Santoro and Sons was a godsend for us. We were new to the real estate game and needed help navigating through the complicated real estate world. The whole process of pre-approvals, inspections, contingencies, escrow, title, insurance, closing costs, and interest rate points was enough to drive a person crazy. Gigi Santoro smoothed everything out for us. She has a unique personality that blends patience with sternness that helped push us along through the buying process. Her patience in explaining EVERYTHING to us was saintly. She outlined every step/goal along the way and was a quick call or a text away if we had any questions. Her sternness was felt when we didn't provide documents when deadlines came around. She worked so hard in getting everything streamlined and in order that I understood her frustration when we weren't pulling our share of the load. After she excised my "lazy" gene and got me into shape, we closed on our dream home in Burbank in three weeks!! It would be irresponsible for me to leave out her awesome team in this review. Brett Doscher and Lisa Shin from Augusta Financial were great. You can tell that Gigi and Augusta Financial worked a lot with each other and had good chemistry. We had to work through a lot of things in order to get the loan approved and financed, but they slammed dunked it for us. Thank you for all the late sessions to accommodate our working schedule! A.T. Power Electric needs a paragraph dedicated to them as well. The house needed a lot of electrical work (which the seller agreed to pay for). Armen, from A.T. Power Electric, was incredible. He did a great job replacing the whole electrical system. Armen's painter (sorry don't know technical term to call him) did a great job repairing the holes and retouching the paint to match the wall afterwards. However, the thing that impressed me most was Armen's integrity. After receiving the check from escrow, he could have simply ignored our calls afterwards. However, when the kitchen light didn't work, he stopped by and showed us that we need to activate the fuse switch (DUH!). When our sprinkler system didn't work, we realized that the timer wasn't receiving power. Instead of refusing to do the additional work, since it was out of scope, he stopped by and fixed the issue while we were away at work. Yes, we did leave him a key for free access to the place since we were comfortable with all of Gigi's referrals. Armen wasn't satisfied with the outdoor outlet covers that were installed, so he stopped by AGAIN and replaced them. Let me repeat, he made another house visit to replace a plastic outlet cover. Needless to say, he has a customer in me moving forward. Gigi didn't abandon us once the home was sold. She provided us with referrals from gardeners to where to shop for affordable furniture in the area. If you drive around Burbank, you will notice that she's part of the community and supports the local schools (look at the Burbank High baseball field sponsor wall). She has a rolodex of contractors and resources that she has made available to us. Help is just a phone call or text away. If you want to be pampered with fakeness and BS from an agent, look elsewhere. If you want an honest and straight-shooting person that will get you into your next home, look no further. Gigi recently sold our house for us in Burbank. We have a great experience. Once we decided to sell Gigi spent some time going through the house and yard to show us what we need to do to get ready to list the house. She mainly suggested to de-clutter and start boxing up most of our personal belongings that we don't use everyday. She had a professional photographer come and take some great photos for her internet listings and brochures. Her advice really worked. We sold our house for $30,000 over our original price and she got it sold in less then 30 days. The transaction went smoothly and there really were not any headaches along the way.
