This is my second review I'm posting for Dr. Bhatia because she deserves it! I just got back from taking my mom to her appointment with Dr. Bhatia and had another amazing experience. Her assistant Robert no longer works there, so Dr. Bhatia did all the testing herself, with my mom. She is so patient, kind, knowledgeable, and quick! The last time my mom had these test done it took almost double the time. Dr. Bhatia got my mom through all her tests with ease all while congratulating her on her improvements with her lungs and breathing. I have been dealing with my mom's breathing problems for many years. Every doctor we have went to gives my mom an inhaler and tells her that it's only gonna get worse with age. Dr. Bhatia has never said that once. She is encouraging, answers every single question we have, tells my mom she's proud of the improvements she's made and does it all with a smile. This appointment the entire office ran so, so smoothly and in less than half the time it took with my mom's last appointment with Dr. Bhatia assistant. I'm sure it's more work for Dr. Bhatia to do everything herself, but honestly, we were so happy with having her complete everything from start to finish. Please, if you are wondering if this is a good place to go for yourself or a family member, DO NOT HESITATE! You will not be disappointed! It is so incredibly hard to find a decent doctor let alone a wonderful doctor. Dr. Bhatia is beyond wonderful! Thank you Dr. Bhatia for all you do for my mom! My mom will FOREVER be your patient! I've seen a few complaints about Dr. Bhatia and how her office staff has a turnover. I worked for doctors for almost 20 years and i can tell you that it is pretty common for MA's and front office staff to change jobs often. It's usually that the staff can't get along with each other, it's not the doctors fault. Dr. Bhatia is an excellent doctor she is compassionate and really cares about her patients. You can see she has so many 5 star reviews which should tell you she is an excellent doctor. There are very few doctors in the Las Vegas area that have that many 5 star Reviews. So as long as the doctor is still there that's all that should matter. read more

The doctor cannot seem to manage her own office, which makes care very frustrating. In the several years I was a patient, she burned through many office employees and assistants which made consistent care difficult. She let my medically necessary asthma medication expire and her receptionist told me she was not refilling -any- prescriptions or following up on any patient needs via telephone, email, or fax. My pharmacy called her twice to simply have her authorize refills and she refused to answer. Her incompetence can compromise your health. Avoid this doctor. read more

Dr Bhatia is the best! She really helps my son and I with our asthma. She does a thorough job and was easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

My mother suffers from severe sleep apnea and pulmonary issues for years. Doctor Bhatia in one visit made such a difference with my mother. We've gone to so many different doctors and she is absolutely amazing!!! She is the best doctor out there, and her right hand man is Robert. He works along side her in the office and is absolutely amazing and gets everything done!!! Never hesitate to call this office. I was very impressed with how she walked me through issues I was being seen for and took steps to get a thorough picture to address what I had going on. Dr. Bahtia has practically saved my life. After 13 years of going through 6 different lung specialists who misdiagnosed me, she took her time to review my old file and went in a different direction. She started with a bronchoscopy, and that's how she found out I didn't have pulmonary fibrosis but bronchiectasis. The medicine the other doctors prescribed was definitely NOT working. As soon as Dr. Bahtia put me on the right medication and followed her directions on how to take care of myself, I tell you what...my lungs revived! Excellent doctor! So hard to find specialists of her caliber in the Valley. Thorough and accurate care. Does not recommend expensive testing unless absolutely necessary. Trusts that patients know themselves best. Prescribes only minimally invasive procedures. Office staff are very cordial, respectful, and helpful. It is not possible to put into words what a unique, educational and awesome experience we had with Dr. Bhatia. My mother was rushed to Summerlin ER and was in respiratory failure. She was in great health, but over two weeks prior she was having fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and was short of breath all the time. She said she was "tired" she said "I think I am dehydrated", I came home after work and took one look at her and called 911. They intubated in the ER and she then spent a week in ICU. Upon release we were blessed to get an appointment to see Dr. Sapna Bhatia and her assistant Robert. From the arrival, to the Pulmonary Function Tests Robert performed, with his bold, supportive voice "GO, GO GO", my mom did amazing. Robert was such a delight, and a jewel for this practice. He is a much needed force that empowers the patient to WANT TO move the incentive spirometer and the equipment to detect your areas of struggle, my mom said I did not want to let him down...so she pushed as hard as she could because he motivated her. LOVE HIM!! Dr. Bhatia gave us good news for my mom, looks like a bipap will be her best friend for the years to come, and she was a previous 30 year smoker and had quit at the age of 55, now 81, those lungs are tired and a bit damaged from her bad habit. Oxygen will be her friend as needed. All this time, we had no idea and in one appointment her life changed, for the better. Nonetheless, Dr. Bhatia was full of information, she took great time and provided explicit detail that mom has Moderate COPD, and we never had any idea. Her body did a great job of compensating for her Carbon Dioxide overload, until it could not any longer. Dr. Bhatia was full of optimism and and understanding and knowledge, mostly, she gave us relief, along with hope and thanks. Sure things are a bit different for mom, but mom is breathing better than she has in years, she is walking 6 minutes on the treadmill daily, her O2 is between 96-99 every day. She is alive and thankful. We all are. How do you thank a provider for giving you hope, and more importantly, faith, that you do what you are supposed to and life should be a "breath of fresh air". Dr. Bhatia and Robert and your wonderful front office, thank you. Words are not enough to share just how much we love you. Working in healthcare I will and have already told everyone, including my own doctors, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR ALL YOUR PULMONARY NEEDS.......what a gift they are. read more

