please step it up.

Although her voice mail greeting states she'll return the call within 24 hrs, and pull be lucky if you ever hear from her again. Either she is severely underpaid, is totally overwhelmed, or hates talking to people, but you won't get a return phone call. After numerous calls and msgs and no response, it's very easy to move on and replace Dr Marin. Sadly his "Director of First Impressions" is certainly a detriment to his practice.

My interventional cardiologist Dr. Dinesh Kumar and his office staff provided great communication to me on following up on appointments and other services. Dr. Kumar is very informative when discussing your test results and welcomes feedback. He is an interventional cardiologist and worked at Columbia University in NYC. His nurse Krista has a sunshine smile and a positive aura. The office building is very atrractive etc. Copayment is due immediately upon your medical visit. Their is an great cafe called eCroissant in the back of the 721 building that opens from 7am-3:30pm from Mon to Friday. The office is open daily from 8am to 5pm except on weekends. I had a bad experience with PCA at the Irvine Office with dr Giglou. I requested a copy of the…read morenotes from my visit and noticed a discrepancy between what occurred during the appointment and what was documented in the medical notes. It's very important for medical records to be accurate and complete. Especially if you're dealing with heart problems. There was also an issue with communication from the front desk regarding the monitor. She provided us with the incorrect information about the monitor. She informed us that the monitor would be sent to us by mail and that we would need to follow the provided instructions to place it on the patient ourselves. I found out later that the monitor was received by the office, but we were never contacted to let us know that it had arrived or to provide further instructions. Phone is not a reliable form of communication. Their phone starts with 866 which is spam. This is unbelievable. The office should have provided a clear written notification such as a letter or text message. Relying on a phone call, when patient is expecting the monitor by mail, can lead to confusion and delay.

I had to take a day off work, leave me in limbo as she stated, "I have a lot wrong!" I did poor. "She has 80 90 year olds that could pass that same test!" I may never know. It took me almost a month to get that appointment. Hopefully, when I drop dead of a cardiac arrest, the coroner will tell the world what killed me! I feel I shouldn't have been wasting time on a treadmill. I should have been at the Orange facility with an IV drug that hastens your heartbeat, not wasting time with a test that I was expected to fail to begin with.