Every time I've gone to see Dr Bhatia I feel like it's a concierge service!! She is always on time, I'm never rushed, and she provides me with important and valuable information. Dr Bahtia is such a caring doctor. She takes the time to explain everything and will answer all your questions. She is completely honest and tells it like it is. She is compassionate, empathetic and when she speaks to you I feel as she is speaking to me more as a friend than as a my doctor. I never feel rushed. Her staff is amazing as well. Dr Bhatia is still the best. She left her old practice to open her own, and I'm so glad she did! Her new office is bright and cheerful. My appointment was quick and I love that she has all of the equipment to test my lung function right there in the office. She also didn't send me for repeat imaging. She pulled up all of my old imaging right there in the room. The best part? She gave me better medication to control my asthma. I have been telling doctors forever that I didn't feel my asthma was well controlled and I was still using my rescue inhaler 2-3x a day. Dr Bhatia did all of the necessary testing and I didn't even have to tell her I'm not well controlled. She knew. She ever looked at my insurance formulary to make sure what she prescribed was covered. Her MA Robert is very friendly and helpful as well. Overall, I had a great experience and I am so glad that Dr Bhatia is in her own practice now. It's been so hard to find a good pulmonologist, but now my search is over! read more

I just wanted to thank Dr. Bhatia and Robert for always taking care of my grandfather. These two really go above and beyond. They show genuine care for patients and make sure that things are done exactly as they have been explained. We were having some issues with the company we get our concentrator from and Robert took the time out of his day to make sure it was all taken care of and we got what we needed. I highly recommend Dr Bhatia. I finally , after 9 doctors, found a wonderful Dr . She spent over an hour with me one on one , clearly explaining my concerns. She was precise and clear and so attentive . All my questions were answered and she is extremely knowledgeable regarding pulmonary issues. Her medical assistant, Robert, spent an hour with me as well. He even gave me his direct phone number should I need to contact them. I am very fortunate to have had this dr referred to me by a friend. Dr Bhatia and her entire staff made the process of diagnosing sleep apnea and acquiring a CPAP machine fast and easy. Options were explained clearly, and I was given the choice of a take-home sleep study (which was out of pocket) or in-house study. Since I was anxious to get the process started (I was not sleeping for over a year and a half) I chose at home. After Dr Bhatia diagnosed sleep apne, Robert worked quickly and diligently with my insurance and the CPAP company to get my machine 10 DAYS after confirmed diagnosis! I've been seeing Dr. Bhatia since she was with Comprehensive Cancer & when I was told she was leaving, I only wanted to continue my care with her. When I saw that she opened her own private practice, I called right away to see if they'll cover my insurance. Her office receptionist was able to call me right away once they got approved for taking my insurance and I've been with her since! I had an appt with another doctor at CC & cancelled once i got the insurance approval for Dr. Bhatia. She's the first doctor I've had who was able to help me keep my asthma controlled. She listens and is very compassionate. She's very easy to talk to and she'll answer ANY questions you have with no judgments. Her MA, Robert also transferred with her and he's been just the same! It's so easy to contact him & both of them have helped with my insurance esp with treatments that they're aware will benefit me even if insurance is being an ass lol. I'm so grateful when I was researching pulmonologists, I found Dr. Bhatia. Idk anyone who can top her care! read more

Dr.Bhatia came highly recommended and when I tried to make an appointment with her at the Lung Center I was told she no longer worked there and they had no idea how to get in touch with her. I found this very unethical and unprofessional but luckily for me I was able to locate where she had gone. I first met with Robert, her Medical Assistant and he was fabulous. You have to understand that I was referred to Dr. Bhatia because I had a suspicious X-ray of my lungs. Robert was very professional, calming, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. He explained each procedure he did with me and why he was doing it. I then met Dr. Sapna Bhatia and was greeted with the same warmth, professionalism knowledge, friendliness and caring that I got from Robert. A doctors practice is only as good as it's employees and this one is at the top of my list. When I left there I knew I had chosen the right pulmonary doctor and staff for my health and wellness. I feel calm and nurtured just walking into her office. In her treatment of me, she leaves no stone unturned. I never ever feel rushed. I feel as those she has all day for me. This office is AMAZING! Dr. Bhatia is super caring and really dives into finding out what's going on with her patients. Robert is a super hard worker, and you will see his friendly face greet you when they take you back for the appointment. He hustles for his patients, anyone with eyes could tell. I love Dr. Bhatia and her staff. They are all so caring and the office is always clean, including the rooms. Very spacious, so for me as a long term survivor of COVID, this helps ease my anxiety from being too close to people. She was my doctor while I was hospitalized at Summerlin Hosp due to COVID. I was there for over a month and she was the doctor that helped my get through. She noticed I wasn't getting better and my breathing was getting worse and the same day I was moved to a different unit. I honestly owe her and the Summerlin Hosp staff my life! I followed her after my discharge and will continue to be treated by her and her staff. Her appointments are never rushed, she takes her time with you and makes sure you understand her treatment and that she understands your concerns and symptoms FYI...Robert is the best, he is there form me whenever I need any renewal on my DME products or any other concerns. I was impressed with her as a doctor but not so much with the staff in that office. They need to have better communication in its Lung Center on Tenaya Way! I went with my husband to his appointment last week. He passed the breathing test OK but Dr. Bhatia didn't like what she heard when she listened to his lungs so she said she wanted him to have a special kind of MRI on his chest and asked who we used. Since I'm on the Culinary Health Fund we use Desert Radiologists. The technician said that they would have to get it approved by the Culinary and then would call him. That was a week ago so my husband called them and left a message yesterday. They called back and left a message saying "you don't need approval--just call them!!" He then called them back and they got in touch with Desert Radiologists. Long story short, he has an appointment next week with Desert Radiologists (the scheduling person there had an attitude)--however, I do believe he needs a referral slip which CCC didn't provide him. read more
